Can you imagine you grow up on a farm, out in the wilderness, with very little access to any kind of amenities. You get out, because of your intelligence, and spend your whole life studying one particular topic. Learning about it is your passion. You don't advance very far, because other people keep stealing credit for your work and you don't have the social awareness to stop them. But you are still much better off than you started, so you let it go. Then a man shows up, who is not just interested in your favorite topic, but is the living embodiment of it. On your first outing, back to the area you grew up, he gives away very expensive items to save people just like your family. He doesn't see this as generous, just a basic expectation. He offers you up the reward and credit for the work you did together, when he could have kept it all for himself with no consequences, and he technically lost a large amount of money on this job because he gave it away to strangers. He asks you out to lunch at your favorite restaurant. After you finish eating, he goes behind the counter and gets a job for the evening, because learning about his favorite topic is his passion.
I find the thought of Clark being openly obsessed with Batman in front of his parents adorable

Marleyans: *Dumping titans to kill the residents of Paradis Island and inadvertently training them on how to fight them*
Also Marleyans: *Sees citizens of Paradis not afraid of taking on titans* What? How is this possible?
They literally trained their biggest threat on how to take out their most effective weapons.
After all this is over and everyone’s dead, I just picture Erwin and Levi singing “Revenge Party” from Mean Girls about Zeke in the afterlife.
Just,
“A Revenge party is a party that ends with somebody’s head on a spike.”
It me
Clive’s hatred of the Magic Society cracks me up. They appear and it’s ON SIGHT. Someone even mentions words “Magic” and “society” in the same sentence and he’s one long pause in Jason’s monologuing away from spewing venom.
*Swaps your captains*
I re-drew this a little better.
Tonight is feeling like I need Jason to be sobbing on his hands and knees. Inconsolable. No one can get through to him except his team.
Vibrating with excitement to get to this point
Book 6 Jason 🤝 book 12 Clive
I finally have more power than I ever dreamed possible, but I’m still riding the high of righteous battles where I was the underdog so I don’t realize how awful I am being towards people below me in power.
I had a dream that a ghost, aided by Humphrey’s mother, tricked/convinced the entirety of Team Biscuit into marrying each other. One big group marriage.
Jason: Clive blushed when I told him I made his favorite food. Do you think he likes me too?
Farrah: Taika went three times last night instead of two. Do you think that means something?
A modern day AU where Clive is a lonely researcher and Jason works part time at a dumpling soup shop and at an office supply store.
Clive only goes out for three things - food, office supplies, and basic necessities. Somehow he runs into Jason doing all three of these. And somehow, the chef/server who will let Clive rant about his research, coworkers, the university (all while looking very interested), remembers his name and says hi to him every time they see each other.
