All Might is Allowed to Teach and That’s Insane
It’s kind of bananas to me that All Might can teach at an elite and high profile school like Yuuei with like no real teaching qualifications? Like, sure he’s All Might, the Hero to end all heroes or whatever, but it’s literally canon that he knows absolutely nothing about how to teach and everyone just lets him?! Most times they don’t even have one of the actual teachers assisting him, the school just gives him free rein to literally throw kids at other kids and the worst he gets is a stern lecture from Recovery Girl. Like, how has no one tried to sue the school at this point, really?
And it’s not even like we can say the other teachers are the same because they’re heroes. Present Mic teaches English, Ectoplasm teaches Mathematics, Cementoss teaches Modern Literature – all of which are core classes and therefore need to be taught by qualified teachers. They probs had to double major or something in college to be Pro Heroes and Teachers and All Might just… walks into Yuuei one day and becomes a teacher?! Do know how salty I’d be if I was staff?
Like Mic over here is just thinking to himself “lol that’s so cool All MIght’s a teacher now, and I had to read War and Peace in like two weeks and write an essay on morality based on the symbolism and other reaching themes of the book, while my roommate chugged Redbull and burped fireballs into our wastebasket, but go off All Might! you totally got this~!”

Izuku: *walking down the hallway with Tsuyu when he notices her looking a bit down.* Is something wrong Tsu?
Tsuyu: It’s nothing Izuku.
Izuku: Tsu, its okay. You can tell me.

Izuku: … Okay but just remember that I here for you when you are ready to talk. *He sighed before smiling at her.*
Tsuyu: Kero. *Tsuyu blushes slightly before muttering.* I really want to hold hands. Kero.
Izuku: Oh… *Izuku muttered back frowning in disappointment do to the fact they are both holding stacks of papers preventing them from holding hands.* … Wait. I have an idea.
Tsuyu: Kero?

Nemuri: *Sitting at her desk walk the door open.* Ah It’s about time you two got here. Thank you for bringing me… the… papers… *As she turned she came face to face with Izuku and Tsuyu walking in holding the stacks of paper and more noticable how happy they look with their tongues out, nameless Tsuyu’s wrapped around his.*
Izuku: M-Mere uou go. *Izuku said slightly happier with pink cheeks*
Tsuyu: Glad to help. Kero. *Tsuyu spoke normally smiling happily as she released Izuku’s tongue after they set down the paper, bowing to their teacher and walking out the office holding hands.*
Nemuri: … *Midnight then places her hands together inhaling deeply before turning around to All Might who sat there completely unfazed.* I am having a really hard time trying to figure out if that was super cute of super hot.
All Might: *Looks at Midnight for exactly two seconds before turning back to his work.* Take a cold shower Midnight.

All Might: I think they [UA students] have had a great year. I feel like a proud mama hen whose baby chicks have learned to fly.
Aizawa: Insteresting analogy, All Might. Chickens are famously bad at flying.
The “All for One is Izuku’s father” theory is both interesting and hilarious because any time I think about it, I just imagine Toshinori finding out and having a “I love this child with every fiber of my being and he has my complete trust but how the fuck did I manage to choose the one (1) child of my arch-nemesis as a successor” moment.
hc that toshinori makes terrible dad jokes (which inko finds hilarious), and mido just quietly suffers through their terrible sense of humor (tho its obviously not terrible all the time they do make good ones once in awhile hehe) but tldr midoriya has a giant database of these jokes because of them

I love your BNHA headcanons so much! If you don't mind, I really want to hear more about your headcanon where Deku has Recovery Girl's quirk. You don't have to if you don't want to, it's fine! (also sorry for using anon I just get anxiety when I send asks)
bruh 60% of me doesn’t answer asks all the time because anxiety but the other 40% is a combo of poor time management skills and actually being busy (also I activate anonymous asking just for people like you who want to remain, you know, anonymous ( ^▽^) )
For those not in the know, Nonny here is referencing these two posts POST ONE and POST TWO which is an au where Midoriya gets Recovery Girl’s quirk instead of All Might, but is still a hero, and recently includes The Kidnapping:
Recap: Izuku can heal twice as well as Recovery Granny, but at the expense of his own energy as well. He’s still in Class 1-A and everything is the same because All Might needs constant medical care which Midoriya can provide. Sensei/ All for One realizes his importance and has kidnapped him for his own fiendish plans.
Izuku does NOT do well under the villain’s control, but he doesn’t do badly either
Izuku is, overall, well cared for and unharmed the entire time he’s kidnapped by Sensei because why the hell would you hurt the one who holds the health of your subordinates in his hands?
Due to the fact that if he doesn’t cooperate with the villains they’ll BLOW UP A HOSPITAL Deku’s hands are tied
All Might works over time to try and find Deku
He ends up collapsing under all the strain he’s been putting his body under and he’s relegated to bed rest until further notice
Tsukauchi practically has to sit on him in order for him not to sneak out of the hospital room they have him in
Recovery Girl is holding up the best tbh, she’s no stranger to stressful situations and she’ll be damned if she gives the villain satisfaction
In reality Recovery Granny has been super distracted and has taken to frequent breaks so she can get her concentration back
Inko is so stressed out that the Bakugous have started taking turns about watching her to make sure that she still takes care of herself
Bakugou Katsuki beats the fuck out of a villain minion for info and gets suspended from school because of it
He uses that time for deeper investigation into the Villain Alliance’s evil shenanigans
That idiot actually breaks into their hideout all by himself after texting his schoolmates because he’s just heard a rumor that they’re going to move themselves in a few hours and he doesn’t want to take the chance that he’ll lose track of Izuku again
He poses as a pizza boy jfc
that idiot is captured too JFC KACCHAN
Izuku is faced with the Villain Alliance’s leverage right in his face when Dabi manhandles Bakugou to intimidate Midoriya into further cooperation
thankfully, they didn’t destroy Bakugou’s phone
the heroes bust in maybe an hour later and the first one after All Might is Recovery Girl because she’ll HEAL THOSE VILLAINS INTO UNCONSCIOUSNESS

everyone comes out in one piece tho
Izuku transfers pretty much all his healing energy into All Might pre-Sensei battle and so All Might is FUCKING PUMPED and manages to defeat Sensei without revealing his true form on national TV
unfortunately now all the other villains REALLY realize how important Midoriya is to All Might and co.
It’s another mess that will be solves after everyone gets some much needed sleep tbh

Villain Deku AU + Exasperated Dad Might
Deku becomes a villain pretty young and All Might still hasn’t given up heroics because goddamnit he’s not ready to give up being All Might yet. All Might literally cannot fight Villain Deku at full power because this guy is just a KID and doesn’t he have GUARDIAN??? An Adult??? Someone to look after this sassy lost child who definitely shouldn’t be doing such illegal activities???
So All Might finds himself reluctantly stepping into Dad Might role whenever he fights the villain Deku because DAMNIT YOU HAVE YOUR WHOLE AMAZING LIFE AHEAD OF YOU STOP THESE ILLEGAL SHENANIGANS YOUNG MAN
And the whole time Deku can’t decide whether to feel patronized by All Might or thrive off his attention (it’s some unholy mixture of both and the whole time he’s just CONFUSED about his own feelings on the matter) all he knows for sure is that he wants All Might to acknowledge him and his abilities
The whole city is just trying to hold itself together since it’s best hero is apparently trying to parent this unruly villain into submission
It’s got mixed results.
The next porblem he'll face will be how to call all might :dad, father, all might ?
He's going to be so confused
Or if there is the chance of him becoming a big brother
Now that is going to freak him out ..... and now i wanna wach it
How would Deku react to his mother dating All Might? Would he be weirded out and awkward by it? Or would he be happy two people he love are happy with each other? Or would he ship it really hard?
about ten minutes of him being frozen in shock before his thoughts go somewhere along these lines:
“MY MOM IS DATING ALL MIGHT? WHAT??? ?? HOW DID THAT HAPPEN???? WHAT????? WHEN”
“……….. WAIT WOULD THAT MAKE ALL MIGHT MY DAD IF THEY GET MARRIED?”
“Wait isn’t he already kind of like my dad….. WAIT WHAT AM I SAYING OF COURSE NOT….. unless he wants to be…. BUT HE’S BEEN TRAINING ME AND TAKING CARE OF ME FOR OVER A YEAR NOW…..”
“I mean I guess that’s kind of what a dad is like, right? I’ve never had one, technically, since he’s been gone all my life, are my parents even still married? Would that be considered cheating? How would that even work… how did they even start dating…. especially after their last meeting…..”
“Would anything even really change between the three of us, since i’ve been more-or-less under All Might’s care since before UA, It’s weird to admit but he’s kind of like a parent already, I guess? is that how dads are? if they got married would we get a new house? how would……..”
and then he’d just become a mumbling mess and freak out everyone around him as he starts analyzing the micro details of it all
all in all tho i think he’d be really happy for them LOL but really confused at first

“Bakugo, my boy! You didn’t have to go that far!!” All Might gasped out, taken back by all the smoke the boy’s last explosion had produced, their teacher thinking putting Midoriya and Bakugo against one another again a good idea. Bakugo would do anything to win and that need to win would only multiply when Midoriya was involved. He had to beat stupid Deku! So, of course, the second the hothead found an opening he took that opportunity instantly and sent his fists sparking into the other making contact wherever. Midoriya knew that each fight he had with Kacchan, he would only increase in strength but still he faced the other head on, One For All flowing throughout his body. But against someone who had many years to train and enhance their quirk, Midoriya still had a long way to go.
The smoke began to clear and the green haired boy was lifting up off the floor, rubbing at the back of his fluffy, messy head. “Jeez Kacchan…. I gotta get another uniform—!!” Midoriya muttered while dusting himself off, his back towards his classmates.The second he turned around to face the other who attacked him with a powerful blast, his shirt practically crumbled to dust, leaving his upper body exposed entirely. Midoriya was thin but his clothes hid his incredibly toned, ripped body. Defined pecks and rippling abs. He had been focusing more on his arms over the summer and it was surely paying off, all thanks to the strict training All Might gave him.
Uraraka’s face slowly became red hot, she always liked Deku but getting to see this part of him was too much! “Oh wow… I didn’t think he looked like THAT!” Mina gasped out, her already pink cheeks darkening, pointing over at Midoriya but looking over to the quiet blushing girls, Asui and Jiro, who were not sure what to say to this situation. Momo averted her eyes, but the blush still bright on her cheeks, she thought he was impressive but how could she say so?
“He has so moved up on the boyfriend list…” Hagakure admitted and Ojiro laughed at her remark. Aoyama went off on how much more dazzling he was then Deku, making Koda smile quietly to himself, happy about everyone’s great spirits. Even if it was over such a topic.
“WOW! MIDORIYA IS ACTUALLY HELLA MANLY!” Kirishima pointed out, the manliness of his classmates making him proud, Sero agreed with his usual wide smile on his face. Kaminari and Mineta sulked under a gloomy aura behind the chatty class, how could they fall so far behind Midoriya! Sato, Shoji, and Tokoyami just watched everyone chatter with one another, they already knew their classmate was great with no need to see his body.
Bakugo glared, he had seen the weakling be a stick he could easily snap his whole life and now he was this. “Tch!” He scoffed loudly stomping out of the arena, “I’m still way bigger and stronger than that shitty nerd!”
“Bakugo! Refrain from destroying school property and tarnishing our class’s good name!!” Iida went off once Bakugo was close enough, he was used to his friend’s appearance, actually training with him on occasion. Along side Todoroki who would also join the two other boys for work out sessions, stayed quiet. He was confused about everyone’s sudden interest, Midoriya had been like this the whole time, why were they just noticing now.
All Might watched his class with a proud smirk before giving the confused blushing freckled boy a thumbs up. ‘Izuku…..when did you become so coooooool!?’

I’d also like to point out the parallels between Eri and Shigaraki. Eri was left to suffer longer due to strategy. Something that always rubbed me the wrong way about that arc is that besides Mirio and Deku, everyone’s so desperately trying to save her because they knew that was Chisaki’s trump card. Eri’s power is as potentially as destructive as Shigaraki, but she was “lucky” Chisaki was making enough waves for the heroes to notice.
Thank you for pointing out this excellent parallel. This opened my mind to the parallels between the war arc, and the overhaul arc. How both arcs are really about showcasing how massive the divide is between the ideals of hero society “saving people” and hero society’s pragmatic realization “defeating villains”. Once again let’s talk more about hero society underneath the cut.
