What:
Blouse: vintage, thrifted Belt: thrifted Jeans: thrifted (Acne) Flats: Target
Where:
Work!!
Why:
I am so boring. Did not want to get dressed today. Love this shirt and is a fall back. Repeating old outfits. Rain = little effort. Always good to have some outfits that work without having to do much thinking. When I was younger, I had my closet organized into “M-T-W-T-F” and I would just pick out everything for the week. That would be a great idea to start back up again.
my entry for the doctor who tumblr tumbler tumblr competition! I thought I’d bring back my shoes - and I’ve included a Weeping Angel and the Gallifreyan for Ten and Rose, my favourite ship ^^
well, here’s hoping!
When:
May 10, 2008
What:Jacket: Fred Segal
Top: Anthropologie
Jeans: Zara
Bag: thrifted, vintage
Where:
Garden party
Why:
Its sort of warm, sort of cool and spring enough to get away with a semi revealing top. But then there’s the commute jacket that can stay in place until I lose my shyness/drink too much.

We’re sending a TARDIS into space!
November 23, 2013 is the 50th anniversary of Doctor Who, and we’re extremely excited. So excited, in fact, that we almost don’t know what to do… almost. Actually, we know exactly what to do: We’ve built a replica TARDIS and we’re sending it into orbit. Yes, really! We’re not talking about sticking a little, plastic TARDIS on top of a model rocket and shooting it really high into the sky (although that would be wicked cool). And we’re not going to tie a TARDIS to a weather balloon (which, by the way would also be pretty flippin’ awesome). No, we’re putting a TARDIS into the payload bay of a real, actual, honest-to-goodness, rocket, and launching it into a Low Earth Orbit.
Low Earth Orbit is where satellites need to be to actually “orbit” the Earth, not just fall back down. So, we’re talking about sending this thing, really, really, high… space high. The international space station is in Low Earth Orbit. Seriously. The guys on the International Space Station will be able to look out their windows and say: “Check out that police call box floating by.”
Twitter was abuzz earlier this week when the BBC announced that Matt Smith, the latest actor to play the main character in Doctor Who, is stepping down.
Some fans might wonder if Smith quit the popular British show to work at a Planet Organic grocery store in Edmonton.
There, at the checkout, is a man who looks very much like Smith and even dresses like his character on the show.
“One guy actually took a picture of me,” says Smith lookalike Christian Milanovic. “So that was interesting. Then he tipped me.”
My entry for the doctor who tumblr tumbler tumblr contest. I made a Banana Dalek and my door decorated like a TARDIS.
This actually took a lot of time.
My entries for the Doctor Who Tumblr Tumbler Tumblr Contest! I knew I could make a believable Tardis and Dalek, so I decided to see how itty-bitty I could plausibly make them. They’re each a little under a half-inch tall, sculpted out of polymer clay, and painted with acrylic paints. The stalks of the dalek are metal pins that I cut and/or bent.
For curiosity’s sake, if anyone could just let me know whether this counts as one or two entries, I’d be much obliged.
All in all, a day well spent!
