Draw a llama (or multiple) that have to do with elements! Fire llama, water llama, helium llama, grass llama
Aang the human
Idk I was just drawing Aang in silly clothes and a ATLA and Undertale combo au was born 💀
Idk if I’m gonna do more but it’s just fun
Alts under break
Korra as Kris
If dangerous ideas didn't excite the imagination, we would never wander astray.
AKA the Gaang in an Arcane AU
Thinking about how Zuko was very close with his mother, grew up with all female friends, and instantly fell into a nurturing, parental role with his little half sister. No wonder he made such an excellent father for Izumi.
It really gets to me how many strong female influences Zuko had in his life and how that must have shaped him. He would have made such a good partner for Katara. He would have loved and cared for their children deeply.
Sokka, what are you doing in my Haiku death match?
Some people have waaaay too much time on their hands.... not that I mind in this case
Sludge ...
basically wat happened my roommate brought a skull goblet into our abode and thus i was stricken w inspiration
It is important to draw wisdom from many different places. If you take it from only one place, it becomes rigid and stale. Understanding others, the other elements, and the other nations will help you become whole.
Naturally Zuko has the prettiest smile on the planet - people who never smile always do - and the first time Katara sees it, it’s like a punch in the gut. She needs to see him smile again. No - more than that, she needs to be the reason he smiles again.
Somehow it ends up being a lot easier than she anticipates.
brown eyes suki propaganda
the katara drawings under the cut
daughter so much cute 💔💔💔💔 daughtrer
Apparently, Zuko is also an instant juice 🤣.
Походу, Зуко - это теперь и растворимый сок 🤣.
One piece of Avatar lore I don't quite believe is that most avatars don't learn they're the avatar until they're told on their 16th birthday.
like, POV you're some Earth Kingdom kid who knows the previous Water Tribe avatar died suspiciously close to the time you were born. You CANNOT tell me that that entire class-year of starry bright-eyed children doesn't spend every waking moment trying to prove they're the avatar. "Shut up Hang Lee you're not the avatar I'M the avatar. That stream just moved toward me." "Nuh-uh a fish did that and Avatar Tepek died on the summer solstice and YOU'RE a winter baby." "All the seasons are opposite in the water tribe Hang Lee!" "Nuh-uh"
You're 8 years old with all your other 8-year-old friends at your first day of How To Throw A Rock Class you CANNOT tell me that every kid present doesn't waste half the class trying to catch grass on fire with all the sincerity and conviction of a gas station hopeful snagging a mega-millions lotto ticket with their Mars bar and $30 gas fill-up.
What if air nomads are pacifists bc they used to do shit like suffocating people and then saw the destruction they caused so turned away from it 🤔🤔
secret lore 👀? what if the reason why air nomads distance themselves from the rest of the world is because they don’t want to be tempted back into that cycle of violence
so when Zuko joins the Gaang and this happens:
he’s probably freaked out (rightfully so) but in the back of his mind he’s probably also thinking “worst comes to worst, I could probably fight her” until:
this happens and he’s like:
and immediately starts reevaluating every bender he’s ever met, thinking of every time Katara totally could’ve killed him, and is forever grateful that she has morals lol
bonus post war convo between Zuko and Azula:
Tbh I don’t even ship zutara all that much but I love this man so much
actors about ships approximately 95% of the time: Oh, I don’t know, I mean maybe someday or in a different world, but I mean their dynamic is great how it is too, right? haha, I dunno, anyway-
meanwhile, dante basco:
Sokka: Aang y'know how you took away Ozai’s firebending?
Aang: I recall yes
Sokka: can I have it
Aang: …what?
Sokka: can I have his firebending. just for like ten minutes
Aang: what no
Sokka: why not I wanna prank zuko
Aang:
Aang:
Aang: okay five minutes

Damn what if you told your dad he mispronounced a word during a zoom meeting and he disowned you for embarrassing him and told you you were only welcome back home if you found bigfoot so you spend three years travelling the world to find bigfoot but along the way you become friends with bigfoot and teach him how to fight so he beats up your dad for you
one thing i think is so Neat about atla is how all the main bender characters have an arc that corresponds to their "opposite" element. zuko's arc is about the capacity to change yourself and your worldview, and the culmination of his arc is learning a move inspired by waterbending. katara is all about passion and drive, wanting to become a great waterbender and fight for what she believes in, and over the course of the show she comes into her power. toph's arc involves getting free of her restrictive family and connecting with a community, and aang's arc is about learning to stand fast in his beliefs and confront difficult issues head-on. it's a beautiful bit of symmetry that reinforces the show's point about the illusion of separation
