She’s so interested in them
Always talks about how pretty they are, and how pretty you are
Asks to touch them and she’s so incredibly gentle about it
— hu tao —
Loves cuddling and being small spoon, your wings and arms wrapping around her
I don’t think she’s much of a person to be small spoon, so it’s… very comforting to her
Probably touches them randomly to scare you
— ei —
“Hm… your wings are beautiful” is a common thing she says. Typically right in the morning when you wake up
Always pets(???) them, loves to admire them
It’s strange she’s never thought a single person was so beautiful, and that wings of all things are so… incredible in her life. And yet, here she is, admiring your wings for the 17th time that day

Synopsis: s/o with scars
Warnings: scars, and not proofread
Game/ fandom: genshin impact
Characters: ayaka, hu tao, and Ei
Pronouns for reader: gender neutral/ not mentioned
A/n: sorry for getting to this late, hope you don’t mind it Olive Garden 🥺🫒
— ayaka —
For whatever reason you have scars ayaka wants to hear it, if you’re willing to share of course. If it’s because of past fights, she wants to hear all your stories!
Specifically will kiss the scars on your arms, shoulders, and hands. Anywhere else and she’ll get super nervous.
Thinks you look intimidating, but super attractive with scars. She knows their bad, and that they definitely hurt… I mean they’re scars. But thinks they’re attractive.
— hu tao —
Probably is like “did you almost die from this one?” And points at a random scar. This happens everyday, even if she’s asked about all your scars.
Definitely knows where all your scars are, just cause she likes examining them. Thinks they look pretty.
Speaking of her thinking they look pretty, she will tell you that everyday. You could be cuddling and she’ll find a random scar on your chest and be like, “I like your scars. They look really pretty. Make you look prettier than you already are.” And then she’ll fall asleep. While you’re like •V• “ok.”
— Ei —
Like hu tao she knows where all your scars are
Will specifically kiss the scars in your tummy, back, and thighs. It’s her way of trying to fluster you.
I think she has a few scars herself, and is kinda self conscious about them, she thinks it’s dumb cause you look so beautiful with scars, and I mean… they’re just scars.
Definitely comes behind you to back hug you, and kisses any scars on your shoulder, moving your hair out of the way if your hair covers them.
Hello-could I request for a reader who’s like Albedo-like they’re smart and wanting to understand the world around them but they’re quite shy and tends to be bad at expressing their feelings who feels comfortable being themselves around their S/O(Yoimiya,Lisa,Xingqiu and Ayaka)? Take your time with this request hope I didn’t ask too much with it-take care :)
Characters: Yoimiya, Lisa, Xinqiu, Ayaka
Warnings: none
A/n: Yes! I’m going to be honest I blew through Albedo’s story quest, but like I don’t think that will be much of a problem during the prompt.
• Yoimiya thought your studies were interesting despite you never really talking about it in general. She didn’t know what was going on but she was curious nonetheless because it was important to someone she cares about.
• Yoimiya tried to break your shy demeanor around her by chatting a lot. She would try and understand your experiments, trying to make sense of them in her head. If you ever did share a concept with her she’d compare it to the thing she knew best, “Oo oo oo I get it, so like how a firework does this right?”
• When you finally start to crack out of your shell Yoimiya couldn’t be more supportive of you, listening to your tangents about future experiments you want to perform and results of already tested ones. You always support and listen to her talk of fireworks so it wouldn’t kill to hear about yours even if she didn’t know what was happening.
Yoimiya knew you were excellent at what you did, and when she asked you for a formula for a specific firework idea she had you were overjoyed. Not visibly, but mentally you were jumping up and down when she asked for your assistance.
When you finished you showed Yoimiya your blueprints, “So this is why you have to use Agnidus agate over Varunada Lazurite, the concoction of this element with your…” you paused for a minute, the life in your voice dying. “You know what never mind it’s okay the logistics of it don’t really matter.”
“No, please continue, I was listening.” For such a dense hardheaded girl you would expect her to just zone out during explanations. But you could tell Yoimiya’s body language that she was far from your initial assumptions.
“See, I knew you were just shy,” Yoimiya said after you concluded your lecture.
“Huh?”
“You never used to even bother explaining your research to me. I’m glad though, I’ll take it as that you trust me more, and nothing could make me happier.” She giggled gleefully.
• Lisa is a smarty pants being one of Sumeru’s smartest, you didn’t even have to talk in order for her to know what you were studying. Just one glance and she knew the concept of whatever you were planning.
• She offered to help once and you accepted but during the actual experiment, she ended up just watching because you were too shy to order her around. You were just too shy to take initiative.
• Once you opened up to Lisa she would be ecstatic. Being such a confident woman herself, she found ambition and passion sexy. So you taking charge and telling her everything would not only fascinate her but make her fall in love with you even more.
You sat down in the library, writing notes about a specific alchemy test that you never had occurred to you. Lisa dragged her hands along the backrest of your chair, “What has you writing so fast, it’s barely legible.”
“Ah, I learned that you can craft things from ash,” You continued to write, that’s all you were going to say really.
“Oh? Tell me more.” Every now and then Lisa would be more intuitive about your work, she wanted to bond with you intellectually over physically or verbally.
Normally, if it were anybody else you would just give them a simple explanation, but Lisa’s energy made you feel as if you could just unwind everything to her. You rambled for it must’ve been hours and Lisa continued to sit interested as ever. She honestly enjoyed your tangents as it was two things she loved most combined. Free knowledge, and you.
“You know I think it’s cool how you only tell me these things.” She says emphasizing your exclusivity by placing her hand atop of yours.
“W-what do you mean?”
“I noticed you don’t discuss these things with anyone else, am I wrong? You love me so much don’t you cutie?”
• Xinqiu was smart too but only book smart, not philosophical. he would always be curious about what you were doing, since he’s so young he has an unquenchable desire for knowledge of any type.
• Sometimes even trying to make you open up to him by being an absolute chatterbox. He might even pull a small prank on you in an attempt to thaw your shyness.
• When you opened up to Xingqiu he felt overjoyed. He was probably more interested in what you had to say over the fact that you’ve never talked for so long in your life to another person.
You were scribbling on a large manuscript the recipe to your latest discoveries. You were so focused you failed to realize how crazy you looked to an observer. Your body hunched back while your elbow was in an odd position for writing.
You heard a light giggle, “Wow, look at you go. What has you so worked up?” Whenever you were deep in your work Xingqiu would ask you about it. Sometimes you felt like giving him a single sentence for a response, others you could talk for hours.
Literally you probably talked for hours to him. Others would just hear blah blah blah from your mouth, but he sat beside you enthralled at whatever you had to say.
His eyes were wide and he nodded at every point you made, sometimes verbally agreeing with an mhm. Other times he would chime in and ask a question.
His pure interest in your research made you feel like you weren’t a burden. The whole reason why you were so quiet was due to the fact that others would only pretend to listen to your lectures, Xingqiu however always paid the utmost attention.
“Hm, now that’s one hot take. I remember reading something about that in a book I had once picked up. Mind sharing more?”
• Ayaka was politically smart, she knew how to strategize. But your type of smart always interested her. She thought people who studied philosophies were always so admirable because they’re quite literally stepping into the unknown about their already mysterious world.
• Ayaka would just be kind and patient with you, she knew you were shy so she wouldn’t force anything from you. In fact, she was shy too. The only parallel was that whenever you two were together she would take the silence as comfortable, but you thought it was awkward.
• Ayaka was a good listener, she would let you ramble about your studies for hours without interruption and actually show moderate interest despite her lack of understanding. You appreciated that the most from her because you felt like it wasn’t a one-sided conversation.
Ayaka and you went on a gentle evening stroll outside in Chinju forest, she clung to your arm as you walked with the Shirasagi Himegimi. “Do you know why that happens?” She pointed your attention to two onikabuto beetles fighting on a nearby branch.
Occasionally Ayaka would ask questions pertaining to the world, they were always things that were ordinary that others wouldn’t normally think twice about. She would rely on you for all the answers.
You explained the natural behavior of the beetles, originally you were just going to describe why they were fighting. Then Ayaka asked you a question, which led to you describing the entire life cycle and everything in between about an onikabuto.
Ayaka’s curiosity was seemingly never-ending. And you served as a pool of knowledge that she dipped her feet in so comfortably. You too enjoyed explaining the philosophies of life.
“Wow- you know I never thought about it that way.” She clung tighter to your arm “You should talk more, it suits you.”
on a sunny day — amber
pairing: amber/gn!reader (romantic)
category: bittersweet + modern!au + falling out of love + implied breaking up
a little summary: it’s a little bit sad when you think the one that would stay by your side forever turns out to be the one to leave.
note: @xiaophobic happy birthday, here is ur angst<3 !!
love is a fragile feeling.
amber should’ve definitely known that by now. of course she should. one might compare it to a flower that you grow and take care of and then it blooms beautifully, but the moment you start to neglect it, it slowly starts to die.
she wasn’t really expecting it to end like this — hell, she wasn’t expecting your relationship to end at all. but now you’re here, standing in front of her and she feels like she’s falling. you still look as beautiful as always, yet there is a gentle sorrow swimming in your eyes and she knows you want to say you’re sorry.
“don’t say you’re sorry,” she whispers, her voice cracking, “don’t say you’re sorry for doing what’s the best for you. don’t be sorry for putting your well-being first,” she says.
she’s still looking out for you. of course she is. you guess some things never change, but a part of you wants her to scream at you. wants her to be angry.
you’re sorry. you’re sorry for falling out of love, because you tried so hard. you’re so sorry, because you don’t know why it happened.
the question is, is there any way to keep the flower alive forever? of course there isn’t — it’s not possible. every one of them will wilt sooner or later, no matter how hard you try and care for it. does that mean there isn’t any kind of love that would stay till the end?
perhaps there is — amber desperately wants to believe there is. there has to be. she wants to hold onto that thought, that maybe it just wasn’t the right time. maybe, just maybe, it could’ve worked out in another universe. or maybe even in a couple of years. but not now. she knows it’s not gonna work out.
“so... that’s it, huh?” she laughs quietly. there is a kind of pain that in that sound that tears your heart apart. you love her, you still do — but it’s not the kind of love it was before.
there is no use in trying to force a flower to bloom again when it already wilted.
she’ll miss you more than anything. of course she will, but, if that makes you happier, she supposes she’s a little bit happy too. no matter how much it will hurt.

I love your fatui! reader x genshin really tugged on my heartstrings right there.
if it's alright can i ask for a continuation for keqing? 👉🏻👈🏻 like the two of them inevitably have to fight each other ft. other fatui and keqing gets overwhelmed so the reader ultimately betrays her peers and gets gravely injured (i live for the angst-hurt/comfort)
again thank you for writing this it was definitely a fun read 😊
Thank you so much, I really enjoyed writing it as hopefully I'll do more for other characters! I love continuations so I was so happy to write this. I also apologize for not getting this out sooner as I had this in the works with a few other things; however, a couple of personal things came up. But that aside I do hope you enjoy this as I hope you don't mind that I did a hybrid of scenario/fic.
Keqing was asked to go investigate the suspicious activity that was going on near the entrance of the mines with only the mention that it is possibly involving the Fatui. On her travels to get to the location of course her mind had wondered to what she’d possibly find; then the thought of you popped into her head.
It had been so long… Maybe a couple of months since she last saw you since she cut ties after finding out you were with the enemy. There couldn’t be a possibility that you were still in Liyue after the whole incident that had taken place right, she didn’t want to worry about coming to come face to face when the pain and the memories of that day was still very fresh in Keqing’s head
Whatever or whoever was seemingly up to no good, Keqing’s resolve to keep all of Liyue and Liyue Harbor safe stayed strong. Upon arrival so far there had not been a soul in her sights, but of course continued to look around to see if she could find any signs of evidence that people were there. It was after a while of searching that Keqing walked up a couple of stairs until she heard a voice talking. She only saw two figures, one kneeling before the standing figure
“Boss, the rubble that’s blocking the entryway to the Chasm is far greater than initially suspected… It may take us longer to clear it all out,” the masked agent kneeling said. Keqing’s eyes widened at the new information as holding her sword in hand she rushed over to put a stop to the Fatui’s plans. “Stop right there,” she shouted getting both the agents attention; however, the kneeling agent was the only one who jumped up and looked at her
“Leave this to me, get back to the others and get the job done,” the other figure spoke as at that moment she knew right away it was you. When it was just the two of them Keqing’s hold on her sword loosened as she watched as the hood was pulled off. “Of all the people that could have been sent it had to be you… I really wish this wasn’t how we met again,” you said with a small sigh fully turned to face her removing your mask revealing the glimmer of the eyes Keqing had fallen in love with
“What’s the meaning of all of this (Y/n),” she asked as she was mad, she should be mad yet her heart betrayed her as it raced at the sight of you. “Unfortunately that’s classified information,” was all you spoke having a soft expression on your face before you summoned your weapon. “I’d much rather not fight you but knowing you, you just won’t simply walk away… So you give me no other choice.”
The fight between you two was fast as flashes of your elements clashed together blow for blow. The sounds of metals clashing and striking one another till eventually you both skidded apart from each other heavily breathing, small nicks and tears in clothing. The brief moment of the wind passing through before Keqing sprinted forward attacking again.
“You’re a traitor! A Lair,” Keqing shouted, striking her sword at (Y/n) who was simply blocking and staying on the defensive side. “You have every right to be angry with me; I’m sorry I didn’t tell you the truth. I knew if I did you wouldn’t give me the chance to explain, but please believe me when I say that I dated you because I loved you; I wasn’t trying to use you,” You further said blocking the barrage of attacks. Keqing gritted her teeth as she felt the ache of her chest; how could she believe anything you said, for all she knew you were simply trying to sweet talk her. “How can I believe you when you told them everything that I told you and everything that was in the Jade Chamber,” She shouted angrily, swinging her blade.
Her words of her assumptions of what you possibly did brought a sharp pain to your chest; instead of using your weapon to stop her attack you grabbed the blade by the hand; the small pain of the blade cutting into the skin causing blood to seep out. Looking at her with a hurt expression you looked Keqing in her purple eyes as she was staring back with a shocked expression by your actions. “You-you really think I’d stoop that low to tell the Fatui all the things you’ve told me about and what was in the Jade Chamber? I never told them anything; I might be working for them, but I’ve kept all of our conversations and that of the Chamber to myself this whole time,” You said, causing Keqing to freeze at your words in complete bewilderment. Though before any more words could be exchanged during your fight, the sound of a gun being shot, the two of you jumped back to watch a bullet engulfed in flames hit the dirt of where the two of you just were.
The other members had suddenly appeared shooting attacks as one of the Vanguards charged Keqing. Panic started to slowly overtake you as you had to watch Keqing fight off the others. “What are you all doing?! I told you to get the job done didn’t I,” You shouted trying to get them to back down, but it didn’t seem to be working. “We’ll make quick work of this one,” The Bracer said, aiming his gun to fire another round. Glancing back to Keqing it was clear she was doing her best to at most keep up and dodge the enemies attacks. In this crucial moment there was a decision to be made: to either walk away and let the others continue the fight and simply pray Keqing would flee or betray the Fatui in order to save the woman you still very much loved. Finally coming to your decision you first attacked the bracer to get him out of the way before running over to handle the rest. Getting knocked down Keqing was doing her best to get right back up, but only managed to sit herself up; her attention now on the electro vanguard who’s hammer was up in the air about to come down on her. Closing her eyes she waited for the impact… However after not feeling anything she opened her eyes only for them to widen at the scene before her; there you stood your weapon blocking the hammer before managing to push the tall man back.
“Who do you all think you are?! How dare you go against my orders like a bunch of morons,” You shouted angrily as though she couldn’t see the look on your face, she could only imagine how mad you were. “For your unacceptable behavior you all will face punishment,” you now spoke in a much lower tone, your vision surprisingly enough started to change to a different color before you charged at the other members of the Fatui. It still almost felt unreal of the turn of events that have taken place yet here you were fighting your own peers to protect her, the feeling of guilt creeping in on how she treated you. The fight dragged on a while longer until the last remaining members fled while they could, leaving you to stand by yourself with the few bodies that laid on the ground. You turned around to look over to Keqing to check on her and to your relief she wasn’t hurt too much. “You okay,” you asked, feeling your body grow heavy and tired from the wounds you’ve sustained. Blinking she snapped out of her trance and nodded her head uttering a small yes. “That’s… Good,” you replied smiling before falling over.
“(Y/n),” Keqing shouted, scurrying up to get to you, carefully turning you over gasping at the sight of how grave your injuries were. “Hey! Hey,” she loudly said cupping the side of your face to make you look at her as a flurry of mixed emotions were going on. “What’s the big idea huh?! What do you think you were doing,” she asked sternly as it pained her to see you in such a horrible condition. A weak laugh came out as you reached up a hand to overlap the one holding the side of your face running a thumb over her hand in a comforting manner. “I was pro-tecting you of… Course,” you answered before a hard cough briefly stopping you from talking. “It-it’s okay if you still… Hate me, but I hope that… At least this makes up… For all the bad I’ve done,” you further spoke, wincing when trying to breathe. Tears falling, Keqing feeling the weight of your words hit her heart hard, regretting how cruel she was. The rain started to fall, Keqing couldn’t just mope around and let you die; putting her strong urge to cry aside, she carefully picked up your body and made a run back to the harbor as hopefully Dr. Baizhu would be able to help.
Who knew how long you had been out for, though much to your surprise you were actually alive but how? The sight of an unfamiliar ceiling was the first thing you saw before you tried to move to sit up to further investigate your surroundings. “Don’t you dare try to move, you’ll only reopen your wounds,” the stern voice of Keqing rang in your ears as looking over she was now right beside you causing a small strained laugh out of you. “How could you be laughing, you could have died,” She said now sitting on the edge as she had a sad expression on her face. “Hehe sorry, sorry… But really if it meant that I knew you were safe I was well prepared to die,” You answered as suddenly Keqing was now gently hugging you and the soft sound of her crying reached your ears. “You idiot, you can’t go dying on me! I’m sorry, I’m so sorry for how cruel I was to you and all those harsh things I said to you. I love you so don’t try throwing your life away for me!” she spoke, carefully hugging you firmer. It brought a relief to you to hear that she still loved you so in return you put a hand on her back and rubbed it in a comforting manner. “It’s alright I never held it against you, though if it makes you feel better then I forgive you… I will always protect you, you’re the love of my life,” you responded with a soft smile. Having begun the mending of your relationship you two shared a short kiss before Keqing brought over some food and medicine for you to take; it would take time for you to get better, but at least you were still alive.
Can you imagine how cute and wholesome it would be if you’re dating Jean. One night when you two are latched onto one another cuddling. You hear the door open, and it’s Klee scared (from some story Kaeya probably told her) asking if she can sleep with you and Jean tonight.
You let Klee snuggle between the two of you and Jean both share a chaste kiss before kissing Klee’s forehead and ruffling her hair saying something like. ‘Don’t worry sweet girl. Jean’s the scariest there is. No monsters will get you while she’s around.’ That joke may get you a soft punch in the shoulder from our resident grand master
Jean my beloved,,, I’m happy I got a request for her! And as both an Albedo and Jean stan I’m experienced with Klee lmao
I’m back and gayer than ever HDHFHFHGHF forgive me I’ve been DEAD but in other news I’m on a weird live action kick which is incredibly strange I’m scared
You and Jean were enjoying your sleep (a rarity since your darling works so hard all the time, often later into the night than you would prefer) when suddenly, the door was cracked open with a creak.
You’re the first to be awakened. You rub your eyes, rolling over to see what it was that had woken you up.
To your surprise, it’s Klee, Dodoco clutched in her hands and eyes glassy with tears.
You scramble out of bed and come over to her, kneeling to get a better look at her face.
“Klee, sweetie, what’s wrong? Why are you crying?”
“Kaeya told me a really scary story, and I couldn’t sleep.” She sniffled. “Big brother Albedo is working on the mountain… he can’t tuck me in.”
“Don’t worry, sweetheart. You can sleep with Jean and I tonight.”
“Really?”
“Of course.”
You help her up onto the bed, and she quickly nestles into the soft sheets. After you pull the blanket up over her, Jean finally awakens.
“Klee?”
“She couldn’t sleep.”
“Ah, I see.”
Jean moved a little closer as you climbed back into bed, the two of you surrounding Klee in a warm “shield” to keep her safe from the monsters.
“Don’t worry, little one.” You chuckled. “Master Jean is the scariest there is, nothing will get you while she’s here.”
That earned you a pointed look and a sigh, but a slight smile was tugging at Jean’s lips.
Klee was asleep within moments, and not long after, Jean was as well.
“Goodnight.” You murmured, brushing a stray hair out of Jean’s face before falling asleep yourself.

With Hu Tao being the way she is, I don’t believe that would would even have the Hanahaki disease. She’s very straightforward and honest with her feelings, so you’d probably be together before you even knew it.
But let’s say that she was a little to busy with affairs from the funeral parlor, so it left little communication between you two.
You knew you always had a crush on her, however you never knew if she liked you back.
When you coughed up that first silk flower petal, you didn’t know what it was at first. You have to consult Zhongli, who told you it was the hanahaki disease.
Hanahaki disease? There’s no way you could have contracted it. Well, the crackling silence and distance between you and Hu Tao was a telltale sign.
So what did you do? You hid it from everyone. Was that a good idea? You don’t think so anymore.
What started was a few pink petals every now and then became fully blossomed lycoris flowers clouding your esophagus brimming with plant life.
Of course, the love of your life Hu Tao was completely oblivious to what was going on. Whenever you came into the funeral parlor hands clad in silk flowers that you had just coughed up. Not knowing anything, she’d take the flowers thinking they were a fresh bouquet you had picked for her.
It would be like this for the first few month you had the disease. The only person who truly knew what was going on was Zhongli. You weren’t officially diagnosed, so he had highly advised you to see a doctor.
But what if the doctor recommended to to have the flowers removed? You didn’t want to lose feeling for Hu Tao, you truly did love her. You could continue to hide it and run the risk of dying, or just come clean and possibly face rejection.
Love is such a deceptive fleeting feeling. One fleeting enough to cause a deadly disease, and deceptive enough to have it based around flowers. Most flowers signaling love or new beginnings, signaled death in this case.
You grew to love those small moments of happiness you shared with Hu Tao. Her prankster smile and energy, and those bright ruby eyes. You had to cherish every moment like it was your last, never knowing if that was going to be it.
Hu Tao soon became wary of your worsening state. How you’d constantly break into asthmatic coughing fits so bad blood would come up. She’d sometimes see the flowers as well, but just thought you had a Dendro vision at first. How you’d become more weak and paler as the days go on.
Your body was tired. The plethora of flowers growing inside you stopped. You thought it was over, but petal haven’t had enough yet. They were insatiable and wouldn’t stop until your entire body was engulfed in deadly yet beautiful blossoms. You had to fix it, and fast.
You had planned to just tell Hu Tao about how you felt. No use prolonging the inevitable, it’s either die from embarrassment or die from the flowers. You chose the former. All was going well, you ironically had a bouquet of red roses to give to her while you asked her out.
But fate had other plans.
Before you could even greet her, you collapsed immediately. Breath thinning and state worsening, you were hospitalized. Slipping between conscious and unconscious, you couldn’t help but think that this was it. You didn’t get the chance to tell her I love you.
Hu Tao was panicking. Left oblivious to your months of pain, just for you to collapse right in front of her. She had the same problem as you, bottling up her feelings for you being afraid of rejection.
But look where that got us.
You, pale as a ghost in critical condition lying motionless in the hospital and Hu Tao standing beside holding your hand. She had hoped to every archon that you would make it out alive.
It would seem that the archons had heard her prayers, for your condition became gradually more stable. Once you could fully understand your surroundings, the doctor came in and explained what happened.
They said that you made it just in time, for if anymore time would have passed you may have not made it. A very confused Hu Tao became more uncharacteristically scared. You could have died? What happened?
The doctor then described that you had the Hanahaki disease. A rare illness that affects victims of unrequited love. She finally understood. You were just like her, afraid of rejection.
Hu Tao semi tackled you on the hospital bed, hugging you tight and whispering quiet “I love yous” in your ear. Smiling, you hugged back reciprocating the warm feelings
You continued coughing up flowers for the next week or so, but they eventually all left your system leaving you a Hanahaki survivor with a lovely girlfriend named Hu Tao.
