“Would you be willing to write for female characters? If so, can i have Kokomi and Ayaka with a high energy s/o? Btw your writing is really good!”
💌 @dragonqueenofice
went with the leading four 5-star inazuma ladies for this one <3333
characters featured: ayaka, yoimiya, baal, kokomi
she’s so mellow and patient she would kinda just roll with your flow. it’s the dead of night but you wanna climb down to the beaches of her estate and collect seashells? give her a second to fix her hair and she’ll be outside
when ayaka first saw the message her attendant handed to her, she knew exactly who sent it.
“the beach, midnight, bring the biggest bag you can- we’re seashell gathering!” the message reads, “P.S.- don’t worry about your guards catching us. i’ve caught on to their friday night drinking habits! ;)”
ayaka chuckles to herself and folds the letter neatly.
“my lady? what were the contents of such a message?” her attendant asks.
ayaka shakes her head. “could you please prepare me a large bag and a coat on my dresser before i go to bed tonight?” she requests.
“of course, my lady,” the attendant replies with a bow, “are you going somewhere? i can ask a guard to escort you?”
“that’s a secret to be kept between me and the sender of this letter,” she says with a smile.
you guys are both super enthusiastic and only feed off of each other i pity any tired person around you
but nevertheless, this leads to loads of fun all the time
“[Y/N]! [Y/N]!” yoimiya squeals, “c’mon, the fireworks show is about to begin!”
“aw, but just one more round of darts!” you protest, “if i pop that gold balloon, i win that big tanuki plushie for you!”
“it’ll be there after the show!” she counters, gripping your hand, “let’s go! i have a special spot!”
with a tug, yoimiya runs up the hill of the festival venue, your kitsune mask nearly flying off your head. she runs almost too quickly for the average human, but the speed and her enthusiasm rips fits of laughter out of you as you follow your girlfriend uphill. she stops under the tree at the crest of the hill and places her hands on her hips.
“sit down, [Y/N], this is the best seat in the house!” she proclaims proudly, watching as you do as told.
“you better join me,” you tease, grabbing her hand and yanking her down so that you can lean your head on her shoulder. she wraps her arms around your head to hold you still as she places a kiss to the crown of your head.
“keep your eyes peeled, [Y/N],” yoimiya advises, “i was careful to pack extra fireworks in your favorite color.”
poor baal
it’s hard to maintain an empire of tyranny when your needy energetic s/o wants cuddles constantly 🙄🙄🙄 just girly things ig
“baal, are you almost done?” you ask from your chair in her office.
“[Y/N], i still have to finish approving these permits,” she grumbles, completing another one with a swift stroke of her brush and setting it aside. an entire stack still awaits her acknowledgment.
“aw… but i’m so needy, baal,” you coo, putting your jaw in your hands and glancing at the floor, watching your feet shuffle, “c’mon, the almighty shogun can’t take a break to give her beloved a kiss?”
“i’ll give you plenty of kisses once we go to bed,” she promises, albeit somewhat frustrated at your neediness, “but i am the ruler and that comes with more than its fair share of work.”
you stand and approach her, swinging one of your legs over her legs and sitting on her lap, her face just inches from yours. she glances up, a storm of anger brewing in her violet eyes, meeting your dopey grin. you peck a kiss to the tip of her nose and chuckle to yourself. the woman sighs and presses her lips to yours for a moment before pulling back, her expression as stony as before.
“now move,” she says, despite a dust of pink across the high points of her cheeks, “that stunt you pulled must’ve put me two documents behind schedule.”
like ayaka, she’s also pretty level-headed.
she also finds your childlike spirit absolutely adorable and has a wide variety of sweet names for you :)
“kokomi! kokomi!” you call, opening the door to the room where she drafts military plans, “while i was out exploring, i found so many sango pearls!”
the young woman glances up and smiles. “i love those!” she gasps, “i used to gather them all the time when i was little. i’m so grateful you like it here at watatsumi island, angel.”
you place your collection of pearls on her desk. “i love it here. it’s so colorful, it takes my breath away every time,” you sigh, “let’s go for a stroll! are you up for a break?”
kokomi weighs her options. “just a little one?”
you nod your head. “unless you wanna stay with me longer!”
kokomi giggles and stands. “as you wish, my love,” she weaves her delicate hand into yours and places a kiss to your cheek, “such a distraction… you truly are a challenge for my work ethic, but indeed a welcome one.”

PROMPT REQUEST SERIES requested! fluff, comfort, established relationship au
WARNINGS: none, ALSO ive tried including neopronouns in my works, hope you enjoy :))
synopsis: amber cheers you up after an all-nighter studying for your wind gliding license exam.
amber the outrider was amiably known all around mondstadt for her quirky, joyful personality. you often watched in awe as your lover leaped and soared in the skies above the anemo nation with her wind glider. yourself, in stark contrast, were not so agile in the air, having failed your gliding license exam multiple times. the dreary weather reflected your mood as you once again finished up your revision. it was embarrassing to be the partner of a wind gliding champion when you couldn’t glide yourself, you wished you could join amber on her expeditions and share the joy of gliding together.
“you didn’t stay awake all night again, did you?”, the girl sighed while shaking her head disapprovingly as she saw your miserable expression, wrapping her arms around you, swaying your bodies gently. “don’t worry about it, y/n! you already have the skill, just believe in yourself a little.”. you lifted your head to look up at her. as much as you wanted to have a little bit of hope, this same order of events was a continuous thing for you, so the thought of even getting within arm’s reach of your license seemed impossible.
coaxing you out of your melancholy, you walked with amber through the city, your hands holding one another tightly while the cool breeze brushed your skin. “why don’t we go get some food, hm? i hate to see you so down on yourself.”, amber’s posture perked up as you neared the good hunter. you weren’t in much of an eating mood, but judging by how your lover’s free hand hovered over her stomach, with her eyes beaming at the sight of the restaurant’s menu, you had no other option than to agree. plus, a much needed energy booster seemed delightful right now, the bags under your eyes vouching for you on it.
“ah, hello amber, y/n!” sara, the waitress of the restaurant waved as you both graced the desk. “what’ll it be today then?”. you both placed your orders - though you opted for a rather small meal - and then headed over for a table to sit at together.
sitting opposite you, amber reached over to grab your hand, caressing it gently as if it were her most prized possession. placing a kiss on your knuckles, she spoke softly, “don’t dwell on the exam today, i want to see my love’s beautiful smile!”. her lips lingered on your skin momentarily, inviting a warm, fuzzy feeling of love to swell in your heart. you tried to hold back the smile threatening your lips; despite whatever bad mood you were in, amber could always melt away the sadness just by being with you. “awww! there xe is!”, she cooed as your face lit up.
your sappy exchange was soon interrupted though, as sara arrived at your table with your food, amber practically salivating as the dishes were placed in front of you both. “wow, if i didn’t know you, i’d think you were more in love with that steak than you are with me.”, you teased, getting a playful kick from under the table.

inazuma version here
includes: diluc, amber, albedo, jean
diluc was not a night owl. it wasn’t his thing, he liked to be fully rested; especially with you by his side. but the night before you left to sumeru for business reasons, you were up with diluc until the sun rose just talking.
“i have to leave in a few hours,” you chuckle, tracing the rays of sun that illuminated diluc’s figure in the bed next to you.
he softly groans and rolls over to look out the window across the room. “oh… i didn’t realize the sun had come up. how rude of me to keep you up all night before such an important day…”
“no, i… i enjoyed it. even though i think you dozed off a few times.”
diluc saw you off and had people accompany you to sumeru, and was left with a strange, empty feeling in his chest. it was heavy, overwhelming.
how dramatic. he thinks. they’re only going to be gone a few months.
months. at first, it didn’t feel too horribly long to diluc. but with you gone, time seemed to slow down, going at a snail’s pace. on week 2 without you, he could’ve sworn it had been a month. it was hard to focus on his work. all he wanted to do was write to you and see how you were doing.
and when the day of your scheduled return came, diluc couldn’t shake the nervous feeling he felt. it felt as if he was going to see you for the first time. he was so excited he could barely contain it.
“well, master diluc looks awfully happy today.” you say, walking to where he stands outside the winery.
diluc nearly chokes on his grape juice, barely catching the glass in time when he hears your voice. “i wasn’t expecting to see you just yet,” he says, coughing to clear his voice. “welcome back, my love.”
if you ever need a helping hand, a shoulder to cry on, or just someone to listen to you rant, amber was the one who was there for you. she was one of the most important people in your life, and it made leaving mondstadt so much harder. you originally stopped in the nation just to rest for a bit before continuing your journey to liyue, but after meeting amber, you kept delaying your travels. the days leading up to your departure were melancholy. amber was the same giggly and bubbly girl you knew, but you always saw how her smile faded when she remembered that you’d be leaving soon.
“i promise, i’ll be back someday. and i’ll never leave again.”
your words stayed in amber’s head. she heard them every day, every time she thought of you. she prayed every night that you’d arrive back the next morning, but it felt as if you never would. and her prayers eventually stopped.
just for you to show back up the next morning.
as she was hanging up flyers around the town, she heard someone call out for her.
“hm? do you need me for something? i can help you right after i — (y/n)?” after realizing it was you, she threw your arms around you, nearly throwing you off balance. “you’re back? already?”
“i couldn’t stand to be away a second longer than i had to,” you admit. “things just weren’t the same without you…”
albedo hadn’t realized how important you were in his life until you left. he felt empty. he’d turn to talk to you just to realize that you were still gone more times than he’d like to admit. the bed he sleeps in feels so empty without you, and he feels as if it’s much too big for one person.
being able to write to you was nice, but it wasn’t enough. he so badly wanted to be with you again, hold you, hear your voice.
but that was selfish. he knew that all too well, so he often told himself to be patient. you’d be back soon, and if you ever had to leave again, albedo would surely be by your side.
the shock on his face when he saw you in his lab when he returned from a sudden, and quite frankly, pointless meeting with the knights was priceless. it made sense now why he was called down to the city so suddenly.
wordlessly, albedo walks to where you stand and takes
you into his arms, sighing. “i didn’t know you’d be arriving today… i would’ve made plans if i did. i would have made your favorite food and we—“
“shh,” you shush him. “just having you here is more than enough for me.”
despite writing to and receiving letters from you, jean couldn’t seem to fill the hole in her heart that you took when you left. she felt so selfish wishing that you’d come back when you were off doing bigger and better things that would help you achieve your goals.
and somehow, the people of mondstadt had figured out that you had returned to the nation before jean did. and as soon as she learned that, she made a b-line straight to where she knew she’d find you.
windrise, where the wind was the most refreshing. the place where you had spent many afternoons with jean after being able to drag her out of her office. she made her way to where you stood by the statue of the seven.
“(y/n)…” she says softly. “why didn’t you tell me you were coming back so soon?”
you grin. “i wanted it to be a surprise.”
she chuckles, pushing a loose strand of blonde hair behind her ear. her cheeks are flushed as she’s overcome with emotion. “i missed you.” is all she can say as she wraps her arms around you, hoping she’ll never have to let you go again.

your green-haired lover, creeping up behind you after a long day's work, indescribably hungry for your touch. her lanky arms snuck their way around your waist, as she purred a content hum into your red ear. her slightly chapped lips began to place soft and tender kisses onto your soft skin, the hot breath leaving her throat fanning onto you. her grip on your waist only became tighter, until she suddenly spun you around, pinning you against the nearby wall. sneaking her lips up to your ear, she giggled into the body part before bringing her face down to your neck. she nuzzled her cute little face into it, slowly beginning to press sloppy and loving kisses upon the tender skin. your cute little whimpers only encouraged more from her, as your hands became lost in her minty locks. heavy pants were leaving you, as you squirmed in her arms, desperate for more. she slowly moved her clothed knee between your legs...eager for a long-lasting night.
includes: kazuha, yoimiya, thoma, and raiden shogun
warnings: mentions of death / some 2.1 spoilers
kazuha followed a routine whenever he ended up in inazuma. 1. try to hide from everyone 2. find gorou at the military base so he could lead him to you. that was it. and that’s exactly what he did, although this time, he could almost sense that something was wrong. everyone’s eyes landed on him as he walked past them. a heavy rain fell from the dark sky that was illuminated with strong lightning. he could practically see gorou’s heart fall as the samurai made his way closer to him.
prepare for the worst, hope for the best.
“i’m sorry, kazuha.” gorou begins.
kazuha accepts it. he doesn’t need gorou to elaborate, but he does anyways.
“i tried to save them… we all did, i promise… but their injuries were fatal.” gorou explains softly.
kazuha nods. “of course. thank you for trying to save them.”
gorou has another soldier lead kazuha to where you’d been laid to rest — a shabby headstone had been made out of wood that was already getting worn down from the storms of inazuma. it makes kazuha sick. you deserved so much better. he kneels by your grave with a sad smile, running his fingers across the headstone.
he curses at himself for not preparing for this. he knows that once it sinks in that you’re gone, it will leave him with a broken heart that would be nearly impossible to mend.
he sighs. “i’m sorry, my dear. in another life, perhaps.”
after receiving the news, yoimiya just couldn’t wrap her head around it. you were really gone? but you promised to come home as soon as you could. why had things turned out this way?
she spent most of her time trying to grieve as comfortably as possible, but she still had work to do. it made it so much harder to deal with.
after a day at work, she returned home and went to the supply room she had left an important firework in, one she made to set off in the sky upon your return. she wanted to throw it away, destroy it so she’d never had to look at it again and think of you and what had been taken away from you.
but she knew that wasn’t what you would want her to do. so she picked it up and took it out to the beach where she set it off, the sky illuminating in your favorite colors. she sits on the ground and finally cries. she cries as if you’ll be there to soothe her, and she yearned for the familiar feeling of your arms around her.
“i miss you so much already, (y/n)… i hope the fireworks look pretty where you are.”
thoma patiently waited for your letters from the military base every week. if he couldn’t hear your voice, seeing your familiar handwriting recounting the past week was the second best thing.
he never even considered the fact there could be a day that letter would never arrive. once handed the envelope, he tears into it to read it as soon as he can, so he can respond as soon as he can.
his smile begins to fade as he realizes the handwriting in the contents of the envelope was not yours. it was from sangonomiya kokomi herself, informing (and profusely apologizing to) thoma that you had been fatally wounded in battle.
“their death has been a huge hit to our army’s morale, and they will be missed. i simply cannot apologize enough for having to tell you this way, and i will keep you in my prayers.”
thoma simply folds the letter back up and sets it aside. taorumaru sniffs it and turns his head back to thoma before whimpering and laying down.
it’s as if he knows what’s happened, thoma thinks.
he can feel tears rushing to his eyes, and a sob escape his lips. “why them… why did it have to be them?”
when they traveler suggested a walk around inazuma to inspire some change, ei knew exactly where she wanted to go. to visit you. it had been far too long since she last saw you before beginning her meditation in the plane of euthymia.
“who?” paimon questions. “i don’t think paimon’s met that person here, but there’s no harm in looking, right?”
ei wasn’t worried. “of course. although inazuma looks different, i know just where to find them.”
she walked alongside the traveler to grand narukami shrine, asking the shrine maidens where you were. one of them gave her an uneasy look before gently explaining that you had become a soldier and had unfortunately died in battle.
“oh… alright. thank you for informing me.” she nods before turning on her heels and immediately leaving.
paimon and the traveler leave the shrine with her — she had gone completely silent, deep in thought.
“um, ei? are you alright?” paimon asks.
“i’m fine.” ei says, stopping in her tracks. “i just can’t help but wonder… did they die… because of my actions?”
characters; Kazuha, Thoma, Scaramouche, Ayaka, Kokomi, Hu Tao
Kazuha
His heart goes crazy when you remember his flowery musings. Usually, people would forget his haikus and pass them off as just wierd mutterings, but hearing you tell him that the mountains of liyue reminded you of that one haiku that even he had forgotten weeks ago, made him feel appreciated and more encouraged to make even more haikus, just for you.
Thoma
When you make him food after a hard day's work. You might only think of it as a way to reward him for working all day, but the taste of your cooking every once in a while never fails to make him feel like a child getting his favourite food for lunch. The fact that you had gotten him this giddy feels like a mystery to him. He might as well put a ring on your finger to get your homemade food everyday.
Scaramouche
You always staying calm despite his rough attitude really gets him sometimes. Although you're quite a patient person, you also aren't afraid to talk back when he goes too far. The thought of you being his so-called 'anchor' makes him feel weak, but he knows that it wasn't your intention, and it's that you simply just cared for him. And he's grateful for that. Huh? No he's not blushing...!
Ayaka
The happiness on her face when you bring her trinkets from all around teyvat is visible to anyone in the room. But the moment you leave the Kamisato quarters, her face will redden deliberately by each passing second. These gifts are hard evidence that you constantly thought about her during your journey. This will get her rolling in her bed at night, for sure.
Kokomi
Hearing your soothing voice while you read out her favourite books outloud while she's resting is one of her most favourite moments shared with you. Seeing you do the tedious task of reading just for her makes her very happy indeed. She'd faint out of embarrassment if you ever find out about how obsessed she is with you though.
Hu Tao
She really loves it when you smile, especially when it's because of her. She makes it her daily goal to make you laugh with her giddiness. Whether it'd be jokes or pranks, as long as she gets to hear your melodic laughter, nothing else matters. She just can't get enough of the feeling of her fluttering heart. It's very addicting, she thinks. Just like you. *wink wink*
HUGS MAKE EVERYTHING BETTER.
characters: mona, hu tao, fischl.
anon said: Hello! May I request Mona, Hu Tao, and Fischl with an s/o who asks for a hug when they're upset? Gender neutral reader, please! :)
warnings: reader having a bad day.
love note: sometimes you just need hug, and that's okay! I know these sweeties would give amazing hugs and help you feel better. I hope you all enjoy!
ੈ♡‧➝ MONA
What? Of course Mona didn't use her astrology powers to see how your day would go, that would be... ridiculous... ahem, she's already got open arms when you enter the home!
Her hugs are gentle, and make you feel at peace, calming your racing heart and watering eyes.
She'll kiss the top of your head/cheek/wherever she can, and squeeze you for a second. She'll hug you for as long as you need, whether it be five seconds or five hours.
You trudge through the door, head hung low and heart heavy with sorrow from the long, terrible day you had. You sniffle, trying hard not to cry. "Mona, could I have a hug?" You ask, lifting your head and seeing she's already got her arms open. You relax a bit already, walking over and falling into her embrace. "How'd you know?"
"I know everything," She states matter-of-factly, her heart sinking as you bury your face into the crook of her neck. "Well, almost everything... Do you want to talk about it?" She asked, and you shake your head, hugging her tighter.
"No," you mumble, "can we just stay here, like this, for a little longer?" Mona hums, pressing a kiss to your temple.
"Of course, my starlight." She whispers against your temple, before tightening her hug. She rubs small circles into your back, allowing you to cry if you need— it's not healthy to hold in your emotions, Mona let you know this once before, so if you need to cry she hopes you'll allow yourself to do so.
At some point you pull away, sniffling and smiling weakly. "Thank you, Mona." You take her hands and a pink hue dusts her cheeks. "Let's go to bed now," Mona agrees, following you to the bedroom. She makes sure to cuddle you the entire night, and her mind doesn't cease until she's planned out tomorrow— she plans on taking you out on a cute date.
ੈ♡‧➝ FISCHL
Fischl will frown when she notices your saddened mood, and when you ask for a hug? She'll agree instantly (a soft blush on her features as she holds you)!
Her hugs are tight, nearly breath-takingly so! She'll apologize if she notices and loosen her grip, but her hugs are still so tight, and protective, you'll definitely feel safe in her arms!
Fischl isn't sure what happened, and she won't push you to tell her, but if you want to then she'll be there to listen— she knows what it's like when people don't listen, so she's always ready to lend a listening ear!
"Fischl?" Your voice is quiet, nearly inaudible, but she hears and turns around, a giant smile at seeing you however it's quick to fade when she sees your head hanging and a troubled look on your face. "Could you... could you hug me?"
Her eyes widen, a small pink blush taking place on her cheeks. A hug? From her? She takes quick strides to where you are and hugs you tightly, wrapping her arms around you and squeezing warmly. "You seem troubled, but worry for naught, for I, Fischl, Prinzessin der Verurteilung, am but a great listener, for if thou shall need to speak of such troubles, I will lend thou an ear."
"I don't really wanna talk about it right now, is it okay if we just hug a bit longer?" She nods meekly, her grip tightening but you don't mind, it feels warm and safe, and it's not too suffocating this time! You chuckle at the thought of past hugs with Fischl, your worries slowly fading away after hugging her and remembering better times.
She smiles softly at your little laugh, although she doesn't ask what brought it upon you, instead she remains hugging you until you pull away and smile gently at her, although she can still something is troubling you, she can tell it's less so thanks to the affection. "Thank you, Fischl."
"But of course, it shan't do for me to leave you in such a state! Thou hast my fullest attention!" She puts her hand over her heart, an earnest and sincere look in her eyes. She doesn't plan on leaving your side till she knows for a fact that you're back to your usual self.
ੈ♡‧➝ HU TAO
Hu Tao won't notice that you're upset at first, in her usual playful attitude until your voice cracks as you ask for a hug, no longer able to keep up pretending to be fine.
Her hugs are so warm, and she has a hard time letting go once she's started hugging you! She won't let go until she knows you're feeling better, she can't stand someone so close to her feeling like this!
Hu Tao will try and crack jokes to also try and get your mind off of whatever is upsetting you, although how affective they are depends on your sense of humor!
Hu Tao laughed at her own joke, when she stopped, noticing you were no longer by her side. "Huh? Y/n, what are you doing?" She turned around to see you standing there, unable to meet her eyes although she could see tears glistening in yours and she felt a pang of guilt for not noticing earlier. "Ah, is everything okay?"
"Hu Tao... Can you hug m-" You don't even finish your sentence, her arms wrapped around you tightly, she nearly knocking you both over but instead twirling. You sniffle, and if you need to cry, she allows you, not saying a word as you two hug.
She'll begin cooing, pulling away and looking you in the eyes, cupping your cheeks. "What's wrong? Did something happen— should I get the funeral parlor a new customer?" You chuckle, shaking your head and wiping at your eyes.
"No, I just... it's been a long day," You mumble, deciding to tell her later what was upsetting you, knowing if you tell her now you'll only grow more upset and possibly start crying. "Can we go home? I'm a bit tired."
"Of course!" She intertwines her fingers with yours, pressing a cheeky kiss to your hand before heading towards the shared home. She keeps checking on you, and trying to tell jokes; some of them land, others not exactly, but either way, you're happy you've got the jokester with you, to help lighten your mood!

• After Hu Tao left the room you couldn’t help but feel a little off. Like something was horribly wrong. You and Hu Tao had been upset at each other before, but never like this. You two almost always resolved your differences calmly and even I daresay cheerfully.
• You almost felt anger towards her as, fearing this was a sign that your relationship would soon begin to fail. Or maybe you were just pessimistic and this was your way of coping with confusion.
• Hu Tao felt a nasty taste in her mouth after saying those mean things to you. Safe to say she regretted how she treated you, it wasn’t your fault that she had a bad day. In fact, she had just chased away her only healthy comfort mechanism.
You looked down at the spare mora Hu Tao left on the table, you were so stiff you didn’t know how to react. You even lost your appetite, clueless as to why she was even acting that way in the first place. Looking downcast, you left your house wanting to avoid Hu Tao altogether. Tempted to slam the door behind you in a tantrum to audibly show your anger, but you resisted the urge.
You decided you’d stay out for the night, doing what exactly? You didn’t know yourself, you wandered aimlessly. After about an hour of dragging your feet, you found yourself right outside the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor. The eerie vibe of the whole place gave you the shivers, maybe something happened here that you didn’t know about, you thought. Maybe that’s why Hu Tao wasn’t acting right.
You started to feel a little sympathetic, overlooking the fact that your girlfriend quite literally worked at a funeral parlor. Regardless of how much she enjoyed it, she was still human, and she could feel saddened too. You heard footsteps approach from behind you. Looking you saw Hu Tao, looking at her feet in shame, her fists in a ball. “I’m sorry,” she muttered quietly.
You’ve never seen her so ashamed, even when you two apologized usually it would be lighthearted and you’d both giggle together, slowly forgiving each other. But right now, she knew her anger was misguided and felt ashamed. “I’m sorry... for yelling at you.” She was at a low whisper now, you could barely hear her.
Even if the mood was a little off, you couldn’t be more grateful. All you wanted to hear was Hu Tao apologize, and then everything would be okay again. You would feel okay again because everything was in place. You walked towards her, pulling her into a mutual hug. You felt her shake a little in your hold. “I’m sorry Hu Tao,” You apologized as well. You didn’t want her to feel alone, so you reassured her of your presence.
• It was late when Lisa arrived home that night, you had to guess maybe around midnight. You were already tucked into bed hoping she’d be in a better mood. You had even left out a bowl of leftover dinner you had cooked earlier that night.
• Even though you felt as if she had overreacted, you knew how important those books were to Lisa. You felt as if even though it was a single page you had bent, you were careless. You left out an apology dinner, in hopes it would lift her spirits.
• Lisa however, was still irritable as ever when she came home. Nothing could recover the books that were destroyed that day. She almost forgot she had snapped on you because she was so distracted by the discrepancies committed against the library.
Lisa took off her large hat, hanging it on the coat rack as she loudly walked through the door. She was so loud in fact, she had woken you up from your sleep, but you were all too tired to react. You were even further encouraged to feign sleep since you remembered she was cranky that day. You heard her walk through the kitchen and open the fridge to find nothing.
She groaned loudly until she turned around to find a bowl of vegetable soup on the counter. It was still steaming fresh of taste. You wished you could see her reaction, hoping the idea of food would brighten her mood. Still pretending to be asleep you heard the clacking of her heels from around the corner, she was making her way to the bedroom where you ‘slept’.
You squeezed your eyes shut in fear that she was still upset, unreasonably scared she might shock you to death. That was until you felt a gentle kiss on your cheek. “Hmm~,” she sounded so peaceful compared to earlier that day. “Thank you my love, I know you’re exhausted yet you cooked my favorite dish.
You felt another kiss on your cheek and her arms holding her upper body above you. Her breath on your face becoming warmer. You tried your hardest to keep your eyes closed, your new fear was that she would be upset you were faking your sleep. Even though you couldn’t see her presence still lingered
You felt her backhand nuzzle against your face as she looked down on your adoringly. “I’m sorry I yelled at you earlier today. I pray you’ll forgive me when you wake tomorrow,” You were tempted to sigh in relief after hearing her words. “Maybe we can even do something special together for your forgiveness.”
• When you left the comfort of the indoors, you had no particular direction. But you were determined to find out what had gotten Yae Miko in such a bad mood. Her shrine maidens even looked a little on edge after Miko’s explosive reaction.
• You wanted to help your girlfriend badly, but you couldn’t if you didn’t even know what was wrong in the first place. You stood outside looking at the Sacred Sakura Tree, pondering on how to improve her mood.
• Miko admittedly felt a little selfish. She knew none of today’s events was anybody's fault other than the Tenryou Commission. She specifically felt bad for you, as you were mostly on the receiving end of her anger.
You stood with your arms folded, still thinking about today’s events. You began to think maybe it was your fault, you could've left her alone and comforted her without having to dig into the situation. Feeling a little guilty you rubbed the nape of your neck awkwardly with a light tsk. You knew you weren’t responsible, but you definitely could’ve reacted better yourself.
That was until you felt a slender hand tap your shoulder, there she was, Miko staring up at you with puppy dog eyes. You couldn’t help yourself but think how adorable she was, even in the given situation. “What is the matter?” you asked, surprised because you never expected her to have appeared before you so soon.
“I know it was immature of me to react that way. I’m sorry,” She looked down, averting her eyes. You’d never heard her apologize before. She was usually so condescendingly cunning you’d almost consider it below her to apologize for her actions. You squinted suspiciously at her, was this really Miko standing before you?
She looked back at you hoping, stunned at her own actions and the words leaving her mouth. “This is the only time you’ll hear me apologize so savor it,” she said realizing her own softness. You were tempted to clap back, but you didn’t want to disturb the mood or invalidate her apology. You gave her a light sigh feeling a little better than before.
Even though this situation wasn’t ideal, the morale was certainly better. You both stood in silence looking at the bark of the tree before you. “So do you want to hear what happened or not?” She asked, you didn’t know she expected you to inquire about it first. “Listen up because I’m not going to repeat myself, alright?”
I'm trying to prove something.
Hello! Can I request a Hutao x childhood friend reader?
You and Hu Tao have been close ever since you were young. She made you, a random passerby, the victim of one of her many pranks, and ended up taking a liking to you. After a proper approach, she started spending more time around you and a friendship blossomed pretty quickly.
She'd try and spend as much time as possible with you, taking you to various places and playing an assortment of games. She frequently took you to some of her favorite sightseeing spots around the harbor, and she had found very many, being as adventurous as she is.
She loved to throw together poetry on the fly during your outings. She'd delicately grasp at every fleeting feeling and thought she had and weave them into a beautiful string of verses, and she'd try and get you to do the same.
It wasn't until a good few years into your friendship that she realized she had feelings for you. Thinking back on all the time you'd spent together, all the fun you'd had; she realized that those experiences were as positive as they were because it was you that was there with her. You weren't just any other friend to her, you were the best friend she could ever wish for, and she only wanted to become even closer.
While she is quite a bold person, confessing was still incredibly tough for her. She kept those feelings to herself for a while, afraid of rejection and the prospect of ruining your friendship. It wasn't until she inherited the role of Wangsheng Funeral Parlor's director that she chose to tear the bandage off. She was afraid her new role wouldn't leave as much time to spend with you, and the last thing she wanted was for you to drift apart. So, she decided to confess, hoping to bind the two of you together.
Her confession was messy. It was the most nervous you'd ever seen her; her face was beet red, she was tripping over every other word, and she was quite jittery. But, she managed to get the point across. She was clearly terrified of your response, and she waited, frozen in fear, to hear it.
It took her a moment to process your reply, but once she did, she was absolutely beaming. You could see her tear up a bit, right before she jumped at you and wrapped you in a painfully tight hug. She was just so relieved that you felt the same that she didn't bother verbalizing her gratitude, but your ribs being crushed got it across just fine. Words really couldn't describe just how happy she was. She loved you more than anything, and after hiding that for so long, she was absolutely ecstatic to have gotten that out, and now she knew the person she loved most loved her the same.
