Friday Anime Wrap Up!
So only two of my anime ended for this day so I will not do any spoilers for Kusuriya so don't worry if you are still watching.π
Tasokare Hotel
This was a really good anime and it wrapped up nicely at the end of the season. it would have been easy to drag it on with more people needing to figure out the mystery behind their death or near death experience but I rather enjoyed the second half of the series more with the triangle of Neko-chan, Atori senpai, and their involvement with Εsoto-san. The ability to turn back time in order to save Atori senpai might have been a little bit of plot armor but it didn't seem too far fetched to me so I was fine and it made me smile seeing a PoS like Εsoto-san end up right where he belonged.π
Kusuriya no Hitorigoto 2nd Season
Why did this week ep remind of second season of Mushoku Tensei? Like the elephant in the room is that Jinshi still has his...trunk. Oh and yes that he is actual the younger prince but we been knew that for a while. Maomao doing everything to avoid finding out what Jinshi is trying so hard to tell her is priceless and I feel for him, but at the same time i am laughing so hard here! π€£
Guild no Uketsukejou desu ga, Zangyou wa Iya nanode Boss wo Solo Toubatsu Shiyou to Omoimasu
Another dark horse anime that I hope gets a second season. I felt for Alina so much the whole season. Taking a job that should have been a simple 9-5 that turned into a mess of over time. Sadly many of us have been there in the adult world at least once and if I could just beat the shit out of someone in order to go home early that would have been number one on my list. π
That being said I am happy that it went even further with jade and the Silver Sword party and solving mysteries that not only affected Alina's over time, but threatened their world. Very important point there. We just found out there is an even nastier person behind all the monsters, new dungeons, as well as trying to revive the Dark God(s). Can we also talk about the ED although sometimes they played it as the OP which is honestly genius cause people will skip the ED at times so they would get to hear it. it was so adorable it made honorable mention in my Top Five OP/ED of this season!π
That's it for my Friday Anime! I expect to have more this coming season since Friday is usually a day I get lambasted with anime, but who knows it might be like this season was too! Jaa ne!π€
Friday Anime Line Up!π₯§
Happy Pi Day ya'll! For those not in the know today is March 14th aka 3/14. Pi's equation is 3.14 so today is Pi Day! My husband taught me this and I used it as a way to cope with my father's birthday which is also on the 14th. He passed away when I was 13 at 47. Sadly since David has passed both the 13th and 14th are hard for me to get through but with Pi Day and anime I work it out.ππ₯§
Yes this includes pizza too by the way! Any pie is on the table for Pi Day! We usually start with quiche and then have pizza for dinner and traditional pie for dessert. Speaking of dessert, let's get to the sweetest part of my day, my Friday anime!π€π₯§

Between last week and this week some serious stuff happened! If I didn't like Εsoto-san before i damn sure don't like him now! Same with that creepy monkey looking dude. Ugh, so much went down these past wo episodes and of course we get a cliff hanger.π
The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season
Last episode we found out more history about the late PDF emperor and what a real piece of shit he was. We also found out about the Empress Dowager and Jinshi Yet Maomao is a bit behind which is a surprise. This week felt like a filler honestly although we did get a real mystery to solve by the end and a mystery to keep us guessing just before the end of the episode.π§

We knew the stalemate between Jade and Alina was not going to last let's get real, but i was surprised who caved first. Now the more important thing is who is the Black Cloak and it the one trying to do the same thing as the archvillain i am reading about currently with his deceased loved one. π€

Tasokare Hotel
This was the first ep where we saw a lot of the guests getting involved in the moment. Also I think this was the most guests we have seen as well. I did not expect that face reveal though. That was a nice touch.π§
The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season
This episode was rough to stomach cause man the old Emperor was a nasty PDF. I mean hearing how the Empress was not even mature enough to have a kid yet? Dude, that bastard needed to be locked up!π

There was so much going on in this ep that I got whiplash! Between watching Between watching Lulu trying to heal Ailna and Jade clashing with the twins, plus Lowe saving that piece of garbage Aiden just so the twin could not eat him and get stronger...ugh, my neck hurts and my eyeballs need a rest! π²
Friday Anime Line Up!
I realized yesterday that I was rushing to watch my anime so that I could post my reactions and it was making me annoyed cause I was also rushing the rest of my day. I think it is easier to just post the next day about my anime watch the day before and I feel so dumb that I was trying so hard and ruining my fun!π΅
So that I decided to use common sense, imagine that, let's start with a bonus episode to the day because Ameku Takao no Suiri Karte was delayed so it came out yesterday instead of its normal scheduled day.π
I'm going to do a little rant about this anime separately cause I am sick of a comparison theory, if you know you know, but man I was on point with this episode! I mean its kind of bad I was cause it means I watch waaaay too much True Crime, but yeah I knew exactly the diagnosis and I'm kind of proud...or disturbed, not really sure which.πΆ

I like that we are actually getting more in depth into the main characters this ep rather than just solving the Who Are You spot light of the new guest of the hotel.π€

FINALLY! The elephant in the room that so many should have figured out by now is out for everyone to know...well except for Maomao of course. As smart as she is I can't believe she didn't figure out something I figured out the first quarter of first season.π

I love how we went from light hearted moments at the festival and one of the darkest that I think we've seen this season so far in less than 15 min. π²

This underrated anime just keeps getting better and better as the season goes on and the guests get more and more interesting as we go! Finding out more about the main characters is really my fav moment in each ep though.π€
The Apothecary Diaries 2nd Season
So I saw someone complaining that all they ever do in this anime is try to kill the higher concubines and Maomao and Jinshi just figure out how and why. Um...yeah cause that how it was back then. Not the figuring out part cause honestly no one was worried about that as much, but it was that cut throat and honestly the Emperor could not give a shit like he kind of does in this one. That's why they had so many concubines cause there was always another one to take their place.π

Okay back to the fun after that last mini rant. Our poor girl Alina can't catch a damn break no matter how hard she tries. Last ep was pretty serious so I love that this one was more light hearted and back to the comedy moments.π
People can't keep calm until they know who's gonna play Wylan in season 2!
