i admit my lack of research before answering the question bothered me so i decided to check my sources a bit after i answered this, as for the feet bit it very much was baldwin of ibelian, but everything else seems to be in check.

1)Where does this passion for the Middle Ages come from ? 2)If you choose another era to study than the Middle Ages, what would you choose ?

my passion for the middle ages comes from just being very intrigued by peoples lives before me and the life before the industrial era, also the origin of alot of stuff we use nowadays and everything just feels so far away from our lives today, super interesting stuff to me

while i am interested mostly in the high middle ages (10th to 13th century), i do my researching all across the era, what i find alot of interest in is closer to the Renaissance era, so 16th century.

as for non medieval era interests, you have started to get me interested in ancient greece and rome :)
