collection of useful things tumblr has taught me:
even if you can't fall asleep, laying down with your eyes closed will still rest your body
you don't have to brush your teeth standing up
you don't have to do any chore standing up, from dishes to showering
you don't have to shower with the lights on
if you can't brush your teeth, flossing and a tongue scraper gets rid of plaque and bad breath
if you can't do that, mouthwash kills a lot of bacteria

I’m bored so here’s some facts about my fractures, or ocs, as a more commonly known word.
Ash & Star are the youngest, and are inseparable. Ash is more loud and outdoorsy—naturally since they’re a wolf hybrid—and Star is more curious—since she’s a fallen star that just recently has gotten earth.
Xambia and Xyna are enemies(since they’re opposites and made to be that way) but even tho Xambia is the eviler part, he still shows compassion a lot and is more expressive then Xyna.
Xy doesn’t mind Ghostna too much and actually treats her wonderfully and loves her like a grandma(since she is old enough to be one)
Ghostna never had children when she was alive, but she watched her sibling’s children a lot.
Yeah anyways
Most people would get tired of trying to untie a knot in a shoelace after a minute. I would continue to pick at it for hours until it is untied.
Discord storytime!
soo, basically, i have a friend on discord that i met by using the throw bot(which is a bot that throws random stuff at the user of choice), and our friendship started as a funny little bit where three of us were in a 'love triangle' because we all threw engagment rings at each other.
The other user wasn't on often so we didn't become to good of friends, but this friend of mine, we'd just throw stuff at each other in this server.
Eventually, we got to that level where we'd use the throw bot and throw stuff at each other while having literal conversations. We'd be talking about our life while throwing the most absurd things at each other(anything from a black hole, to depression, to a chair)
We do this on an almost daily basis.

You know how Grian doesn’t have eyes? Just black, empty voids? As you can probably guess, they weren’t always like that. After disobeying the watchers, they forcefully gouged out both of his eyes.
Although he is blind, he can still “see” in a sense. He doesn’t know why, but he can see. Just not from where his eyes once were. What he sees is like viewing himself from someone else’s perspective.
Almost like he’s a character in a game. Sometimes he swears he sees a hot bar alerting to his hunger and physical health.

Okay, but consider this, since I'm just a bit crazy and we adore Second like he's our own child-
The way Chosen is seen, like in those sayings of black and white, he'd be gray. Not good, not bad. In the middle, with his own beliefs(like Technoblade). He's not a specifically good or bad character.
On the other hand, we have Dark. Completely evil. Bad from all angles, only mission is to destroy.
When it comes time for them to right their wrongs and turn themselves in for the better, this difference truly shows.
Dark, the person most opposite from good, has a pretty easy time changing to be less evil. This is due to the fact he's a complete opposite of good. All he has to do is flip the switch.
Then there's Chosen. Chosen is closer to good, but because he's a set middle of it, it's not as easy. He can't just flip the switch to be good, he's gotta do more. Seek out his own evil parts and replace them one by one. Keep his good parts and make sure they're in check. But it's not easy.
Because of this, Chosen may envy Dark. He may just absolutely hate his friend just because he has it easier, he doesn't have to worry as much, or fret about simple things like Chosen does.
You know...cause I'm just sick in the head.
For the writers and whoever else
Licking your wounds can help. It's instinctual in animals for a reason.
Licking can remove dirt and debris from the wound, decontaminating the area. This is useful, but also not very safe if there's something sharp in the wound, since then it's just going on your tongue. Saliva contains bacteria-preventing components as well.
And, the most obvious fact, licking your wounds closes them.
But, do not do this if you can. This is not safe in everyday situations. If normal medical help is possible, it should be seeked. And, as always, it's better to not do this to a larger wound.

Ok, so i have decided that for this one-shot im swapping his name situation. Xelqua is his birth name, Grian is his witness protection name that he doesn't get till later.

Xisuma had been in the past for around a week now? And it wasn’t that bad, honestly. The worst thing had been getting used to the way everything used to be.
He was living in some small house with three teenagers, Taurtis, Sam, and Xelqua. Sam is the one who let him stay at their house. Which Xisuma admittedly did find a bit weird, but the other two didn’t look stressed, so he just went with it.
Currently, he is alone in the house with Xelqua, a young teen; he thinks the boy is around 16. He has fluffy wings that are obviously too large for him, and Xisuma thinks he is adorable! ANYWAY! The other two had rushed out of the apartment an hour ago, claiming it was'school-related’ although it definitely looked like Sam had a knife in his back pocket.
Whatever, Xisuma was sitting on the sofa watching some David Attenborough documentary about bugs and whatnot. Xelqua had just been wandering around the house, doing random chores, so Xisuma didn’t notice when he turned around and the boy was leaning on the back of the sofa, deeply invested in the current segment about bees.
The boy sighed, “I wish I could control bees and wasps so I could make them sting my enemies..” The comment itself made Xisuma extremely confused, mostly because Xelqua looked so serious. Xisuma just smiled, offering the boy a comforting pat on the shoulder. “You’re too young to have any proper enemies.”
Xelqua just mumbled something inaudible, folding over the sofa. “Pardon.?” Xisuma smiled.
“You don’t even know the start of it.” The boy repeated, sinking his head into the pillows.
aaaaaaa I love how this comic makes the tensions during the fight look tighter than they were, and that was a heated moment
