I think about this post on a weekly basis
Please. I want to be a creature.
It's important to me that everyone understands that if you've got an autistic friend who periodically sends you pictures/videos/whatever of your Thing, because they know you're into it... They love you.
Now don't get me wrong, It may not necessarily be romantic love, they might not want to run off to a little farm in Montana where you'll be married forever and raise little sheeps...
But they definitely love you. And they're so happy when they spot a post about X and go "ooh, my friend likes X! I'll send it to them!".
Because they love you and want you to be happy.
Phantom limbs.

I hate romance stories between dragon and a human and the dragon turns into a human for sexy stuff or romantic stuff. Like. No. Change back. Why the fuck you romancing a dragon if you only wanna bang it as a human. Fucking faker. Get out. How dare you
I wrote a short piece of flash fiction based on a tumblr post that kind of made me feral, and some people I know encouraged me to make a cover for it and slap it on Scribblehub despite it's length.
So, I did! You can read that here if you'd like.
As for the cover, I slapped together something simple really quickly last night. Here's what that looks like:
Anyways, that's all for now! Ciao <3
need
The idea of dragons in modern times is so fun because imagine a hot summer day on your vacay and go to use the hotel pool and staff is like "valued guests we regret to inform you that the pool area is out of service at the moment, we apologize for the inconvenience"
And people like "wtf why" looking out their hotel room window and there's this. This dragon just curled up in the pool chilling, literally, cooling itself down
Some of the staff are trying to gently shoo him away and the dragon does a soft little "rrrrrr" like a grumpy cat and a warning puff of smoke and they're like "fuck it i don't get paid nearly enough for this" and no ones using the pool today sorry!
i know i found out about otherkin and therians at a fairly young age, but it's just never made sense to me as to why someone who identifies as nonhuman is a threat to anyone. its not like im going to grow fangs and claws and attack you. i don't understand the lengths people go in order to make bad faith calls. when i figured out i was nonhuman, it was a breath of fresh air! it wasn't anything dark or "wrong". it wasn't something that involved anyone but myself
it was nice to think about what life wouldve been like in another life, to feel connected to the natural world in a way that i cannot experience in a human mindset. it feels obvious to me that im nonhuman. ive always felt like that was obvious. i often wear dog collars, i've been told i have a wolf or canine energy. again, who does it harm? some people identify very closely with the pets they keep. people often connect to the natural world, this is a very good thing. whether or not they relate to or are that thing, no one is being harmed
i cant just turn off being nonhuman. that gear is always switched to on first thing when i wake up. it's fine, it's not something that occupies my thoughts all day long, but it does influence how i experience the world, and how sometimes it can be difficult to understand some of the very human decisions that get made in the world. humanity doesn't make sense to me, but i don't call people freaks or dangerous weirdos or creeps for identifying as one!
