As an older member in the community - I've learned some things that have made my expierence here much more enjoyable:

Of course, not everyone agrees with what I'm going to say, you're absolutely entitled to your own educated opinion - but if you're looking for advice, here's some things I've learned:

Don't put anyone on a pedestal. Not your favorite artist, not your favorite writer, not your mutuals, and not Jack. They are literally people like you and I, and that's awesome that they're like us! Appreaciation is of course always welcome, but if you begin to constantly compare their success against yours in a negative way, or if you start believing that they can do no wrong: it will make it feel like you're never going to be as good, and it can give them imposter syndrome.

"tea" blogs are always going to be around in a big community. If you're not interested / offended by what they say: ignore them, block them, don't interact with them. They're not going to care if you do. While you / we might not agree with anything they say and may even hate everything they stand for, they have a right to have a blog and to share their thoughts. On the other hand, if they're attacking someone / one, that's absolutely not okay. If you're respectful, and calm by talking to them, things will be better for all parties.

PMA is fucking fantastic if it's utalized in the right way. It's not a cure. It never has been, and never will be. It's something to help remind you about positivity during your shit times. Don't force it on yourself or anyone else. That'll completly contradict what it's meant to do.

You're always worth more than you think - don't confuse that with you're better than people.

Be conscious of what you post. Make sure youre really saying what you're meaning to say. Communicating online is harder than it seems. Try reading everything a second time.

You truly aren't alone. Someone has always expierenced / felt what you're feeling.

Everyone will make mistakes. Don't let mistakes that have been worked to be fixed taint your opinion on someone who truly does great things, but has said / done the wrong thing on accident.

People care about your well-being.

And most of all;

Your talents, and thoughts will be appreciated.

Two outcomes of this debacle could possibly be:

A glitchy, pissed off message on tumblr saying "I think you FORGOT someone..." or something along those lines

OR

A heartbroken message from Jack (or one of the Egos) saying "Why would you call his name? We did this for a reason, left him OUT for a reason. Whose side are you really on...?"

Either one would fuck us up and screw us over

I Finally Have a Theory

So, yes, this is about the lack of Anti having an ego appreciation week. Strap yourselves in.

Bear with me here, because I know this might sound stupid and it might all just be bs in the coming days. Don’t come attacking me if the hype turns out to be nothing. *Insert Twenty One Pilots reference*.

ANYWAY!

So, my thought is: What if Anti set all of these up because he KNEW that we’d be screaming for him to have his own week? What if, and I’m pretty sure we’ve experienced this in the past with Anti, he gains more energy and power from attention (I.e; the fandom in this case) and he’s using the community’s love for him to his advantage to possess more power over Jack and the other egos? He knows that he’s the fan-favourite, and he’s getting clever and utilizing that adoration from the fans.

It’s a simple theory, I know. I don’t have a big brain.

Now, before you all scream at me, take a look at this:

The glitched letters literally spell out the word “Anti”.

I’m pretty sure those glitched letters weren’t there before, because, if they were, I DEFINITELY would’ve seen it all over Instagram when the post was initially created.

Looks like Anti’s getting his revenge.
