So, I bought a charcoal set. And, I looked up the differences between graphite pencils (I love research) and time to work on drawing people and landscapes.

Me and my friend are doing a small challenge where we draw a little something for 12 days leading up to Christmas. Today, I bring you something thatโs been on the back of my mind ever since I listened to Snow miserโs song this year. Jackโs voice actor, Dylinthedark, actually did a cover of their songs (linked below), so I thought it was fitting.

Hey there! A while ago, on instagram, I posted a short guide to the species of Exernia (the fictional world I created). However, that guide limited each species to one slide and it didnโt really talk about all the stuff I wanted to talk about. Plus, a lot of the stuff is now outdated and I CAN DO BETTER.
Snug was the first shapeshifter I ever made. He was my persona at the time (not anymore though) and I called his species โCrownies.โ That sucked so I changed it.
Some additional info I couldnโt figure out how to fit:
They still require the same organs that living things usually have (heart, lungs, etc) but where they are differs
Shapeshifters are often mistrusted by the majority of people on Exernia because of their ability to shift, many people defaulting them to criminals or cheats.
Shapeshifters are more rare than other species because of their unique reproductive system.
Unlike some species, like Ogres and Elementals, shapeshifters donโt have a unique shared culture.

Halloooooo itโs been a bit since Iโve done a fully rendered thing.
I spent a good while on this one and Iโm neutral to the outcome. Thereโs something that feels a little off with it, but itโs alright. Also this is a screenshot redraw of that one scene in into the spider verse because LOTD McQueen gives me BIG Peter B. Parker vibes.
This is a drawing of @x-eightballโs AU (look on the Darkside) where Dooley was gone for 10 years rather than one. He gets fired from TLPD and has to go around basically doing freelance paranormal investigator stuff. Go check it out, itโs really cool and angsty and stuff. :)

Oddly enough, no, I was never super into hetalia. But, my style was practically just anime when I was younger. Mostly Pokรฉmon and Tokyo Mew Mew, but I fell out of it in middle school. :(
Big cotl au doodle dump!! Mostly ocs to try and build up the cult and general concept of what makes my au an au! It's been fun thinking about these sillies <3

Anyways! I had this idea in my head for a bit and finally pulled the trigger to draw it! I ended up really proud with how this turned out (I love messing with adding different hues in the face <3)
