Diet and beauty culture feeds into capitalism.
Convince us that the natural human body needs to be painted, starved, and pinched into clothing. And then sell us products to achieve their expectations.
Hate capitalism. Love yourself.
everyone from my high school is living their best lives. i, on the other hand, became an anarchist
I love this guitar so much, y’all have no idea 😄
That newsprint pattern is a collection of news clippings from American protest history, mostly from the ~1960s to the present day. I really enjoyed putting it all together, it’s like I was making an artistic tribute to the movement. There’s shoutouts to the Freedom Riders, the 2020 Black Lives Matter uprisings, the Gaza solidarity encampments earlier this year, the Weather Underground, and so much more. My personal favorite is the headline from the Stonewall riots along the bottom side of the guitar: “GAYS HIT NY COPS” 🫡🏳️🌈
Some of the guitar parts actually work, too! You could flip that switch and spin those tuners. It’s really fun to fidget with when I’m waiting in long lines at cons.
The “stickers” are all accurate to Hobie’s official character art btw!
More pics under the cut~
i hate when you google a word and some fucking company comes up instead. Do you think you are more important than the english dictionary you piece of shit corporation
It really hurts to see how shame-based american culture is. If anyone was wondering, I don't capitalize the a in america because I don't respect capitalism :]
Quick reminder that it's always morally correct to punch nazis.
start saying "im gonna kill somebody" instead of "im gonna kms" to introduce a positive, pro-active mindset ☺️
The other day, me and a few others were talking to a teenage cousin of ours who had just entered the work force full-time. Incidentally, he had also just come back from his week of vacation. He was incredibly upset and near tears, saying that it is terrible how he has to spend every day working and his only "life" gets to happen in his designated 1-2 weeks off per year, and, in his words, "then you die."
A lot of the people listening in started laughing at him and saying that he needs to "grow up and get used to it." How brainwashed do you have to be to say these things, especially to a kid in distress? And especially when the kid is right? He is absolutely, 100% right.
We have so much evidence that this set up is not healthy physically or psychologically. We could absolutely find better ways to ensure things get done without making people feel like overused machines. Everything we do as humans should be about making our lives happier and easier so that we can enjoy this precious little time we have. Everything we do now is instead about making the select few happier while everyone else suffers.
Don't "grow up and get used to it." Keep that youthful feeling of injustice when you realize how unfair it all is. This is not natural. People made society this way and we can unmake it.

As an angelkin who went against God's will and was sent to hell because I was no longer wanted. Fuck the higher ups. Fuck politicians. Fuck president's. Fuck the police. Everything is corrupt. Do not support any of them. You will eventually be thrown away like garbage too. Love thy neighbor but only those who deserve that love.
I hate the Taiwan government
Stop fking usssssss🥲
Daily reminder that we do not actually live in a dystopian movie put the apocalypse down and back away slowly. You know when your cleaning a room and you pull everything out of it's draws to sort through it and you're like "what the fuck have I done I'm never going to be able to tidy all of this" I think that's the stage we're at in the world. Thanks to social media we've pulled out all the messed up shit from the cupboards of the world, it was always there but now we can see it and we're going to have to sort it all out we made this mess and we can fix it. Falling to the floor sobbing will not clean a crusty room. A group of people working systematically (preferably with music in the background) will.

just wanted to remind everyone again not only of the 3,000+ resources offered through our Liberation Library but also of the study guides for beginners offered under each of our social justice topics!
resources can be organized by type (article, novel, podcast, video, etc.) as well as filtered and searched through. we’ve tried to make our system much more accessible than our former platform on google docs so this is such an exciting development to share with everyone.
please share to promote equitable access education!and if you’d like to volunteer with us, check out our open resources committee roles!
REBLOG THIS VERSION! image description by @bonesandblood-sunandmoon below the cut. thank you for writing one!
[Image Description: Six screenshots of beginner study guides on mobile view. The main text visible under each title reads:
Confused on where to start? Better Future Program has organized a study guide just for you! Use the ‘Search’ and ‘Sort’ tools to view only certain types of resources, like articles for visual learners or podcasts for auditory learners. Back to the master document of Social Justice Resources.
Five of the study guides have the start of a list of resources available with color coded resource types visible - Posts have a purple box, for example. Each study guide has an image. Prison/Policing Abolition has an image of chains, Organizing has two humanoid figures hugging, Classism and Anti-Capitalism has a stack of dollar bills, Anarchism has the red ‘A’ in a circle, Mad Studies has a yellow and orange capsule/pill, and Free Palestine has the flag of Palestine.

IF YOU ARE HUNGRY, I WILL OFFER FOOD.
IF YOU ARE THIRSTY, I WILL OFFER WATER.
IF YOU ARE COLD, I WILL OFFER WARMTH.
IF YOU ARE IN NEED, ASK AND I WILL GIVE.
IF YOU ARE IN TROUBLE, ASK AND I WILL HELP.
I DO NOT DO THESE THINGS WITH THE HOPE OF BEING REWARDED.
I DO NOT DO THESE THINGS OUT OF FEAR OF PUNISHMENT.
I DO THESE THINGS BECAUSE I KNOW THEM TO BE RIGHT.
I SET MY OWN STANDARDS AND I ALONE ENFORCE THEM.
