This is a second time I am trying to picture an idea of Akiren freeing Akechi from thorns and vines and roses... sth about this idea just speaks to me so much... I will probably do more one day.

So I kinda did my first proper comic ever...? and it just happened to be 2/2...?

I made a lineart for this A(ngst)kechi with angel Akiren in July, but I feel like it was in my WIP folder for YEARS.

I would make everything differently now, but wtv, I finished it, I am free now! and ready to draw more shuakes that I will actually like

His sleep isn’t sound, instead riddled with nightmares and roaming hands. Hot whiskey eyes and bony fingers make themselves at home in his mind and he can’t escape. There’s a bomb, ticking away, set to explode – or perhaps implode? – in less than a month and yet he can’t help himself from wanting to play with the wires.

(I.e. NG+ maxstats!Akira might be an anxious, mildly depressed wreck but he has never looked this good.)

So, who cares if he keeps remembering things that never happened? So what if there are eight Phantom Thieves, rather than the three he expected? And so what if their leader has proven surprisingly adept at avoiding him? None of it matters. A new game is starting, and Akechi Goro is going to win it.
