Sean closely looks at the claw mark
Sean: It's definitely not from a mammal, it's too big.
Sean: Such large lifeforms are rare.
Sean: The marks can be compared easily up close, and if I didn't have just a picture, identification would be easier.
Sean: Now, don't freak out about this, it's happened on too many occasions-
Sean moves his right arm from behind his back, revealing the red crystal and scorched bone exoskeleton on his arm and hand. He has.. unsettlingly large claws.
Sean: It looks similar to a mark of my claws, though it looks slightly large.
Sean: Is there still access to the location of the mark? I may need to run a few tests.

Vee: yes, it’s unfortunately a long walk from here though. If we’re lucky, we may encounter the thing that made the scratch marks.
