I made this in honor of American Astronaut and Physicist Doctor Sally Ride, who became the first American Woman in Space on June 18, 1983.
This drawing was a blast for me to make of such a remarkable woman, I hope y'all find it's subject as interesting as I do.
The Flight of Freedom 7
Launched from Cape Canaveral 62 years ago today Astronaut Alan B. Shepard, Jr. became the first American in Space, during a fifteen minute suborbital flight aboard the Mercury Redstone 4 capsule Freedom 7. After a successful mission Shepard's capsule splashdown in the Atlantic Ocean and was recovered aboard a waiting Aircraft Carrier the USS Lake Champlain; Taking America's earliest steps in the Space Race which would eventually led to American Astronauts walking on the moon eight years later.

Astronauts jumping on the moon with teletubbies music is the dumbest and cutest thing I've ever seen in a while.
"Hello~"
His wings are deformed. He is an angel born from the singularity of a black hole. In order to escape the powerful gravitational force, his original wings were deformed and twisted, but this also gave him the ability to exceed the speed of light. He would not easily show up because of his wings, and even if he did, he would wear a something to cover them up.
His visor cannot reflect anything like other angels.

"Mr. Cosmonaut, what do the stars look like in your eyes?"
If you are lucky, you can see him looking at the stars in an empty observatory. He only appears during night and will vanish when the sun rises. He may appear at any observatory but only if you're extremely lucky. He speaks in a language that sounds like any languages on Earth but when you listen closely, it doesn't sounds like anything at all.
(Why did I even spend my time on this? But I kinda like how it turned out so that's a win.)

QUIZ
(So I had this idea while listening to QUIZ.) Abraham and Abigail being astronauts and were out somewhere in space, but something happened that cause them to crash on an unknown planet, Abraham died and Abigail somehow survived the fall(still seriously injured). She managed to survive for three months on the planet before dying from the injuries, in the time she actively sent out distress signals to Earth, but it took 70 years for those signals to reach Earth.
So I wanted to draw Lincoln riding a mecha in space but I was too tired to finish it or have the time to do so.
I'm drawing it in 初音電撃作戦's way.
Talking about favorite things. (I'm the little fox-like thing.)
The thing on his chest is a camara and a gravity adjuster. (His body has adapted to low/zero gravity enviroment and Earth's gravity is too heavy for him.)

I couldn't draw the background properly so I used a picture, brighten it up for desired effect.
I came up with the idea "16 as a NASA astronaut" and "A star brighter than Sirius."

The first all-woman spacewalk
Today the first ever spacewalk consisting of entirely women occured!
Here are the two women who were a part of this EVA.
Christina Koch
Age 40
Two Bachelor of Science degrees, Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering
Jessica Meir
Age 42
PhD in Marine Biology, Master of Space Studies
It is standard procedure for spacewalks to consist of more than one person. That way if something bad happens to one astronaut, the other can be there to help immediately.
Previous spacewalks were either a single male in the early days, multiple males, or a mix of men and women. Today the first ever all-woman spacewalk took place with two women going outside the International Space Station.
NASA has stated "The all-woman spacewalk wasn't something we purposefully planned, though. It was bound to happen eventually because of the increasing number of female astronauts. Koch's and Meir's 2013 class of astronaut candidates was 50 percent women.
"Spacewalk assignments are always made on the basis of which astronauts are best prepared to accomplish the tasks at hand under the conditions at the time. Spacewalks are not easy; astronauts typically describe them as the most physically challenging thing they do."
The mission lasted about 6 hours and was to replace a battery on the exterior of the station that failed to activate after prior testing (most spacewalks have objectives this boring).
Tracy Caldwell Dyson, another female NASA astronaut, remarked "Hopefully this will now be considered normal"
