Hello! Ao3 has been part of an unauthorized data scrape for GenAI purposes. If your fic has an ID number between 1 and 63200000, it may be a part of the data set and you can file a DMCA copyright infringement notice on the American sites it was uploaded to. Each of you will need to request a takedown.
Here’s a link to the information.
It is a reddit link, but it has the other links you’ll need in one place.

Talking to my mom about BBC Sherlock and having to pretend I didn't binge through three seasons of it, retain knowledge about every episode, have read a few metas at this point and ship Johnlock
So I was scrolling on Pinterest - as one does - and I came across a post stating that the number John's blog is stuck on in I believe ASiB was the same as the year Sherlock Holmes fell into the Reichenbach falls in the ACD canon, 1895.
Now, this in itself is wild, but then my mind brought up another thing I saw a few days ago, a meme on Tumblr (if someone wants the link I can send it)
So
The reason they left London in 1895 (I assume in the same story with the Reichenbach Falls but I can't know for certain) was described as 'circumstances in which I need not enter' or something and people in this thread connected it to Oscar Wilde's trial for 'gross indecency' (aka being gay) which took place in the same year.
N o w, as a reminder, John's count on his website froze on 1895. In this year, Oscar Wilde was sentenced for gross indecency, Holmes and Watson went out of town presumably for that reason AND the Reichenbach Fall of the original stories.
While the number could stand for the original Reichenbach Fall, I don't really see where that would go BUT what if it stands for Oscar Wilde's trial? And for ACD Holmes and Watson being out of town because of it?
In my opinion, if we combine this with the 'Irene ships Johnlock' theory I read on @inevitably-johnlocked 's blog (it's a lot more complicated than that but that she basically knows something is going on), this could be her doing, trying to make fun of them or give them a hint in the right direction. Who knows? Not me, I'm just here to collect the puzzle pieces.
Gotta get through this, two more episodes of this weird shit and then... then I'll probably open up AO3 and look for fix-its
This fandom does not have it easy huh
What the actual fuck was that
Huh????
It's like... Sherlock and Mary, featuring John as a side character who is stupid every now and then but otherwise unimportant
And the finale?????? It felt so... staged and John didn't even help? Just call her an ambulance for fuck's sake
I just feel annoyed at this point, I don't even think it's worth watching the other two episodes if it'll keep going like this

(His Last Vow spoilers)
Not as bad as people make her out to be (she made bad choices, yes, but she just wanted a future with John, a happy future)
An idiot (she could have just SHOT MAGNUSSEN -> ✅ Blackmail solved ✅ Sherlock isn't hospitalized and like............ There's no way Sherlock and John would have judged her for it, they would've probably helped her cover up the murder even so why, why why why would she shoot Sherlock)
So we all know Sherlock was very sad and in love at John's and Mary's wedding.
So
I propose: The melody he made. Surely, the one Sherlock Holmes would have given this one more thought.
I've read the idea that Sherlock taps 'I love you' in Morse code so he doesn't have to say it and gets it off his chest which inspired me to think: Did he, somehow, in some code, some form, include a hidden love confession for John in that melody.
Like
How cool would that be???
Maybe he wove the Morse code for 'I Love you' into the melody, or used a much more personal manner
Just-
These idiots I swear
Imagine later, when Rosie is much, much older, she finally gets into astronomy of all topics. She learns about the solar system, the galaxy, everything she can get her hands on and eventually, Sherlock finds out.
He's confused, doesn't understand why she'd learn and store all this unnecessary information but then, she explains the solar system to him, with eyes glowing like the very sun itself, and a few days later Sherlock knows every planet of the solar system and every close star, not because he tried, not because he used his mind palace, but because it was important.
Rosie had told him, she had told him all about it, so of course it was important enough to remember because his daughter had told him that
I finished the Reichenbach Fall.
Currently debating if I should watch the next episode where (hopefully), it's explained how he did it.
Anyway
Ouch
it's been a good day so far, time to finish it with a truly awful Sherlock episode

IS IT SO BAD TO JUST WANT A ROOMMATE. I JUST WANT TO BE BEST FRIENDS WITH MY ROOMMATE AND THATS IT. NONE OF THIS DATING STUFF.
After making my life more complicated than I would've needed, I believe I have the correct solution, no doubt thanks to a partner in crime of mine.
The middle sentence is:
Zweibein auf Dreibein vor Keinbein auf Vierbein.
Which translates to:
Two-legged something on three-legged something in front of no-legged something on four-legged something
my translation skills are legendary but it'll make sense in a second
How I figured this out? I didn't, I do admit, I was quite confused, so naturally I tried to automate the process. I wrote a bit of code which would give me every way the first word of the sentence could be interpreted and actually got 'Zweibein' and... for some reason concluded that didn't make sense and moved on. Eventually, I gave it to my partner in crime to read, who figured it out in a short time span.
Great, now we've got the sentence but what does it mean?
Well, the first part is easy. A two-legged creature - human, on a three-legged thing: a stool with three legs. The second part? Not quite as easy.
It turns out similar riddles have been in, for example, The Hobbit, but not the exact wording. Where are a lot of possibilities for a thing with no legs, it's pretty obvious the four-legged thing would be a table. But... what is ON the table?
In the end, we reached the conclusion that the thing on the table would be a thing to eat, since the person is sitting on a stool near the table. Then, what's a food with no legs? 🐟
Ein Zweibein auf dem Dreibein sitzt vor dem Vierbein auf dem ein Keinbein liegt.
Another possible solution for the riddle I came up with while trying to find the answer, but this one is a bit less... straight forward (and just for fun) :D
Are you bored lately? Do you have case at the moment ? Are you aroace ? Do you want a riddle?
Those are many questions for one ask. I am working on a case, but I couldn't solve it yet. It's irritating. I'm waiting for more information about the case from the police and the labs. It's tedious, I've a case but I'm bored with waiting.
I'm always ready for a riddle.

so this is mainly aimed at one person, the person who has inflicted this in the first place (/lh)
After decoding the helpful clue, I went back to the original post but the words in the middle sentence do not make sense to me. I've looked through every combination of decriptions (with the keys on the right) for the first word marked in purple, but nothing seems to make sense, not to me at least. Is the sentence in another language, not in German? Am I missing a component for decrypting the runes?
Another clue would be greatly appreciated:D

What the fuck
First of all how DARE they end a whole season on such a cliffhanger, that's so rude
second of all, why the fuck is Moriarty so goofy? Like... I don't even know. I like him, that much I know lmao. More than fuckin' Magnussen, he's more like the Umbridge of the Sherlock universe, Moriarty is so much better compared to that
(has he threatened and killed many many people? Yes, but at least he has manners)
Anything else... ummmmmmmmm... yea Sherlock go back to elementary and learn the solar system idiot
Well, I can certainly speak German so this was a breeze.
First, I tried to do a frequency analysis, but then, I recognized these symbols as runes, making this process useless. I pulled up a table of the runes and their names and started writing the rune names over every rune.
Using the first letter of each name, I got 'Guten' and upon continuing this with the other words, I got the following German text: (some letters have been modified to make it readable and make it make sense)
"Guten Tag Herr Holmes. Me[i]n Name ist Loki. K[önn]en Sie Deutsch und Alteresfutark (not so sure what that is)? Nur e[i]n kle[i]nes R[ä]tsel f[ü]r [Z]wis[c]hendurch.
Aweben auf Dreben wor kenben auf wierben. - I do not know what this sentence means, it doesn't resemble any German words I know. Maybe a dialect or a Skandinavien language
Um [w]as f[ü]r eine Situation hande[lt] es si[c]h? I[c]h erwarte ihre Antwor[t] auf ihrem Blo[g].
[V]iel Spa[ß]
Loki Laufeeson"
Which translates to:
"Good day mister Holmes. My name is Loki. Can you speak German and Alteresfutark (not sure what this is)? Aweben auf Dreben wor Kenben auf wierben (I do not know what this means). What kind of a situation is this about? I await your answer on your blog.
Have fun,
Loki Laufeeson"
---
My guess is that 'Alteresfutark' is the old language or alphabet which was used to encrypt this (alt means old, like 'Altgriechisch' is the old greek language).
I don't really have any idea what the sentence in the middle could be, it definitely bears some resemblance to German, but isn't quite similar enough to any other words for me to connect it. Perhaps it's a Skandinavian language or a German dialect I do not know.
And dear Loki, Versuch nächstes Mal eine sicherere Verschlüsselung zu wählen. Das, was am längsten gedauert hat war, alles wieder zu übersetzen :D

how is sherlock coming !! did you finish it i need to know
I'm still at the very beginning, I'm gonna finish the blind banker today so-
(also I don't have every episode available, but I should be good until season 3)
So far, it's pretty good, it's very interesting how many of the memes / gif sets I've seen on Pinterest are in every episode
I'm very excited to watch the Reichenbach Fall though, I've seen a thousand snippets of it but I wanna know how it actually went down
In conclusion:
Someone needs to teach Sherlock self preservation 101
And literally everyone around them thinks they're gay, heck, if Sherlock Holmes thinks you're flirting with him, you're flirting with him (looking at you John)
The way this fandom is looking I'm gonna need it
But my brain demands I watch it and I'm not one to deny not when it's dragging me by the ankles

Happy birthday to my favorite fictional detective <3
So in my friend group we use knee touching as a sign of romantic affection (as a joke)
Just saying...
Chaque jour et à chaque moment, c’est Noël avec la BBC et Sherlock !
Everyday and everytime... it’s Christmas with BBC and Sherlock !
Hey Fandom !!! Let’s make “Sherlock SnowBalls”
OK BBC ! I am ready for the challenge !
...better with the Sherlock's curls... isn't it ?
