Forgot to upload this here, a full moon calendar for 2020 for the northern hemisphere, I’m making the one for the southern hemisphere too <3
Full moons are perfect for charging your crystals or utensyls, to make moon water and to focus on your special intentions.
The Wolf Moon already lurks in the sky, do you have anything planned for it?

Historically accurate offerings to the Theoi, but this time it’s the Chthonic edition! These three were the only deities that had information substantial enough to make a slide on. All information is taken from the stories and tales of them on theoi.com.

Historically Sacred Items/Offerings to each of the Ouranic Theoi! I made this for my Hellenic polytheism group on discord, so I thought I’d share this information with all of you as well.
All information has been taken from theoi.com as well as various historical books on the gods, and I have decided to make this powerpoint so that other people don’t have to sift through all the pdfs and books themselves.

[OC] The Pink Super Moon. 4/7/2020 via /r/spaceporn https://ift.tt/3dXfU9w
Rose Sugar:
I made rose sugar yesterday and it smells amazing! I am planning on using it for tea and tea spells. The sugar reflects the pink of the petals and the entire jar is almost glowing pink ^-^
These are the most ethereal pictures I’ve taken
Gather: an amethyst crystal, salt, a rose petal, lavender, purple string, and a small jar
Bless the salt, rose petal, and lavender with the charged amethyst and chant “peaceful dreams, peaceful sleep, please watch over me”
place ingredients in jar, tie the purple string around the top, and seal with a kiss
to recharge, place in a moonlit winder or repeat the chant as many times as you would like
A spell that can be cast at any moon phase or any time of the day to turn your room into a magick-inducive environment. The perfect spell for baby witches who want to start with spellwork. I created this when I was 12 (2006) and it has been 11 years since then and it’s still effective.
Recommended to Cast During: Any moon phase at any time of the day.
Colors: Black and White
Needed:
🌿 2 Candles (either white or black)
🌙 An Athame (or any pointed object for engraving a candle)
🌿 A Wand (or any stick that is made from any natural material such as twigs, pencils, wooden chopsticks, selenite crystal, clear quartz wand)
To Cast:
🌿 Light one of the candles.
🌙 Start engraving a protection sigil or any symbolism that you dedicate with strength and protection on the unlit candle.
🌿 Twirl your wand around your engraved candle and say,
“Go away negativity and sway away. Positivity, if you wish to enter, you may.”
🌿 Light the engraved candle and carry it.
🌙 Bring the engraved candle with you and light the four corners of your room moving clockwise (start with north)
🌿 Meditate for 5 minutes after (chakra meditation is recommended or plain floor grounding is alright; that is to lie down completely on the floor)
What To Expect:
🌿 Your room will turn into a much more relaxing environment.
🌙 Negative energy that was collected through time will be diminished.
🌿 Better sleep, better naps, better magick.
🌙 Stronger magick especially for healing and love.
Rings add weight to the area of life that the finger represents, or could reveal imbalances. A ring placed with intent can enhance areas of your life. This can be strengthened by rings with corresponding crystals. When a ring is worn unconsciously, it more likely refers to the negative trait or imbalance that corresponds with that finger. Left hand: Corresponds to your personal and private life. Connected to family and personal identity or internal issues. Your left hand reflects the energy you take in. Right hand: Relates to your public life. Connected to work and your relation to society. Your right hand reflects the energy you give out. Middle Finger Element: Earth Considered the finger of cultural identity. It reflects how you related to justice, law, order, and responsibility. Can also signify inner security or materialism. Consciously placed ring: Reduce anxiety, improve stability, desire for self-development. Unconsciously placed ring: domestic unhappiness, insecurities, judgmental, lack of security. Crystals: garnet, onyx, agate, topaz, tiger’s eye, jade.
Index Finger Element: Water Considered the finger of personal identity, how you relate to and see yourself. Associated with leadership, ambition, and self-confidence. Consciously placed ring: Boost self-esteem, increase authority, improve confidence. Unconsciously placed ring: Damaged self-esteem, feeling not good enough, feeling better than others, controlling personality. Crystals: tourmaline, lapis lazuli, peridot, opal, emerald. Ring Finger Element: Fire Represents your extra-personal identity and self-expression. It represents creativity and love of beauty. If it’s a wedding ring or engagement ring, it represents success in finding a mate. But if bought by the wearer it can represent self-love. Consciously placed ring: Strengthen creativity, express friendliness, improve aesthetic awareness. Unconsciously placed ring: Creative frustration, concern with image, desire to be liked. Crystals: garnet, ruby, pink tourmaline, diamond. Little Finger Element: Air Considered the finger of impersonal identity. It reflects communication and sexuality. Also represents confidence in relationships and strength. Consciously placed ring: Improve communication, express sexuality/sexual identity, gain confidence in regards to relationships. Unconsciously placed ring: Poor communication, lies, difficulty with sexuality/sexual identity Crystals: blue topaz, sapphire, aquamarine. Thumb Element: Ether Your thumb symbolizes your spiritual identity. It relates to your will power, determination, and application of personal energy. It also reflects your ability to reason and apply logic. As the thumb is separate from the rest of the fingers, and a very useful finger, it also represents strength, independent thought, and freedom. Consciously placed ring: Boost energy level, increase will power/motivation, provide comfort, increase reasoning, increase personal strength and independence. Unconsciously placed ring: lack of energy, feeling powerless, lack of control, poor reasoning, feeling trapped, stubborn/stuck in own way, need for control, aggressive/forceful Crystals: moonstone, diamond, amethyst. Rings on all/many fingers This can indicate a negative circumstance that you are being faced with. It shows a likely lack of feeling safe or secure in your world, and that your putting on a front. It can also signify avoidance to deal with issues affecting your life.
Hey, Diana! I was wondering if there are any spells for beginners? I would like to start practicing, and figured I should start off with some simple spells. Thank you!
If there is someone who has been harassing you, ask the powers that be to take them away from your vicinity.
Lock yourself in a bathroom, with a piece of natural paper, a wooden pencil and a black candle in hand.
Light the candle, and write on the paper the name of your villain. Pass the paper over the candle as you recite to the divine the reason you want this person out of your life.
When you are done expressing your worries, burn the paper and stare at it until all of it is ash. Blow out the candle as you thank the higher powers for their assistance. Then throw it away.
The people I have recently given this spell to have seen their abusers getting stuck in faraway places during this coronavirus quarantine.
If you are facing a dilemma, be it practical, intellectual or moral, ask your higher self for the best solution.
Acquire a small handful of these herbs: rosemary, lemon balm and peppermint. When combined, they invite clarity of mind.
Create a tiny sack from one of your old clothes. It does not have to look beautiful, but you need to sew it yourself. Put the herbs inside it.
Before you sleep, place the sack beneath your pillow, imploring your higher self to help you arrive at the best approach to your problem.
The solution will come to you in your dreams, as a straightforward answer or as symbols that will have a relevant meaning.
If you are suffering from pain —physical, emotional or spiritual, activate the healing powers of salt, light and water to cleanse it all away.
On the witching hour, at three o’clock in the morning, run a hot bath for yourself. Place two cups of bath salt in the water.
Light as many tea light candles as the pains you wish to cure: one for your headache, another for your sore legs, a third one for your heavy heart, and so on. Place these candles on the bathtub ledge by your feet.
As you dive in and soak your body, visualize the heat of the water draining away your pains… the sharpness of the salt dissolving them quickly… and the light of the candles melting away any hurt left.
As the warmth of the water fades away, so will your every pain.
Alignment chart I made today. Do with it what you will
One of the most commonly used tools for divination and dowsing is a pendulum. The art of using a pendulum is something that anyone can learn and master, and enjoy experimenting with. Here we offer an introduction to using a pendulum, from how it works, and what you need, to how to get started.
What Is a Pendulum?
A pendulum is a symmetrical, weighted object that is hung from a single chain or cord. It’s never made of a magnetic substance, but is often a crystal. It’s also possible to use objects such as a favourite trinket, a bead, a metal ball or even a key. The pendulum is a very simple tool and one that lets the user tune in to their intuitive powers. The pendulum acts as a receiver and transmitter of information, and moves in different ways in response to questions.
What Is Pendulum Dowsing Used For?
Pendulum dowsing can be used in a variety of different ways. In its most simple form, you can use it to answer questions or aid in decision making. Pendulums can also be used for:
Healing purposes and identifying allergies.
To cleanse and dispel negativity in a room.
To help you find lost objects or pets.
To find water or ley lines (dowsing rods are often used for this too, which work in a similar way to a pendulum).
How Does Pendulum Dowsing Work?
A pendulum works by tapping into your intuition and sixth sense. The pendulum acts as a form of receiver and transmitter, from your higher guidance, guardian angels and spiritual teachers. As the pendulum moves, you gain answers in response to questions – it is best suited to use to answer ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions. Some people describe the way a pendulum works as being like bringing together the rational and intuitive sides of you (the left and right sides of your brain). When these two elements are brought together, you’re able to make decisions using all the sources, rather than just one of them.
Where Do The Answers Come From?
Many people wonder where the answers come from and debate whether it’s really working, or just the pendulum responding to the movement of the user’s hand. Whilst the pendulum can certainly be made to move with your hand movements, this isn’t the case always and after practice you’ll get to see why. As with any form of divination, using a pendulum involves a certain degree of faith, belief and a decidedly open mind, as the answers come from your intuition and from higher spiritual guides.
What Sort of Pendulum Do I Need?
There are a variety of pendulums available for dowsing, but you certainly don’t have to buy a posh, expensive pendulum to get good results. In fact, the type of pendulum you choose depends in part on what feels right for you. Many people choose to use a crystal pendulum. Clear quartz, for example, is a popular choice, as the crystal is associated with clarity and connecting to a higher purpose. Amethyst, which has a strong connection with the spiritual, is often popular too, as is a pendulum with the calming properties of a rose quartz crystal. Ultimately, whatever your favourite crystal, or the one you feel more drawn to, can be used on a pendulum, as long as it is rounded or pointed at one end. In fact, you could even have more than one pendulum if you wish, with different crystals on them, to use on different occasions. When you are starting out for the first time, you can practice the basic concepts by using a do-it-yourself or handmade pendulum if you wish. For example you could use a rounded glass bead, a metal ball or even a key suspended on the end of a simple piece of cord. When you know you want to try more work with a pendulum, you can then upgrade to a better, professionally made pendulum.
Before You Start Using a Pendulum
Before you embark on having a go at using a pendulum, it’s advisable to cleanse it first and charge it with your own energy. The easiest way to cleanse your pendulum for dowsing is to put it on a windowsill in direct sunlight for a day, so it catches the rays of the sun. To charge it with your energy, hold the pendulum in your hands, closing your hands around it. Then spend a short time (5 to 15 minutes will be fine) sitting quietly, with your eyes closed, focusing your energy on your pendulum. If you’d like to, you can say a pray or ask your spirit guides or guardian angels for their support and guidance when using the pendulum. Once your pendulum is cleansed and charged, it’s a good idea to keep it somewhere safe. Many people like to wrap their pendulums in silk or pop them in a small velvet bag for safekeeping.
Anyone can have a go at using a pendulum, but the main criteria is that you need to start with an open mind and put any doubts to one side. The string, chain or cord of the pendulum should be held between your thumb and forefinger in which ever hand feels most comfortable. Some pendulums have a small metal loop or ring at the top of the chain which can make it easy to hold. Ideally the pendulum chain shouldn’t be too long, especially when you’re first getting started, so if it seems too long or of you’ve got excess string or chord, then you can wrap it lightly around your index finger. When you’re ready to start, sit with your pendulum held between the thumb and forefinger of one hand and run your other hand down the length of the pendulum chain or cord, bringing your hand to rest with the bottom tip of the pendulum in your upturned palm. The pendulum should now be completely still and you can move the hand away from the bottom of the pendulum. As you move it away, the pendulum will probably start moving. This is perfectly normal.
Always be polite
One way to start this focusing process is to try the following process whenever you begin a quest with your pendulum:
1. State what you want to do.
2. Ask, “May I dowse at this time?”
3. “Can I dowse at this time?”
4. “should I dowse at this time?”
always ask these questions before you dowse. Over time more experienced dowsers can shorten the process so that asking the question “Lets Dowse” infers the meaning of all three being asked separately.
If at any stage it says not then don’t dowse, leave it for another time try and keep an open and inquiring mind but always check the answer.
Stay relaxed
Try and be as relaxed as possible (the more relaxed your are, the better your flow of energy will be) and sit watching the pendulum whilst it moves. It may come to a halt after a while and you can begin to have a go at determining the ‘yes’ and ‘no’ response of your pendulum. Ask your pendulum out loud or in your mind, ‘Please show me a YES response.’ Take time to watch the response – it may only be minor at first, but this is normal, as it takes time to get to know how your pendulum interacts with you. Pause for a while, then try the same again asking for the pendulum to show you a NO response. Don’t worry if you can’t tell much difference from the yes and no responses yet – this is perfectly normal at first and you should get to be able to tell the difference with the more practice you get. For example, some pendulums will make wide circular movements in response to ‘yes’ and backward or forward swings in response to ‘no’. It’s helpful to repeat this exercise again, several times, before you’re happy with what your ‘yes’ and ‘no’ pendulum responses are. Sometimes they can change over time and, if someone else uses or inspects your pendulum, you may need to do it again to recharge it with your energy.
What Type of Questions Can I Ask the Pendulum?
The pendulum responds better to questions where there are ‘yes’ or ‘no’ answers. When you’re starting out and practising, try asking simple questions, like,’ Is today Tuesday?’, ‘Is my best friend’s name Phil?’ or ‘Do I live in the UK?’. This will help you get a better grip of how your pendulum responds and help you gain more confidence in using it. As you get more proficient, you can ask questions about decisions you’re making in your personal life, such as whether to get a certain type of car, whether you can trust someone or whether you’re eating healthy enough food. You can also try fun exercises, such as locating a castle, ruin or water on a map. Hold the pendulum over different parts of a map and see the responses. As you get more experienced, this method can also be used to locate lost people or animals.

The sabbats are holidays celebrated throughout the year on solstices, equinoxes, and the midpoints between them. These sabbats form the Wheel of the year.
There is a controversy surrounding the dates of these holidays, as people celebrate them all over the earth, not only in the northen hemisphere but in the southern too.
One viewpoint is that the Sabbats should be celebrated as they were originally created to be… in other words, Samhain is October 31st, regardless of where you live. In the Southern Hemisphere, even though you are just gearing up to summer on October 31st, this perspective says that you celebrate the cleansing and releasing, the honouring of the dead just as you would if you lived in the Northern Hemisphere. The other viewpoint (the one I personally agree with) is that you should celebrate when you feel like the season corresponds with the holiday, in other words, your craft, your rules. So if you live in the southern hemisphere, you have the choice.
I’ll be writing the dates for each holiday starting with the northen hemisphere and then the dates that many people celebrate them in the southern hemisphere

Hey everyone. I want to preface this with a few disclaimers. First, not everyone believes in this. Some people don’t find it necessary to take any protective measures, and I’m not saying they are right or wrong. Second, it is very rare for anything terrible to happen, but I have seen it before.
You’ve probably seen a post or two that warn you about protecting yourself against dark entities when you reach out to your deities. Personally, I would rather be safe than sorry. I find it generally easy to cast a circle, so I do that before I do any in-depth communication/divination with my deities.
So how do you KNOW when to question who you’re talking to?
1.) They are telling you to do something that is harmful. If they tell you to do something unhealthy, or harmful in any way, question who you are talking to.
2.) They are causing you to do something that is unhealthy. Are you finding that you are excessively distracted or obsessed with them? Are you having trouble focusing during important tasks? This is different than being happy or thinking about them often. I mean that if you are trying to do something important, can you feel them trying to pull you away from it? Are you feeling threatened by them?
3.) They are telling you something that is too good to be true. I have heard things such as: Being told you are a deity reincarnated, being told you are “the chosen one”, or that you are a demigod. Yes, there are people who are chosen to become priests/priestesses, but this comes with TIME and LEARNING. This will not happen until you build a strong relationship with your deity. It WILL NOT happen within the first couple days/weeks of practicing.
4.) They are outwardly sexual or seductive. (NOTE: I do not judge anyone’s relationships with their theoi. Including sex in your worship is A-ok (with the permission of your deities of course). ) If you find that they are being overly seductive, sexual, or pressuring in any way, question who you are talking to. If they seem to only be talking to you about sex, question who you are talking to.
5.) Mania. Do you feel unrealistically good with them? So good that everything feels out of control and you feel blinded by it? You might want to question it. Connecting with your theoi can create happiness in ways you may have never experienced before, but it should NEVER be so blinding that you are obsessed or unaware of everything else. If you find that your life is suffering due to this, question who you are talking to.
6.) They are being manipulative or possessive of you. If you try to focus on something else, do they try to pull you back to them? If you start to question who they are, do they try to convince you to stay? Pay attention to things like, “I can make you feel better.” “I can be everything you want.” “You will be nothing without me.” Manipulation is a big red flag.
7.) They are telling you everything you want to hear. Know what your insecurities are, and don’t be ready to run off into the sunset as soon as you hear someone validate you. Yes, your theoi are extremely loving, validating, and reassuring. This is not that. This is that sickeningly sweet, manipulative voice. It seems to know every word you want to hear, and is quick to say them.
8.) They are pushing you to give any part of yourself to them. Are they pressuring you to invite them in? Your theoi may say they want you to devote to them, but they will NEVER pressure you. They know these are big decisions, and you can take your time deciding upon them.
Again, this is EXTREMELY RARE. I don’t want this post to scare anyone, or make them question their relationships with their deities. I am only making you aware, so that you can keep an eye out for yourself and your loved ones.
The best way to assure that this doesn’t happen is to cast a circle. I have also made black salts, and drawn protective sigils. However, casting a circle can be done hundreds of ways with or without tools. Build up your skills at it, and trust that you are safe when you do so.
(IMPORTANT NOTE: I will not ignore the possibility that mental illness has a place in this. If you are experiencing dangerous or harmful voices, hallucinations, or urges, please speak to a licensed mental health professional. It is important that we do not blame everything on spirits, when there can be other very real, very dangerous illnesses involved.)

this so much like don’t ever tell a queer/gay person to stop talking about their sexuality. that self-love took a long time to achieve
Moon Calendar 2020 Patch // CloudsCrow
Palm Reading
now that i’ve begun working more with energy, i wanted to share my methods of casting circles! when i first started working with energy, it was really hard to find references for casting circles, especially ones not dealing with the traditional Wiccan god/goddess. here are some methods and uses of casting circles!
the primary reason i cast circles is to protect me from outside energy influences. most people associate circles to protection from ‘malevolent’ spirits, however, it’s just a great barrier in general!
here are some following scenarios i cast circles:
divination- to protect me from energies that might influence my cards or my interpretation o the cards
spellwork- pretty self-explanatory. i cast circles to protect from energies i don’t want in my spells, or from potential spirit attraction.
meditation- again, for energy use and to also not be disturbed from anything spiritual.
1 - Invoking Elements
a very basic way, if not the go-to way, of casting is to place each of the four elements at each of the cardinal directions. Earth at the north, Air in the east, Fire at the south, and Water in the west.
fire
Candles (color them for intent if used in a spell! alternatively, electric tea lights work fine.)
here is a post about color associations for candles!
Anything symbolic of fire colors (red or warm-colored cloth, figures/statues,etc.)
water
moon/sun water (in a jar works really well, or in an open container if being used for blessing anything)
blessed water, or water related to whatever you’re working with (storm water, diluted essential oils, etc).
here is a good source of different kinds of water and how to cleanse them!
blue or purple colored items
earth
stones or crystals (this is what i love to use! just be wary that some stones are aligned with other elements. clear quartz is a go-to.)
salt
dirt (from your backyard or specific, such as hospital or graveyard. make sure to cleanse it.)
herbs (especially roots)
brown or black colored items
air
incense (different scents have uses as well!)
here is a post with scent correspondences!
steam
yellow or white colored items
alternatively, any of these could be replaced with a tarot card of the corresponding suit! (wands for fire, cups for water, pentacles for earth, and swords for air).
to close the circle, walk clockwise starting in the east (air) and complete a full walk around the circle. do this as many times as you feel needed to envision a complete circle! after your use for it is done, unwind it by walking the same number of times counter-clockwise.
note: if you live in the southern hemisphere, you may want to reverse fire and earth in your directions and walk counter-clockwise to close the circle, and clockwise to end it.
2 - Envisioning
this is a very, very simple way to cast a circle! if you have very little time, simply imagine a ring of light around your workspace. you could align color to purpose as well.
the only downsides to this method include the fact that it may not be as strong as a physical circle for beginners especially, as i have learned many times over as i find energy that i don’t want in the circle. on top of this, to make it very successful, you may have to keep this image in your head throughout your spell or energy work, which may distract or hurt your concentration.
however, like i said before, it’s very easy, discreet, and requires no clean up! with practice, it could be very easy to maintain.
3 - Salt Circle
by simply spreading salt in a circle clockwise (or counter-clockwise depending on your location), you can create a strong barrier. as you walk around, envision your purpose of protection and safety.
if you are working outside, do not use salt. it will kill plant life! instead, consider alternatives such as: egg shells, diluted salt water, crushed herbs, flower petals, etc.
if working inside, consider setting out foil, cloth, or a tarp for easy cleanup.
4 - Cleansing the Room Itself
if you find that you for some reason cannot cast a circle, or maybe are just starting out, consider cleansing the entire room instead!
some methods include:
smoke cleansing (NOT smudging. please do not call this action smudging unless it is part of YOUR culture.)
salt or protective mixture
dance/song
salt/water spray
incense and candles
for smoke cleansing, light your bundle and start facing eastward, spreading the smoke and asking for protection from either the corresponding element or any deities/spirits/etc. you worship. move clockwise or counterclockwise.
for salt or protection mixtures, simply place a small pile in each corner of the room or at the cardinal directions.
dance and song can celanse the room when accompanied with smoke especially.
the salt water spray can be used similar to the protection mixture – spray a little in each corner or at the cardinal directions.
incense and candles can be placed in corners, the directions, or just throughout the room to act as protective energy.
make sure to remove your circle after you’re done!! leaving it up isn’t safe and could be draining on your energy or health.
try not to leave the circle in the middle of your work, if it can be avoided. ive had to do it before and nothing bad happened, but sometimes it ocould break the circle, or bring unwanted energy or precense in.
do your absolute best to have all your materials in the circle before you cast it. bringing items that were not in the circle before could carry energy that you just do not want in your circle. i’ve messed up plenty spells because of it already. if it is really necessary, cleanse the item as thoroughly as you can (quickly if you need to), and enter the circle from the east.
if these methods don’t work right away, don’t worry! these take lots of practice. some easy ways to try casting daily include:
cast a circle before you meditate
cleanse your room before you do homework for a safe space to work
if you have a form of divination, cast a circle before drawing a daily reading (i do this in the morning to see how the day will go or seek advice for the day!).
good luck!

In a nutshell
If you’re worldbuilding and making up a religion, remember that making yourself small and kneeling down in front of something to pray quietly is very much a Christian thing.
Personally I like the Ancient Greeks’ method of prayer which was to go up a mountain, stand up with your arms outstretched real big, and scream compliments at Apollo until he listened to you
