The movie was boring. This is only your thoughts because the boy lying next to you must not be thinking the same way as he appeared to be deeply focused on what the characters were preparing for the upcoming battle. You moved your eyes from the movie scene and fixed them on your boyfriend's face. His dark blue eyes are glistening with the lights coming from the screen. His eyelashes were so long and beautiful, everyone wished they had what he had. You wished that too but after getting the chance to be the significant other of the prettiest boy on campus, your only wish was to stay beside him for the rest of your life. 

"Megumi", you called his name as you leaned towards him and lightly wrapped your forearm around his torso.

"Hm mm," he responded.

"Do you know that people tend to fall asleep faster beside someone they love?"

There he finally blinked, eyes released from the screen and he took a moment to consider what you just said.

"... Is that so?", he murmured to himself and the memories reflected back on his mind. He remembered how he always ended up drifting off on your head on the way back to the dorm while taking a train, that evening in the park where he took a nap on your lap, on those long and tiring training days of summer when he couldn't help but to doze off on your shoulders as he came to your room, laid down on the couch with you and talked about his day, those rainy days that made both of you feel too lazy to do anything so you just stayed inside and cuddled up to sleep, and that time when he first ever cried in front of you. He swore he would never forget how you were stroking the back of his head slowly and hugging him so tight and so warm that his tears eventually dried up just before he fell asleep in your arms. Indeed, the very comforting sensation you gave every time he was around you was like home to him.

"I think it's true," he quietly answered.

Waiting for your response, he turned his head to your side. But by one glance at your face, he found that you were already sound asleep.

A small smile spread across his lips. Giving an affectionate little kiss on your forehead as he softly caressed one side of your cheek, he whispered,

"I love you too."

NANAMI KENTO washes your hair for you. after a long day at work or even just sunday mornings, showers with nanami are always relaxing. it's routine for him to hold you for a while under the hot water. you usually feel the tension in his shoulders and neck wash down the drain. his broad shoulders just sag sag sag until he let's out a deep sigh against your neck, pressing a quick kiss to your jaw before pulling away. he never goes too far though, just enough to turn around and grab the shampoo bottle. he loves seeing you relax under his hands, his fingertips massaging your scalp so gently, working the product through. he gets a front row seat to watch your eyes droop in serenity, the goosebumps break out across your side when he gets that spot by your ear, the water dripping down your arms, your chest and belly, down your hips and thighs. he gets to look at you— his one and only— in your most peaceful state without you teasing him for staring. he always kisses your forehead before rinsing, even if he sometimes gets soap in his mouth.

GOJO SATORU takes pictures of you. he has an entire album in his phone of just you: you shoving breakfast in your mouth, you half asleep with pillow creases, you doing laundry, you putting on your shoes— literally just you doing anything. he also has plenty of you two together. he takes pictures of you guys sight-seeing, trying new shops, fancy dinner dates, and everything in between. he wants all the moments with you where his soul feels a little lighter and he thinks "oh wow" when he looks at you to be uploaded to his cloud immediately. gojo also loves taking selfies and sending them to megumi + nanami. megumi always asks to say hi to you. nanami always responds with an "OK" or "Very nice." gojo makes fun of him for it even though he really does appreciate his replies.

FUSHIGURO MEGUMI rests his head on you. he'll just lean against ur shoulder while you're watching a movie together, or rest his head against yours while you're looking for the right noodle packs at the store, and he'll shove his head into your chest when he's having a bad day. he isn't the best with words, especially when he wants to express his icky love feelings. so he starts to just... lean on you. it started with your legs and arms touching when you sat together, and then he tried putting his arm around your waist or shoulders. that one got real embarrassing quickly, so he settled for softly resting his head on you. most times it's for just a couple seconds before he'll pull away and continue with what he was doing. but sometimes it lasts longer (usually when you're alone). it started off as a "don't go yet" and with time turned into a "come closer." you're soft and warm... it's really comforting. you're safe to him.

ITADORI YUUJI warms you up when you're cold. when you're on walks together and it's cold out, he'll take your hands in his and use his breath to warm them up. before he interlocks your fingers, he'll press a kiss to both your palms and flash a bright smile at you. also, he typically runs hot, so he has no problem giving up his jacket if you need it (he probably wasn't using it anyway). and if the jacket isn't enough, he wraps you up in his arms like a yuuji-shaped heated blanket. after a few minutes, you think he's gonna let you go, but no. he stays like that in the middle of the street, arms locked and chin resting on your shoulder. he'll awkwardly shuffle to a bench still wrapped around you before he even thinks about letting go of his baby.

OKKOTSU YUTA kisses your hands. every chance he gets he'll do it— just presses the softest of kisses to your knuckles, your palm, your fingertips. if he's driving, he always links his fingers with yours, bringing your hand up to his mouth to kiss the back of it. sometimes it's quick and light, sometimes he holds it there, conveying all his feelings he knows he can't possibly communicate into a kiss. he bunches it all up into one singular point of contact between his lips and your skin, and he'll continue to press kiss after kiss to your hands until that mushy feeling inside dissipates. he didn't expect that feeling to only grow. he kisses you so casually....naturally, because for him, it is. however, he'll go bright red and won't look you in the eye if you kiss the calluses littered on his palms.

I hate it when people misinterpret zenitsu’s affection for nezuko as aggressive or impure. Zenitsu always treated nezuko with a very pure intention. He has never once done anything to her in a weird way. 

FIrstly, zenitsu never chased nezuko in the manga as depicted in the anime. ‘Bowing to beautiful women is the way of zenitsu’ -> he respects women as u can see. 

When nobody bother to talk to nezuko in the box, he was the one who accompanied her every night and talked with her in the BOX. He always brought her to see flowers every night because he clearly knew nezuko couldn’t see it in the day. He’s really just a pure boy who wants to treat the person he likes well. 

His love language is acts of service. That’s why you will see he’s always giving nezuko flowers. He even fulfilled his promise about making a flower crown for nezuko in the end. Look how happy she was. 

Nezuko blushed when she saw zenitsu was back. This clearly shows that zennezu is not one-sided like some haters said. 

He knew nezuko couldn’t see the goldfish so he brought it to her room just so she could look at it. Even though he knew he would get scolded by aoi or shinobu. 

Zenitsu did not protect nezuko just once but twice. He always thought that he was weak and not able to protect anyone so he wished that he could at least protect nezuko. That’s why in mugen train he wanted to protect nezuko even in his subconsciousness (while asleep) and did it. 

Even when nezuko was turned back into human, her first memory of zenitsu is a sweet image of him smiling and giving her flowers. 

Zenitsu has always treated nezuko with a pure intention so i don’t want anyone to misinterpret it.

Differences between anime and manga There are some differences between the anime and manga that may affect people’s opinion of the Zennezu ship, particularly in regards to Zenitsu’s customs.

Wisteria House: In the manga, Zenitsu simply nods and bows to Nezuko. In the anime, Zenitsu chases her through the room.

Butterfly Mansion: In the manga, Zenitsu talks to Nezuko while she is in the box and he shows her Shinobu’s goldfish. In the anime, Zenitsu asks a Kakushi girl to go for a walk with him. In that part of the manga, he just said that he would go out and play.

Tales of a Demon Slayer Academy: In the manga, Zenitsu says that Nezuko is so cute chewing on her bread and that she looks like the protagonist of a Shoujo manga because she is so beautiful. In the anime, Zenitsu drools over Nezuko, Makomo, and Shinobu.

I like how zenitsu is always taking care of nezuko (in the box) everytime tanjiro is not around. That’s how kind he is. 

In this scene, he didn’t even know nezuko was inside the box. He only protected it because he knew it was important to tanjiro.

In mugen train, he protected nezuko and the other passengers. 

He even panicked about how nezuko would be exposed to the sunlight. 

He even carried the box with nezuko inside himself because he knew tanjiro couldn’t do it at that time. 

In conclusion, zenitsu is always that pure, kind and reliable friend of tanjiro’s.
