Krafft-Ebing was right about one thing though. Bisexuality IS a disorder istg. Specifically the cycle. What do you mean I am missing out on a fling of my dreams just because I am not that into guys this year? In january there was this older guy from my former job (i've always been into older guys) that showed a strong interest in me but I had to reject him because I couldn't bring myself to feel anything. Back in september I would have thrown myself in his arms and I wouldn't even care that he sees me as a woman but in january I just couldn't care less. He's better off financially than me plus he has a motorbike?!? This summer could have been fun but no. I am into girls this year. Bisexuality needs to stop.

I’m not ace myself, so I’m coming at the whole acephobia thing from an outsider’s perspective, and as such, it’s not my place to speak to the experience of those on the receiving end of it.
However, as a bisexual dude, I can observe that many of the arguments that are employed to establish that ace folks have no place in the queer community are strikingly similar - indeed, at times practically word-for-word identical - to the arguments that were for many years (and in some circles still are) employed to establish that bisexual folks have no place in the queer community.
It’s enough to make a guy suspicious on general principle, you know?

the way people would fight for their lives to let the world know that bi women who prefer men are still bi!!!! but as soon as a bi woman prefers women it’s “are you sure you’re not a lesbian?” “have you heard of comphet?” because you can’t imagine a woman being attracted to both sexes but choosing women.

After much trial and error, they create a new costume that is bulletproof and resistant to electricity. It also comes packing some new hidden features: A special radar pulse she can emit by pressing a button on her sleeve that amplifies her echo location; Special adhesive boots and gloves that let her cling to and walk on walls; and a retrieval function that allows her to summon her staff if it is ever separated from her hand.
This design was heavily inspired by Tanya & Sindel (MK1), Okoye & She-Hulk (MCU), and Clea (Marvel Comics). What do you think?

So just a clarification
there have been some misconceptions about bisexuality and what it is so I wanna clear them up! This isn’t about any other sexuality, just bisexuality.
Bisexuality is the attraction to all genders. Some bi people have a preference, some don’t. For some, gender preference is a part of it, for others, personality and who the person is is a part of it. Bisexual people are attracted to ALL genders. Bisexuality is an all inclusive gender attraction.
It’s not two or more (because two or more implies that you can be attracted to a certain amount while being exclusionary to others and that isn’t good. A preference is different from exclusion.)—it’s not gender over personality—it’s not some genders and not others—it’s not strictly preference.
If you are a bisexual person who has a preference of who you are attracted to—then cool, you are bisexual (I.e, I am bi myself, a bi nonbinary wlw, but I lean more toward women aligned people, but that doesn’t mean I’m not attracted to other genders). If you are a bisexual person who doesn’t quite know who you like but you know you are attracted to every gender under the sun, cool—you are BI. If you are a bisexual person who is like ‘fuck it’, idgaf about gender I just care about who you are, as long as your personality vibes with me I like you—gender isn’t a factor’ then you are valid and you are bi.
Bisexuality isn’t exclusionary.
(If your bisexuality excludes certain genders then that’s problematic. However, so many bi people have been screaming to the heavens for the last decade to let y’all know that , overall, exclusionary people aren’t an issue in our community—at least no the point that a lot of people make them seem. Of course there are issues of transphobes in our community…just like every community. Like even gay and lesbian sexulities dealt with early ideas and beliefs that the sexualities only catered toward people on the cis binary. Lesbian and gay people have been fighting, just like bisexual people to let y’all know that this mindset is harmful and that just bcs a few transphobic, uneducated people thought that was okay—that doesn’t reflect the community. The sexualities have adapted, called out shit, etc., esp non binary and trans people within those sexualities. Bisexuality is literally the same way but y’all don’t let bisexuals breathe…anyway)

bisexual people can have overlap experiences and history with other communities but we are also a separate and unique sexuality and identity, we are not “half straight and half gay” and we shouldn’t be perceived or treated as such. just like we see purple as its own color.

true to my blog name, i'm proposing a design for the trope reclamation. as far as i know, there are only two other existing versions, and they just don't speak to me.
while i like the one in my current icon, i decided to keep the vague theme and give my flag a hazey pastel vibe mixed with dark, desaturated hues ─ think of the clouds after nuclear waste when the planet goes into an eternal winter!
there are two versions you can use if you like: one with an off-white/off-black pair bordering the central stripe, and the other without that makes it a familiar bi ratio (2:1:2) format.
