Bones robbed us of Dazai literally laughing out loud at Chuuya's rich girl act.
I love how the Guild are supposedly this organisation that operates in the shadows. They are the puppet masters behind the scenes and people aren't entirely sure they exist.
And than they show up, parking a helicopter into an ally way.
As well as hanging a base in what looks like a luxury cruise ship. And than one of them steals a 7 story building that was used as a front company for the Port Mafia.
Without even hiding it and it's all over the news the next day. And than threaten to bomb Yokohama to search for the book. When presumably Atsushi could find it regardless.
Because that's what mysterious organisations do, apparently.

I never get when people say Soukoku are doomed by the narrative. Like it makes sense in Beast but regular old bsd Soukoku?
The narrative wishes it could doom those idiots but they slot back into place the moment they see each other like no time has passed at all.
If anything the narrative is doomed by them.

Thinking about how Soukoku’s physical intimacy must have played out over the years.
Soukoku at 15, two teenagers who have hardly felt a gentle touch in their lives. Both unknowing how to initiate things, and at first making up for the touch starvation by picking fights with one another. A punch becomes more reassuring then a gentle hand ever could.
But slowly, the lines stop mattering. Touches linger, distance shortens, and physical closeness becomes more grounding than aggression ever had.
By the time they are 17, they have no concept of a line. They are close freely, albeit in unconventional ways: literally butting heads, practically lounging on top of each other on couches and beds, and helping one another with first aid.
The relationship they have confuses those around them, but for the two of them, labels never mattered. They are simply partners. Two forces that work in tandem.
Following the Dragon’s Head Conflict, they begin to drift. Then when Dazai leaves, it all ends.
There are no more quiet moments of just basking in each other’s presence. No more lingering touches. Not even any more fighting.
I wish I could say that when they work together again at 22 years old, they resume everything like they used to, but I think it takes more time for them to fall back into things again.
By that point their relationship is completely different; they’d have to find new ways to navigate things.
But I think they could get there eventually.
The ADA’s driving situation is so funny to me when I think about it, like-
Dazai is such a bad driver him even being near the car greatly increases your chances of crashing.
Atushi can’t drive for shit because he was stuck in the orphanage until he was 18.
Ranpo doesn’t even know how to ride a damn train and is so bad at navigating I can’t tell if he’s bullshitting or not.
Kenji probably didn’t even know what a car was until he joined the Agency.
Kunikida can maybe drive but he’s probably going way too fast at any given time regardless of the situation.
I don’t even want to think about what would happen if you put one of the Tanizaki siblings behind the wheel, especially if they were both in the car at the same time.
Have you ever seen Fukuzawa in the same room as a car?
And Yosano is yet to be determined.
So that leaves Kyouka. The 14 year old child as the Agency’s main driver when something comes up. And even she’s kinda reckless.
Does anyone else remember how at the end of chapter 12 (I think) when Atsushi saved Kyouka and they jumped off the ship, Kunikida told him he did a good job? (Even though he wasn’t conscious to hear it.)
After looking back my brain has come to the conclusion that Kunikida was not just praising Atsushi for saving Kyouka, he was actually praising him for standing up for his ideals, defending himself, and succeeding in what he set out to do. After all, it was a big moment for Atsushi’s character development, and ideals are literally what Kunikida is all about.
Now that I think about it, I fear it is obvious.
Chuuya made Dazai want to live.
Oda made Dazai want to change.
Knowing what we know now about Fyodor’s ability makes me wonder what would’ve happened if Nikolai actually managed to kill him.
If Nikolai found out what would happen, would he still want to kill Fyodor?
Or would he try even harder to kill him?
Nikolai would get the death he so wishes but Fyodor would live. He cannot win.
The new BSD chapter is about to make me have my fisheye moment I swear.
wish i could go missing for a little bit and no one would freak out and then i could come back and they'd be like "did you have fun going missing" and i'd be like "yeah, thanks" and then i could do that every couple of months or so and it wouldn't be a big deal
Fukuzawa and Mori switched places?
Imagine after Natsume pairs Mori and Fukuzawa up for his plan Fukuzawa finds out about Mori’s plans to kill the current Port Mafia boss.
Imagine Fukuzawa beats him to it and kills the boss first in the hopes that he can at least make the PM into a lesser evil.
Imagine Mori founds the Armed Detective Agency to stay on the tail of the PM and hopefully get Fukuzawa arrested or at the very least force him out of the boss position…
I feel like Asagiri lost his Bungo Stray Sanity a long time ago and Harukawa just puts up with it

My level 928 "Almond Waterfall"
This is a special waterfall that has pure almond water that you can drink and also scoop up and go outside the level, getting to this level is also surprisingly easy and this level is considered the #1 place to refill your almond water, there is also a village around the waterfall and the M.E.G. and P.E.A. security forces guard the waterfall to make sure no one breaks into the safe haven, the village has shops with food, sleeping bags, supplies, backpacks, clothes, flashlights and batteries and many other items and supplies that can be useful in adventures.

I always felt like Dazai and Akutagawa are very similar. Both of them are constantly looking for reasons to live. It's so sad that this was the reason Aku joined the PM, just like Dazai did. To find a reason to live for.
Dazai just left without an explanation, leaving Akutagawa behind.
Aku's jealousy of Dazai getting a "new better boy" hits the heart. Seeing how Dazai's approval was his will to live.
The mirroring of both Aku and Atsushi having thoughts about Dazai at the same time!!!! And on one hand Aku is seeing the Dazai in the past and Atsushi is seeing him in the present. PM Dazai and ADA Dazai are both one in the same but they are very different in what type of mentors they are.
Atsushi knows now this wasn't Dazai, he has been hearing him in his head for a long time, and all this time it wasn't him???? 😭😭😭😭

Atsushi CHANGED Akutagawa's perspective on life. I love everything about this. I love the way Atsushi changes people's ideas about the world. He has done that to Dazai, Kyouka, Lucy and now Akutagawa.
We now know that when Atsushi and him fought together, ("let's do this together") Aku felt something. Maybe a want for support.
If they are not besties after all this ends, bickering with each other and working together then I don't know why this all happened. I want a sskk trying to be friends arc so bad rn 😭😭😭😭😭. Atsushi SAW Akutagawa's past, he knows his trauma, Aku already knew his. This is a perfect starting point for them to understand eachother.
Everytime I see them together, it drives me crazy at how layered their relationship is.
I want them to drink tea together. I want Aku to stop caring about Dazai's approval. I want Atsushi to believe in himself. I want them to be happy.
