EVERYTHING IS WRONG, COUNT IN YOUR HEAD
NEVER LOOK TO THE SCREENS
PERFORM MORE FOWARD THAN UP
DON’T FORGET YOUR SHOES ON THE BUS AFTERWARDS
MAKE A HORNY BRASS PUN BEFORE YOU LEAVE
YOUR PRE-SHOW RITUAL MAY NOT HAPPEN WITH TIME CONSTRAINTS
YOU WILL CATCH EVERYTHING WITHOUT WIND
TURN OUT THAT LUNGE! YOU LOOK FABULOUS
THE TUNNEL IS UNNECESSARILY SCARY AND ANXIETY BUILDING
Just guard things
Having to sneeze under a cross-toss
Seriously that feeling when everyone had a good run, and the butterflies kick in with the belief that your going to do something amazing. It’s incredible. Absolute Run of my life
We’re on our way to a UIL competition trying to quickly do all of our make up and suddenly the radio starts blaring.
The bus that the pit crew was on had its belt break and the bus started flaming; since the 2nd guard bus had the most space we were designated to pit up the crew.
When the bus stopped it was a mad dash to get eyelashes and mascara on, absolute chaos.
Then the pit comes on and they were in the back of the bus with the flag bags and stuff, I was the only guard child completely surrounded by pit members
And they were laughing about how much hair spray and glitter was in the air. This was fabulous
And surprisingly an interesting experience, being a freshman completely surrounded by Junior and Senior Pit crew.
But all of your other runs have been shit
And it’s gone over multiple fences
Is it normal to get super protective of your gear To the point where you will fight if you so much as see someone looking at your flags wrong?
Here’s a tip, from an idiot freshman.
Don’t
Over
Do
The
Toss
Even
If
You
Can
Lights are expensive
They always say dropping is a choice
But so is catching with your hands
