I love how you design unique weapons for everyone you’ve drawn with one. Like the recent Grian and Mumbo. I started designing some for myself, would like to know how you do them

oh wow, thank you! i don't design weapons often im surprised anyone noticed at all lol

i just go with whatever the charater's aesthetic/vibe/signature is. like with grian it's obviously birds, so i made a bird sword, and for example foolish has a harpoon-esque trident since he's a god of the ocean and a shark dude:

i didn't do anything with mumbo's sword though. i got lazy and i haven't watched mumbo enough to know what would fit him. (except idk a moustache sword???)

if the weapon is renamed i can also add it's name on the blade itself after i translate it into enchantment language, as if it was engraved, ex. dream's nightmare and wilbur's lore sword:
