her drive and motivation can be almost scary at times, her dedication unmatched

The bard was truely in love he just hope nothing would go wrong in his efforts to court her

I’ve been loving reading through your toxic traits headcanons. They are great fuel for angst…which leads me to my request, a one-shot like how you did with Jean and her toxic trait if that’s okay.

A/n: hello! Thank you for requesting! I’m really proud of my most recent toxic trait headcanon, so I’m hopeful that more requests will come in like this one. I enjoyed writing it, because mmm… fuel for angst. But, hope you enjoy, and take care of yourself! Eat something if you haven’t today!

The sun shined right in your eyes as you walked across the wooden bridge. ‘I can’t believe she would do this… again.’ You thought. Making your way to the purple tree, and finding the hidden cave behind it you yelled, “kokomi!”

Startling the priestess from her slumber, she quickly looked around until she found your clearly irritated form. “Yes…?” She spoke softly, you wouldn’t be able to hear her if you were maybe a foot away. “You bailed on me again… we were supposed to have brunch together.”

Her face contorted into one of sadness and frustration. “I’m sorry.” She said flipping through a book in front of her. “I just… am running low on energy.” “oh bull shit!” You said interrupting her, and slamming your fist on one of the nearby tables.

“You always say that! And it’s…” water starts to well in your eyes as you speak “it’s getting old. I just missed you furring the war and now you can’t even spare me a minute of your time unless we’re in a situation like this.” You rubbed your eyes, and you could see kokomi sigh.

“I’m sorry, but all of this is… stressful, and you know that. Being… who I am isn’t easy and you know that” she said looking at you, sadness in her eyes. It’s so pitiful that that’s her excuse, and it’s worse that it’s a valid one at that.

You pondered for a moment, the gears in your head clearly turning. “Let’s break up.” You spoke coldly, tears running down your face. “I mean if it’s too stressful haha…” you were full on crying now, and kokomi is no better. Tears running down her face and staining her book below her.

“No… no no I don’t want that.” She said shaking her head, and standing up. “I want to be with you and I’m sorry-“ “stop it. Because I’ve heard you apologize, and make excuses too many times, so… I’m taking a break.” You said walking out of the cave as kokomi stood there, alone, with nothing more than her books. ☄️-will work even harder. She doesn’t want to “waste” time thinking about you, when she has so many things to do. Deep down, she really does miss you though. She just works harder to ignore that aching feeling of you not being with you.

Are you alright? Have you reached your destination? Are you returning? These are the questions that swirl in her head while she thinks about you, when she takes a break, or do something as mundane as eating.

She would definitely get a few days off to spend time with you. While it’s meant to be a way for her to make up for the time that you were gone, it’s also her motivation to stop thinking about you for the nth time and clear all her work for the next few days ASAP

☄️-will keep scry about you. She gets too worried, that every hour or so, she’ll keep checking on you.

She can’t help it, the outside world can be scary, and everyday she worries about whether you’ll come back to her safe and sound.

In the event that she finds you in grave danger, she’ll instantly teleport to your side, or immediately start making her way to where you are. You’re too important to her, she doesn’t want to lose you, her lover.

She will start saving so that when you get back from a long journey, she can treat you to a meal. For once.

☄️-Often at sea, she doesn’t have the time to miss you. She’s busy with her duties as captain of the Crux fleet.

The only time she has to miss you, is when she’s completely drunk, or when she has her own private time. That’s when she starts thinking about you. You can see it in the way her eyes start softening, or how she slowly becomes more silent, as she is pulled to sleep, dreaming of you.

She’ll also be looking for small trinkets to bring back to you. It’s almost subconscious at this point, but it’s a subtle sign to the entire crew that she’s missing you.

When she gets back she’ll be back to normal, but she’ll be more touchy, much to your embarrassment in public. She misses you oh so dearly, after all.
