Unfortunately the final chapter of I Can Wait for You at the Bottom will be delayed because AO3 is down for maintenance and I will be in class once the website is up and running again. I will do my best to post it before 6 p.m. Eastern Standard Time but otherwise it will have to wait until tonight... Sorry guys 😔

this whole ao3 being down thing is actually driving me insane i think i’ve read every fic of my faves on here, tried to replay fics i’ve already read before in my head, went back on fanfiction.net and i’m tempted to go as far as looking through wattpad— i’m not okay yall idk what to do w myself it’s been 15 hours since ao3 has worked for me i will keep y’all posted on how long until i lose what remains of my sanity

TLDR: ao3 is currently under attack, and you need to stay off the site to give the volunteers a chance to fix things

So it seems that there’s no reason to believe the reasoning behind the attacks coming from the group attacking ao3. I’ve seen countless other sources saying that they’ve lied during other attacks and this is no different
another update: the ao3 social media accounts have started to say that if it’s up for you, you can use it. If it’s not working for you though, you probably should stop reloading your page over and over again. That’s still going to overload their system

I really mean it. Apparently Anonymous Sudan is getting desperate because this isn't the out come they're hoping for and are trying to do a DNS attack! Which means they will try and redirect you to a malicious website to obtain private information!!!! SO DO NOT GO ONTO AO3 AT ALL FOR YOUR SAFETY!!!!!!!! FOR YOUR SAFTEY DELETE ALL AO3 TABS NOW!
Things today’s taught me:
Download fics you really like because you never know when you’ll need them
Support and donate to sites you use a lot (ao3 is a knee-jerk reach daily for me and basically the whole internet and I will be donating to them next time that season rolls around as I hope many others are)
Ao3 volunteers are under appreciated without question for all they do for this site
Please show the site some love once it’s back up and thank the vols too
In the mean time, let me dust off my google books and scribble hub librarys (and webtoon's too)
