It's so crazy how "Don't feed the trolls" was like the Motto of the internet & in forum culture of the 00s and early 10s and now you log onto a certain website and it's just an endless sea of people pouring gruel into the troll trough day in day out and no one seems to realize or care that their internet experience being a constant deluge of misery and bad faith discussion might in fact be their own fault
Love the scene in The Terror where the bisected bodies of two different people are stacked together and posed by what, up until now, everyone had no reason to believe wasn't just a regular polar bear and all the guys are like:

In the book, Benitez specifically points to US imperialism as having caused the death of more Christians than radicalized Muslim youth (and rightly suggests it had a role in that very radicalization!) In the movie, he vaguely identifies the culprit as the 'hate' everyone carries inside themselves. An odd (and very liberal) conclusion. This is one of the few places where the movie departs from the book
