A cook, disenfranchised (or so he thought) by the advent of food and goods replicators, used his personal food replicator to transport himself into the past - which created a new timeline. This was only the first instance of time travel, and there have indeed been many. Rawling’s nefarious deeds…
When:
March 25, 2008
What:
Scarf: on the street, Chinatown Dress: Jessica Schroeder Designs (me!) Tights: Betsey Johnson Boots: Vintage, thrifted
Where:
Here, there, everywhere (but mainly to my desk)
Why:
People! I could not get dressed this morning! No inspiration. I only think this look is worthy because I threw in the bright colored, springy scarf. The dress is something I designed, pattern drafted and sewed up. These boots need to make a date with the cobbler asap if they want to see the light of day again. But really, I’m dreaming of sandals and more importantly- sand.
When:
April 9, 2008
What:
Sweater: HK Dress: Target Tights: We Love Colors Boots: vintage Scarf: vintage, thrifted, London
Where:
Office, drinks/dinner for Sarah’s B-day
Why:
I really should have tried harder. I cannot stand this wimpy inbetween weather. Lets pump it up to 60 already so I can flash some bare legs. I am sick of wearing tights. Today these do not match. Navy with a black outfit. A big “no no” in the world of color matching. Hmmm. Don’t Care. looks cool with green.
When:
March 19, 2008
What:
Jacket: No Boundaries (Walmart) Scarf: ?? T-neck: Zara Dress: Isaac M for Target TIghts: We Love Colors Socks: Target Boots: Marc by Marc Jacobs
Where:
the daily grind
Why:
I am cold. And its raining. So that makes it pretty easy for me. I think thick tights and a jersey dress are a lot more comfortable than jeans (especially when I’ll be behind a desk all day), so that’s where the outfit began. Extra socks add to the warmth factor, as do the jacket and scarf. And rainboots are a no-brainer. Drip-Drop-Drip: here we go!
