Why:

Even though its rainy, its also really warm which is fantastic! Last night I re-did my closet and pulled this skirt out with my spring wardrobe.  I made it in an afternoon last summer and I love the crazy fabric. I also totally pulled a Marilyn and flashed a bunch of people with the wind this morning. Oops.

Why:

I think curlers are the coolest. I love wearing them around the house and I would probably not be phased by wearing them to the deli for coffee under a giant scarf. I’m old school. I rock it like that. And as for todays dress/colors, when the world gives you lemons, make some god damned lemonade! Pep up kiddo. I’m feeling a bit like Little Edie. Add some giant shades and a tap dance and I’m ready to go.

My entries for the Doctor Who Tumblr Tumbler Tumblr Contest! I knew I could make a believable Tardis and Dalek, so I decided to see how itty-bitty I could plausibly make them. They’re each a little under a half-inch tall, sculpted out of polymer clay, and painted with acrylic paints. The stalks of the dalek are metal pins that I cut and/or bent. 

For curiosity’s sake, if anyone could just let me know whether this counts as one or two entries, I’d be much obliged.

All in all, a day well spent!
