Not too long ago, I was looking at your heartwarming artwork of Carla befriending the prison dog in your artwork! That’s such a wonderful idea! I feel like even post redemption Carla might go down every once in awhile just to visit the dog, who misses her company. I can even imagining Gabe having trouble feeding the dog, and all i of f a sudden Carla appears behind him and helps him approach the dog in a gentler way❤️ Your artwork is really inspiring!

I feel like it would make logical sense that the dog is normally there in the dungeon when they have prisoners, not for the purposes of guarding it, but for the purpose of making sure the prisoner isn't lonely. I like to think that when Carla was imprisoned she got to take it out for walks when the guards were with her, and that she was later also given a rubber ball so she could play fetch with it.

I mentioned that political stuff in the last post but somehow I forgot to mention Naomi! Since she’s Chancellor, she's in the middle of the kingdom's politics, so she'd be at Elena's side for all those possible incidents, giving her advice and support.
Naomi finally getting to travel around as Chancellor and visit the other kingdoms on political business would be nice. Because then she could live her dream of sailing around the world even more, but she'd be earning money while doing it. Plus, she has Elena by her side so it's a win-win-win!
Also, I want to see her hire a staff and establish more government positions in the Kingdom. I mean who's even maintaining Nuva Vista now that Cristobal is gone? So she sets up a more detailed federal and municipal government systems that are still ultimately ruled by Elena but now the people can be heard even better. Because the Queen just can't be everywhere at once, even if she has magic. (Now that I'm thinking about it, she would probably try an “everywhere at once” spell first before they did this). I would find it entertaining, but most people probably wouldn't so it would likely be done in the form of multiple upbeat musical montages, or off screen.
For Mateo, I'd like to see him teaching his magic classes. Maybe him leading the guards in a training exercise on how to properly use magic against villains, monsters, or natural disasters. (More of Mateo fighting stuff with cool magic). Plus Mateo training Olivia, Carla, and Victor on how to help people using magic. Just a whole episode where they're just going around town and solving problems with magic, (and at one point they sing a cool theme song they've made up for themselves in an 80s style montage)!
It would also be fascinating to watch Mateo learning more complex Master Level spells. Maybe even the most elusive one of all, a healing spell! Perhaps he could go through an arc where he finds more permanent solutions to some of their monster problems. Keeping the monsters in jars & books only means that eventually they might escape, and then you'll just have to hunt them down again. So why not find a way to safely reform them? Kizin could get to see his friends again!
That’s an amazing chart you have of everybody’s tomborita colors! Though would Victor and Carla’s tamborita colors have changed since they now practice good magic instead of dark magic?
Thank you! And about their magic colours, well we cannot truly know for certain. The only spells that we see them do after they switch to good magic is that sparkly flourish spell they cast along with Gabe and Mateo at the end of The Lightning Warrior, and the spell that Victor cast in the finale at Ash. For the first one, I don't think it really counts towards showing their true magic colour because some spells like Conglari are always the same colour no matter who casts them, and that was probably one of those kinds of spells (I mean none of them even had to say anything before they cast it so it was probably just for show). The spell that Victor does in Coronation Day is still that dark blue/purple colour that he normally uses (Although out of all the tamborita users his colour seems to be the one that fluctuates the most). But we never got to see Carla cast another spell so we can't really be sure whether it was just a coincidence or not.
In my personal opinion though, I headcannon that they stayed the same. I like to think that there aren't really any colours that truly mean good or evil. It’s how the person decides to use their own magic, whatever color it may be, that makes it good or evil.
Hi there, this is a Random headcanon that I had about Carla: In an episode Carla said "I can play him like a Violin" So I thought that maybe she can play the violin. what do you think?
Yes, headcanon accepted! I can picture it now, her in the carriage travelling with her father practicing it as they roll along together. Anything from a piece with a slow melodic flow to a fast-paced gig.
I've always headcanoned that Victor can play the accordion (Esteban and Elena were learning to play the guitar and he wanted to be different) And those two instruments go very well together! Even in their song “Way Back When” two of the main instruments are the accordion and the violin, so it works thematically as well.

Really? Oh wow I did not know that, I do eat a lot of edible flowers, leaves, and berries that I pick when I’m outside. So next time I have the opportunity, I might just try that out.
Hi! You’re the artist who drew that fun short of Victor and Ixlan called “Night on the Town”, correct? I know it was a while back, but I remember reading that you wrote a fanfic based on it? If so, could you give me a link or tell me where I can find it? I’d love to read it if you wrote it!
Hi Anon, yes you're correct, and it was really fun to make! I still definitely think that Victor & Ixlan became friends after the events of “The Lightning Warrior”.
I think what you might be remembering is how I mentioned in that post that I had “sketches & a drawing, and a tiny fanfiction.” By “tiny fanfiction” I was referring to the four paragraphs I wrote after the sketches that describe the context of what's happening in them. I mean technically I guess it's too short to be called a “fanfiction” now that I'm thinking about it, maybe they would be considered headcanons?
But if you want me to write a longer version of it, I might just be able to do that. When I was making the drawings I had plenty of ideas for possible stuff that could be in it if it was a longer story, I just didn't get around to writing it.

❤️= Favorite ships? ⚔️ = Unpopular opinion? I'm going to answer both at once, because why not.
One of the things that really sold me on the show in the first place was the fact that it didn't have any of the main characters constantly pining, like most other shows in it’s genre do. Don't get me wrong, I still love those other shows, but I feel like most of the romantic subplots with the main characters were the weakest parts of them. Only occasionally does Elena of Avalor have episodes on romance as the focus and that was always with grown ups and/or side characters. I feel like shows should do that more often.
That being said as far as ships go, well… I like all the cannon married & dating couples, I don't have any problems with any of them. But as far as most fan-made ships go, I'm pretty neutral about most of them (or I am a big multishipper with them). I see a nice piece of art/fic for them and I'm like “Oh that's a nice piece of art/fic” but I wouldn't live or die for that ship.
But I have to admit I do absolutely love Rafictor, it's definitely a favourite, but I like some other ships that have either of them in them as well. Ixlan/Antonia is another favourite, (although I guess the show was the one that suggested that ship in the first place). And I really like any of the possible combinations of the four Amigos with each other, I'm just very glad that the show didn't explicitly say that any of them are cannon, because that makes them all equally valid. (Although I guess I'm biased towards a certain one of them if you look at a couple of certain posts of mine).
Who do you think the new Captain of the guard should be now that Gabe is general? I think Antonia Bello should be the new captain.
I find myself agreeing with you on that one Anon, even though she doesn't have as much seniority as a lot of the other guards, out of all the ones we've seen she does seem to be the best pick. The important thing about being Captain isn't being able to run the fastest or or jump the highest (Which is why I thought the competition for becoming royal guard Captain in ‘The Curse of El Guapo’ was kind of ridiculous). Instead one needs to have intelligence, patience, and good problem-solving skills, traits that she has in spades.
And the only other main candidate who comes to mind is Rico, and I just don't think he's as good for the job. Don't get me wrong, he's a good guard but he seems more likely to make rash decisions then she does. Maybe if the royal guard expands enough that they end up needing more Captains he could do a good job as another Captain, but for now it's probably best he says a lieutenant.
how do you think is older, Elena or Esteban?
Don't get me wrong, but isn’t Esteban at least 40 years older than her? Ha ha, just joking! I know you're asking which one was born first, I get it. I think it was probably Esteban and he was born about a year before she was. But that's just my headcanon.

Do I take requests? Well I guess I could start taking requests if you had some, but it would depend on the request. I'm not doing any kind of special request meme or anything right now, but if someone were to request me something and it was an idea that I would approve of, I might draw it.
And ships...well I guess if I liked the ship I could draw it. Although you'd also have to give me an idea for what you wanted the characters to be doing/poses you'd want them to be in, because I am rubbish at coming up with ideas for how characters act when they're being in a ship.
And I'm fine with you asking questions so politely like this! I ask tons of questions to people that are like these as well.

👑 - Favorite character?
(I've already answered with my favourite human before so...) My favourite jaquin character is Luna. She's sassy, she's clever, and she has some of the best lines. Her song absolutely rocks. Her arc, though not the biggest one in the show, was enjoyable. Plus her colours and design work really well, you don't normally see pink and orange together if they're not accompanied by other colours, but she really pulled it off.
🌼 - Favorite episode?
For this one I'm going to go with “The Sceptre Of Night.” I haven't really been keeping track but it's probably the episode I’ve re-watched the most. It's always great to see a team Avalor adventure episode! They were all particularly good in this one, and we got all four main jaquins as well. Mateo’s song is just amazing, one of the best songs in the series. The humour in it is fantastic, all of Fiero and Victor's interactions are just perfection. (Plus I could personally relate to how Victor snuck up on Fiero. I used to do that all the time to my friends, until I realized that I needed to stop that or else I wouldn't have any friends). And I love how the episode showed it's lesson not only with Mateo, but with Victor as well. Both of them were so caught up in trying to find the Sceptre first, more for their own personal reasons than the good of the group’s, that they stepped on the rest of the group's toes and caused major issues. So that was an interesting parallel. Overall a solid episode and my favorite one in that arc.

👑 - Favorite character? Victor Delgado. (He's the character I draw and think about the most, so logic dictates that he's probably my favourite). At first he seems like just a mildly threatening/fun villain, but as the show progressed you start to really care about him. Mainly because he's a good dad, that is a very important thing. But I don't think he really became my favourite character until “The Magic Within,” because as the old saying goes: When you can't have something, it just makes you want to have it more.
🌼 - Favorite episode? There are quite a few episodes that I really enjoyed. So just like Elena has more than one best friend, I have more than one favourite episode. But this time I think I'll talk about “Crash Course.” Bronzino’s song was great, the subplot was good at developing Dona Paloma, and it was really cute to see the guard squad together! But the heart of this episode was Gabe and Mateo’s relationship. From them sassing each other, to their fight, to them making up and sharing their insecurities with each other, and then working together to save the day, it was great!
👸🏽- If you could write a 4th season of the show, what would you have in store for elena’s future?
Elena must have a much greater scope of political abilities unlocked now that she has been crowned Queen, so would be interesting to see some of those. I also want to see her deal with a super serious political issue the outcome of which could determine the fate of the Kingdom. Like trying to stop a corrupt kingdom/organization from going to war with Avalor. (They do have a lot of powerful magical resources, I could easily see an unscrupulous evil ruler wanting to get their hands on them). And then Elena has to use her political negotiation skills to stop them! If all else fails she could deploy the royal guard against them and see how that goes.
Speaking of the royal guard I would want to see more of General Núñez (He probably has some extra executive powers now too) truly leading them to be the best Royal Guard they can be. Maybe there's a bit of a fallout from Coronation Day, because even though the guards had learned magic by that point they weren't able to protect the palace and the town from the shades. Maybe Gabe has to build back up their morale. And after that they train more and become strong enough to actually defeat magical monsters and criminals. Or maybe they have to fight off an attack from that corrupt Kingdom, and save the Avalor in the process. (Also I wouldn't want to see any of the guards die per se, but if one of them got seriously injured it would be interesting to see how Gabe would react to that as well…) (I could talk about this all day but this answer is getting a bit long, but if anyone wants to ask me more about it I'd definitely keep expanding my ideas on this, or what I think other characters would be doing...)
In the show Carla is taller than Tomiko, so why did you draw her shorter thab tomiko in your drawing?
Hi Anon, I actually did not notice that until you pointed it out. Normally when I'm drawing two characters I use references from the scenes that they've been in together and I can sort of eye how tall and short they are, but since there wasn't a scene with them together I just subconsciously assumed Tomiko was taller.
