holding an oc closely.... if you had a fandom would people be insane about you....
Final part of the Old-ish oc references that I touched up rather than redrawing!
Rhessyne (she/they) is a half-fae witch who lives on a small farm just outside a rural town. She practices plant and healing magics, and sells potions and minor remedies on the side along with extra produce from her farm. However she would never think to take money or goods from someone suffering from a serious condition, and as such heals for free.
Residing on her farm with her is her partner, Avon (an ex-werewolf hunter turned werewolf trying to recover from his past), some chickens and goats, and on occasion various members of the Fae side of her family.
Fun Fact: Wood fae dress to match the season they were born in, hence why Rhessyne wears spring colors and florals!

artists, this is ur reminder to start drawing references or redesign your original characters before artfight in july this year
You keep rebloging all your drawings, what is going on?
Gave my oc Thorne Crow (she/her) a new reference <3 <3 the one with her vest has design notes and the one without has scar notes.
A quick introduction to her character: Thorne's role is that of a Hunter, a military-esque position made up of people raised to combat the monsters (and humans) that threaten the safety of civilians. She is stubborn and hotheaded, the type to rush in and get things done rather than sit and wait, but also the type to take a hit for someone else. She's tough, used to living simply, and is a lot more social than her demeanor might imply.
Fun Facts abt her: She does have magic (shadow magic), but because she wasn't ever properly trained to use it she can only do like. One thing. And she does that one thing very well but its only the one thing. She is very competitive and loves a good challenge. And she's very close to her brother, Ebony.
There is a protection sigil/rune on her vest. I've introduced this one before with prior ocs (Salem and Ebony), it basically reinforces the piece of clothing against physical and (certain) magical attacks!
Another redraw of my old art! Left to Right, 2024 vs 2021
FUNGUARY IS HAPPENING AGAIN!!! February is right around the corner, which means itās soon time for Funguary 2024! the drawing event where we draw a bunch of mushroom based characters during the month of feb. This will be our third year of Funguary, and this time itās a leap year!
Hereās how it works: Each week of the month will have a theme with seven different prompts, draw a mushroom character within that theme in order to join. The themes are Celestial, Demonic, Edible and Cryptic. Each week of February is a new theme. You donāt have to complete all the prompts, just one mushroom per theme/week is plenty!
If youāre hardcore you can definitely try and finish all the prompts though ;). The challenge intensity is adjustable to what suits you. This is a chill event where the goal is to just have fun and vibe, and honor the fungi kingdom with some really cool artš
I invite you all to come draw mushrooms with me! Use the hashtag #Funguary and #funguary2024 when posting your creations. Iāll be posting some of the creations here, and Iāll also be hanging out in the hashtag and comment sections! Really hope yāall join and draw fungi with meš„°ššæ See you all on the first of February, LETS GOOOO!!
Prepping new character icons for artfight!! This is my oc Ebony, who's ref I've posted previously.
I plan to make a mass post with the all the icons I end up drawing later, but wanted to post him separately cause I like how his turned out <3
Hey what drawing software do you use, specifically brushes?? Your linework is scrumptious!!!
Hello there!
First off, thank you for the compliment! Glad to hear my linework is enjoyable! :D
I primarily use pressure brushes when drawing, specifically a size brush for line art/linework and an opacity brush for some light rendering. Currently I'm using Photoshop (though I've been thinking of testing out some other programs soon) so those would be the "Hard Round Pressure Size" and "Hard Round Pressure Opacity" brushes found in General Brushes. I've found the size brush is very good for both subtle and evident line weight variation. Thank you for the ask, I hope my answer makes sense!
