The short answer is a combination of the amount of energy required to conjure it and the impact it has on someone’s life.
A Hex:
Requires the standard amount of energy used in a small spell
Is annoying a best to those affected
Is not long-lasting and their quality of life is not impacted
Ex: A hex so that the person stubs their toes on their own furniture all day
A Curse:
Requires a lot of energy equivalent to that of an advanced spell
Can have a negative impact on someone’s emotional and mental health
Has impacts on someone’s quality of life and can be felt for months or even years on end.
Ex: A curse so that the person embarrasses themselves at every job interview they have.
tbh Apollo taking over as camp director at Camp Half Blood is the only acceptable ending to the TOA series
Robert Pattinson's commentary in Twilight is hilarious
Gather: an amethyst crystal, salt, a rose petal, lavender, purple string, and a small jar
Bless the salt, rose petal, and lavender with the charged amethyst and chant “peaceful dreams, peaceful sleep, please watch over me”
place ingredients in jar, tie the purple string around the top, and seal with a kiss
to recharge, place in a moonlit winder or repeat the chant as many times as you would like

Phases of the moon
You want to know if you will enjoy your new job. You pull The Devil card. Many will tell you that is a no, because The Devil is a bad card.
But The Devil represents deep passion. Aren’t the happiest employees the ones who are deeply passionate about their job?
You want to know if your health will improve. You pull the Death card. Many will say that is a no, because Death is a scary card.
But Death represents absolute transformation. So if your health is in a terrible state, Death means it will transition to a pleasant one.
You want to know if your husband will be faithful to you. You pull the Three of Cups. Many will tell you that is a yes, because the Three of Cups is a card of happiness.
But there are three people in the Three of Cups. Having an extra person in a marriage isn’t exactly a sign of faithfulness, is it?
No card in tarot is designed to be condemned as a yes or a no. Any card can be a yes, just as any card can be a no. It depends on every individual question and the intricacies of a situation.
Shortcuts will not make you wise. More often than not, they are dead-ends in disguise.
not sure if this is of any use to anyone, but I've found that I like to draw sigils with pencil (mostly the one I use to dedicate schoolwork to Athena) and smudge it into the paper with my finger as a way to "activate" it! I don't have access to fire and I can't really be open about my practice, so maybe this could help others who are the same? it also prevents the sigil from being seen if you smudge it enough!
WITCHES: IM GONNA START MY GRIMOIRE SOON SO PLEASE STANDBY AS I GATHER THE INFORMATION ON THIS BLOG. THEN I’LL DELETE IT AND POST AS NEEDED OR ASKED. THANKS FOR YOUR PATIENCE. 🤍
