You know that smut you like? Y’know, the really, REALLY good one? You know that one? Yeah?
An asexual wrote that.
And that really good romantic fluff you like? The really cute one, the domestic fluff? Y’know that one?
An aromantic wrote that.
So before you go to sleep reading fanfiction tonight, be sure to thank all the asexuals and aromantics that are writing your favorite fics!
Because no, we are not the pure little children you think we are.
Everybody say thank you a-specs!
Thank you a-specs!
Alright, I’ll let you go now :3

I make sex jokes because sex is a joke to me.
‘Why do you make sex jokes if your asexual? Doenst that mean you want sex’
Bestie I can make jokes about being impaled on a spike medieval torture style, doesn’t mean I want to
Ok does anyone else constantly hear that “A girl and a guy can’t just be friends one of them is going to catch feelings at some point.” Because I hear it all the time and that can’t possibly be true because that would mean that every single one of my guy friends has had a crush on me. Because I can tell you I did not have a crush on them, I’ve never had a crush on anyone I’m aroace
Imagine being an arospec and genuinely falling in love with fictional characters cause they aren't real you can freely imagine yourself being in a relationship with them but now whenever you see them getting shipped with canon characters you get jealous. Like mfr that's my husband/wife/partner and we are already married in my head.
Bonus if you don't even imagine a romantic relationship with them and it's just a slowburn mutual pinning delusion scenario.
happy ace awareness week w iconic aroace fav, georgia warr from loveless 🖤💜🤍💚

Minority Monsters is now available as a PDF for pay-what-you-want. In addition to the great comics, there is information about each monster’s identity and the myths about it. It’s pretty, funny, and informative!
As promised, the minority monster pdf book is now available for FREE on Itch.io
https://tabkimpton.itch.io/minority-monsters
Pay whatever you want folks, and please share this about so people who can’t afford a physical copy can still get a big ol’ book of LGBTQIA* creatures.
If you haven’t read Tab’s Minority Monsters comics, I highly recommend them! I’m about to succumb to the added temptation of the ace succubus charm and buy the print copy for myself. (I’m pretty sure I can find someone who would like a charm if I win the giveaway, too.)

[swoon!] It’s so cute -- that smug smile, those adorable little fangs!
Just a little self-indulgent doodle of a cuddly ace-colored critter. I so rarely do stuff that’s just fun for me, so hey, why not! I hope that all you aces out there have had a good Pride Month!
Hi! Thanks so much for following my blog, here is your moodboard. I hope you like it :)
Stay awesome!
[Fran: Squee! I love it! Thank you very much @acelepuff!!]
Asexual dragons and unicorns -- maybe that’s why they prefer virgins.
Mythical asexual moodboard
Ace cupcakes!
this took forever, but I think it’s worth it
for all of my ace folks out there <3
I think most of the people following me know me well enough to know that I’d be fine with questions, but I’ll reblog just in case.
I feel like a lot of people don’t want to ask questions they have about gender/sexuality to LGBT people because they don’t want to offend them because we talk about cishet people asking stupid or intrusive questions a lot
But actually when you’re questioning it’s really helpful to be able to ask some ‘stupid’ questions although you’re too afraid to
So can y'all LGBTQIA+ people reblog this if you’re totally fine with people asking questions about your gender/sexuality, as long as they do so respectfully
Is there something about aces and coffee? Honestly, the only time I can stand the flavor is when I’m kissing someone I love who has just drunk coffee.
Ready for a long ace-centric metaphor about sex?
Alright, so. Coffee. I don’t drink coffee. I have no desire to drink coffee. I find people who enthusiastically go on about the flavor differences of lattes, espressos, and french press brews, both amusing and mildly baffling. All the coffee ads. Coffee jokes. Bustling coffee shops. To me, all coffee is similarly bitter and unpleasant. I have been through so many “Try this, it’s sweet! You can’t even taste the coffee!” Alas, I always can. And I’m sensitive to caffeine anyway. So, I don’t really think about drinking it when I wake up or am tired.
Yet I love the smell of coffee. I love the idea of coffee. The feeling of a warm cup taking the chill from my fingers, the cozy ritual of having a drink and chat. I might try someone’s coffee. If they ask, if I want to please them and share in something they enjoy. I am also perfectly capable of learning the preferences of those I care about and creating a cup for their pleasure.
But I don’t want coffee, generally speaking. I will probably make a face after trying their coffee and wash the taste out with something else. They may rush to reassure me that it is an acquired taste. And I’ll have to reply that it’s a taste I don’t particularly care about acquiring in the way they did. ‘Drink it till you like it’ will never work for me.
But that doesn’t mean I am against coffee or think people shouldn’t drink it. Doesn’t mean I’ve taken a vow to never drink any. And sure, maybe if you get one of those sugar and whipped cream disasters, more of a warm milkshake than a cup of coffee, I’ll probably be happier sipping it with you. But honestly? I’d rather smell someone else’s coffee and not be expected to drink it. I’d really rather have the heat and sweetness of my hot cocoa.
Yes to all of the above!

Discriminating against people based on their religion, ethnicity, skin color, or anything else is just as wrong in the QUILTBAG community as it is anywhere else. The ways some members of a religion use it to justify doing terrible things to other people is horrible, whether that’s Islam, Christianity, Buddhism, atheism, or anything else. However, that does not mean that the religion itself is horrible, or that all of its followers should be blamed for those people’s actions.
anyway here’s your reminder that lgbt muslims exist and islamophobia shouldnt be tolerated within lgbt communities!
shout out to lgbt muslims living in places where our identities are still criminalised.
I don’t have the kind of phone that can use these, but they’re pretty!

Asexuality doesn’t have anything to do with the color of your skin!
I wanted to do this piece for two reasons; One, honestly, I saw a post about different eye types, and I really wanted to explore that and that created an urge to draw people of different ethnicities.
But the big reason is that in the ace community, people tend to associate it with white people. There’s a lot of racism and aphobia that goes into this too, like, saying that it’s a “white person’s thing”, and it isn’t. Anybody of any race or religion or gender can be asexual. It isn’t like, a “white person thing”. And I know a lot of POC feel excluded due to all of the overbearing whiteness in the ace community. I really??? Wanted to try to make people feel okay you know??? Shoot. Like, I couldn’t draw too many face types, but- I really– really want more representation for ace people of colour.
Anyway, please take care.
There aren’t many things that have more pride than a peacock.
Pride flag peacocks!
These are all available on my new redbubble!
Um, yeah, I definitely support asexuals.
It terrifies me that there’s so much raging passion in the lgbt+ community that insist on marginalizing asexuals and implying that asexuals don’t deserve to have safe spaces. There’s still so much acephobia so I just wanna know which blogs are genuinely supportive and a safe space for asexuals
I kindof want some of these as pins. Seriously, if the only part of “homosexual,” “bisexual,” “asexual,” “pansexual,’ etc. that you hear is “-sexual,” the problem is with you, not me.
this has probably been done already but oh well
because tumblr has been marking things as sensitive, feel free to use these or w/e
I don’t think I realized that sexual attraction was really the way it’s portrayed in stories until I learned about asexuality. I would accept it for the sake of the story, but I still have trouble, sometimes, believing that it’s any more real than telepathy or werewolves.
IM LAUGHING SO HARD I DIDNT THINK SEXUAL DESIRE WAS A REAL THING LIKE I ALWAYS SAW PEOPLE TALKING ABOUT HOW THEY WANTED SEX BUT I THOUGHT THEY WERE JOKING OR EXAGGERATING OR SOMETHING THATS WHY IT WAS SO HARD FOR ME TO REALIZE I WAS ACE BECAUSE I THOUGHT IT WENT WITHOUT SAYING SEX ISNT THAT IMPORTANT IM 19 YEARS OLD I CANT STOP LAUGHING LITERALLY 99% OF THE POPULATION EXPERIENCES SEXUAL DESIRE AND I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE
