Personally MY favourite character is the pants guy. His character arc and quest for trying to cure Daleton's curse and coming to accept his role as a man who makes beautiful pants for a man who can never appreciate them got to me

Can't believe they killed him off in season five when the pants were no longer useful to the plot

so i just finished watching dragon age: absolution and like. whyyyy cant the gay ppl win. just once. even just a little bit.

yes i get emo abt the jinx and vi foil, but what i really wanna talk about is the jinx and jace foil. two brilliant minds that both figured out the power of the strange blue crystals and how to harness it, but separated by class (i.e. tools and access and power dynamics).

jinx being part of the lower class and being manipulated by its territory leader, OF COURSE she was going to build weapons and explosives and the things that are used to progress a rebellion. jace was a student, with access to sophisticated tools and mentors and eventually even a leadership position himself, OF COURSE he was going to make mechanisms to build and help further the expansion of a prosperous "higher society." i just. i love when characters are a product of their environment/social class.
