Honestly I'm tired of all acotar discourse centering on moral righteousness and who is good and who is bad. Like leave me alone and let me enjoy my shitty fantasy novels without having to justify why I like it and the characters in it. Acotar is not a moral statement, it doesn't stand for anything. My favorite part of Feyre and Rhys meeting for the first time in chapter 21 is how she’s sitting there describing how magnificent he is, how she’s never seen someone so handsome, how “the night seeming to press in closer around him”, “As if he’d been molded from the night itself”, “tendrils of star-kissed night trailed in his wake”
