I finally updated my vanity table overhaul mod! This mod now includes 4 modules, each working on their own, but I recommend downloading them all together!
I took into account all the problems with past makeup looks (some makeup looks were not as in the title, and also not suitable for darker skin tones).
I used incredibly beautiful makeups from TwistedCat and Miiko, which you should MUST DOWNLOAD from the links below (about 10MB total):
♡ Stalker Eyeshadow&Eyeliner ♡ Spiceberry Lipstick ♡ Soft Glam Lipstick&Glitter Overlay ♡ Slayer Eyeliner Low ♡ Prism Lipstick&Eyeshadow ♡ Date Night Eyeshadow&Eyeliner (03) ♡ Dark Hour Eyeshadow ♡ Basic Please EyeLid Eyeshadow ♡ Wing It Eyeliner
Examples of some overrides:
I've tested each makeup on different appearance types and skin tones, so everything should look great this time around! But if something suddenly goes wrong - be sure to write!
Also, all these makeups are applied on the stylist station from the «Get Famous» add-on. Now you can organize a real beauty salon, for this I even made a small fix, allowing you to ask to do hair or makeup of any sim, even strangers!
All these ready-made game makeup, of course, are good, but there are times when we don't need a full makeup, but still want to put on lipstick or eyeliner!
For this, I made a mod that allows you to choose any makeup, be it eyeliner, lipstick, blush, eyeshadows or highlighter, and apply it individually!
Now, a new 'Choose and Apply Makeup' menu will appear on your vanity table, clicking on which you can choose the makeup you want:
I made a large number of different makeup options, from casual to evening. Here we also use makeup from TwistedCat and Miiko (I wrote about them above), which you need to download for this mod to work.
There will be a corresponding animation for each type of makeup! I also added a new action 'Apply Perfume', which will give a confidence buff to your sim.
This is what applying makeup and perfume looks like:
Various objects are used during the application of makeup:
I changed some of the objects a bit, making them smaller, and also repainted all the textures:
As you know, makeup in the game can only be applied with the help of a vanity table, which takes up a lot of space, and costs a lot of money! But in real life, we only need one cosmetic bag and a mirror.
With my mod, you can apply makeup using the following objects:
IMPORTANT! Place any of these objects on the table (it doesn't matter how, as long as it is on the surface of the table) and place a chair. Now you can apply makeup anywhere, because you can take the cosmetic bag with you!
If you download the 2nd module, then with these objects you can also apply perfume and makeup separately!
Here's how you can now apply makeup by placing a small mirror on your desktop:
✧ DOWNLOAD ✧

Two nights ago I turned on my game and decided to see what Geoffrey would authentically lead me to in Strangerville. Originally my plan was to have him gather evidence, complete a dossier, and get inside a lab where he may or may not have been consumed by the mother plant, but I didn't want to do heavy storytelling. I decided to just play and get some ideas because sometimes that spikes up my creativity more especially since I just wanted this to largely be gameplay.
When I first switched to Geoffrey he was on the verge of death in San Myshuno. Lowkey took this as foreshadowing, but I got him dressed and sent him on his way.
I decide to go to Strangerville's library to have him ask civilians about their awareness of the town. However Geoffrey...was watching a sexual act between Katrina Caliente and Marcus Flex.
I won't tolerate this behavior, so I send Geoffrey outdoors to find more upstanding people. An infected sim is walking around, so I have Geoffrey speak to him.
'Consume the fruit of the mother and know peace.'
Now, despite being lead detective we can all agree that Geoffrey is not the smartest guy around, right? Which had the gears in my head turning, like: "is my Geoffrey going to be willing to examine the fruit, and take a bite of it?" After a few moments I decided yes. Yes he is.
i've been sitting on this build for a whole year and i honestly can't remember why i haven't released it yet, but i felt like an asshole for never posting it after so long so! enjoy <3

Copperdale Creep Trail Goes Cold
Police say they haven’t received a viable lead on this summer’s series of violent attacks for months.
The so-called Copperdale Creep’s reign of terror seems to have ended just as abruptly as it began. Although there have been no reports of attacks since late summer, many Copperdale residents are still shaken and tourists are reluctant to return. “Business still hasn’t recovered,” admits ThrifTea owner Eloise Hiddlestix. “Out-of-towners are too afraid to visit, and locals are too afraid to leave their houses.” Despite the lingering cloud of uncertainty, police still can’t provide any answers, recently admitting they’ve uncovered no new evidence and currently have no suspects. Luckily, the last known victims, two teenagers whose identities have not been disclosed, have made a full recovery. The prevailing theory is that the culprit was a rabid animal, but the public has remained loudly skeptical of this claim, insisting that no animal would be capable of the stealthy precision…]

Gnome Mania
The mischievous lawn ornaments are no laughing matter to this artist.
Why gnomes? “They’re as quotidian as they are quirky,” Faust explains. “They’re agents of chaos, yet they’ve become synonymous with suburban lawns, absurdity wrapped in conformity. I find that double identity compelling.”
It’s been only a few months since Windslar welcomed its latest artist-in-residence, Ulrike Faust, but her work is already raising eyebrows. Some find her twists on artistic classics a cheeky breath of fresh air. Others have called them nothing more than glorified plagiarism. “Obviously, I don’t own the Mona Lisa,” she responds, rolling her eyes. The UBrite graduate never minces words…]

Some people asked for my cas background after i posted some cas pics recently, so i uploaded it for anyone who is interested. It looks pretty different with no reshade... but yea! 🌙 here ya go :)
If you've been on YouTube lately, you've probably seen the wave of players dealing with corrupted saves, forever loading screens, and worlds breaking beyond repair. It’s frustrating, but after months of rebuilding my own save (with over 30,000 mods and CC files—yes, really😕), I’ve found some ways to keep major errors at bay.😁
While no save is completely error-proof, these tips might help you avoid game-breaking issues and keep your Sims’ world running smoother.
Always keep a copy of your save outside the game—on your desktop or an external drive. Do NOT rely on the in-game "Recover Save" feature, because if your save is corrupted, chances are the recovered version is too.
Instead of constantly clicking "Save," use "Save As" and create a fresh save. Overwriting the same file multiple times (7-10 times or more) can bloat the file and slow down your game. Once you've saved a new version, delete the old one (since you have a backup anyway!). This keeps your save cleaner and prevents sluggish performance.
Some worlds are known for stuck items, exclamation mark errors, or disappearing lots—especially San Myshuno, Oasis Springs, Willow Creek, and Evergreen Harbor. If you're having issues, avoid placing residential-Rental lots there.
However, I’ve found Del Sol Valley, Ciudad Enamorada, Tomarang, and Ravenwood to be much more stable for residential and rental lots!
Large homes with tons of clutter and objects can bog down your game. If you don’t love playing super-rich Sims in mansions, consider using large lot spaces (50x40 and up) for community lots instead of oversized residential builds. It helps keep your save lean and functional.
Sims’ in-game photographs and screenshots take up a surprising amount of space. Keep only 10-20 photos per household and delete the rest. Also, regularly empty the "Screenshots" folder in your Sims 4 directory to avoid unnecessary bloating.
While your Sims sleep, take a quick scan of the neighborhood and delete random objects left lying around (plates, trash, random items). This helps prevent save file bloat and keeps the world from lagging.
Check Manage Households and delete unneeded NPCs. The game constantly generates new townies, and over time, they clog up your save. You don’t have to delete all of them, but clearing out a chunk can help performance.
When your save file becomes bloated with unnecessary things, it becomes unstable! That means it will start to break down and cause issues—just like the errors many players are experiencing right now.
Keeping your save clean and optimized is the best way to prevent crashes, long load times, and corruption before they happen.
Final Thoughts
😕Is my game completely error-free? Nope. Right now, I’m dealing with rain and snow falling inside my Sims’ apartments and houses (because of course, EA). And I still get the occasional MCCC Last Exception (but they’re minor).
However, I’m NOT experiencing the major game-breaking errors that are all over YouTube. A few months ago, my save was nearly unplayable, but these changes made a huge difference.
I hope this helps! If you have any other tips that have worked for you, feel free to share.
