The way they said "I love you"
Pat: "When I have a lover, I always let my lover win" Pran: "I've always wanted to cook a favorite dish for someone I like"
I want to point out something SO important about this episode…
This scene right here. Omg. I got emotional. The way Pat was originally coming over to continue their teasing, but saw that Pran was in a sad mood so he changed his tune real quick to become a more lighthearted and supportive person for Pran to lean on. They understand each other in ways even their friend groups wouldn’t understand 😭😭
#our walking green flag once again (2)
You said your wish is to cook a favorite dish for someone you like. As for me, when I have a lover, I always let my lover win. When was I ever your lover? You might not be now. But you will be soon.

Bad Buddy Series Episode 3 - Behind the Scenes

bonus: some tired boys
"oh! i've got him confused about his feelings to me"
this line! this line is just so important in seeing pat this whole episode. boy really thinks pran is confused about his feelings because of the kiss. he really is so clueless. maybe he thought pran is avoiding him because it's awkward or something. like looking at his persistence through this lens and how he literally crossed all those lines, pran's mom and group of friends, with no clue as to them being two of the biggest obstacles holding pran down? what would he have done if he knew the truth?
pat was just putting himself out there for pran to be within his reach. for pran to not feel awkward. for pran to know that he is still next to him. i honestly can't even find enough words or the right words to describe him.
Pat adjusting himself so Pran could feel comfortable enough to deal with his own feelings will be forever one of the best things a BL series ever gave us. It shows how much in love he is and how much he cares about Pran's feelings and pace. They both knows they like each other, but Pat also knows Pran needs a reason to face, without fearing it, this new path their relationship took, so he gave him exactly this.
secret (nanon's cover)
Pran has a plan and that plan is foolproof because his friends are fools and they fell for it.
Bonus - It's not all a lie
This moment is so important. When they finally discuss their pain aloud, forgive one another, and put the blame where it rightfully belongs; on their parents. While reassuring each other that in spite of everything that's happened and the pressure from the people around them, they definitely don't hate each other. & it breaks my heart how desperately they both (but especially Pran) needed to hear that but the relief on their faces when they do makes it all worth it. This is the moment they finally begin to break free from the influence of their families. NOW they can start moving forward together.
- It’s nothing
- What do you mean?
- It doesn’t mean anything.
Oooof didn't realise these two will end up clashing...dang ...may have to consider not starting not me when it airs...how will I fend off the spoilers thooo
i’m sorry for the person i’ll become when not me starts airing at the same time as bad buddy. it’s gonna be gmm lockdown in this house.
You know what I really love about it? I love that nobody explained Pat's feelings to him, nobody told him 'you're acting like this or that you must be into him'. He felt what he felt, and yes he got a nudge from Paa's 4 signs, but he went on this journey of discovery on his own, he really sat with himself and worked it out, and thought it through. He went all the way back through their history and questioned what he felt and did even then. His realisation came from within, it wasn't something anybody pushed him to, not even Pran. It came straight from his own heart.
There's a line in Pran's perspective from the novel that I really love that sparked for me here: There were times when I looked at Pat's face while treating his wounds and wondered what he meant to me. Here, Pat is the one who is going on that journey of trying to figure out what Pran means to him, and he's doing it not because anybody pointed something out to him, but because he felt something within himself and chose to explore it rather than ignore it like he would have done before. And he doesn't really discuss it with anybody, not Paa, not Korn, not Ink. Even when they try to draw him out about what he's thinking he demurs. He doesn't want anybody else's voice in his head about this. There's going to be enough of that if what he discovers within himself is love, enough voices saying this and that. And because it's Pran, something in him knows that he has to be absolutely sure if this is the path he's going to take. He can't go into this on a whim or anything less than 100% certainty. Because once he makes that move there will be absolutely no turning back.
