I see one more short character being treated like a baby by the fandom I may not survive
they probably are older than the main characters! Bumblebee was in Sublevel 50 for who knows how long and Tailgate was underground for like six million years

I’m not the first person to say this, but mischaracterization of Bumblebee in the TFONE fandom is honestly kind of crazy.
The infantilization aspect of it is really problematic, because it treats a full-grown man like the “kid” of the group. Bumblebee’s been slotted into this role because he’s often depicted as playing a son-like role to Optimus, which I of course *love,* generally speaking, but that’s not the role they went with in this movie, and B is still getting slotted into this role.
But in TFONE, B is actually quite possibly older than Orion Pax and D-16. We don’t know, but he’s been in Sublevel 50 for so long, he very well could be, and there’s nothing at all suggesting he’s younger than them.
Unlike in other iterations, B isn’t an “apprentice” to Optimus, either. He’s been at his side since *before* the Autobots were founded, which, since the Autobots will no doubt continue for millions of years, establishes him as a senior Autobot, not the “new kid” role he usually plays, either.
Then there’s B’s personality. B is talkative and energetic and eager to make new friends. He’s the comic relief character, which casts him in a less serious tone, but certainly not that he’s a kid. Orion doesn’t play a mentoring role to him throughout the movie, nor do any of them try to manage or babysit him. He’s an equal part of the group, even if he feels less “mature” because of his talkative personality.
B can also be read as neurodivergent, which makes the infantilisation of him in the fandom more problematic, since it treats hyperactivity and other traits found in neurodivergent *adults* as “kid” traits.
Like, why is B interpreted as the kid of the dynamic? He’s the weird uncle they found in the basement, obviously.
Not to mention, B’s primary trait as the movie goes on is his violent tendencies. Based on the fandom, you’d guess he was the most innocent lil guy, when in the movie, he actively takes joy in creating chaos and going on violent outbursts.
While his violence is made out to be a joke in the movie, in a potential sequel I would *love* to see it taken seriously as a character flaw. B is unpredictable and chaotic, and this could make him hard to work with in the Autobot cause.
B’s violent tendencies are genuinely concerning; the amount of joy he gets from slicing drones in half and holding the security team at knife point is uncharacteristic of your usual Autobot hero, and I wish people would talk about that aspect of his character instead of downplaying it when he gets turned into a lil baby in the fandom.
It reminds me of the infantilization of Tailgate in the MTMTE fandom. He’s treated like a lil baby because he’s small and emotional. This sucks because
1) I’m short and I *hate* seeing physically small characters babified to an extent I know they never would be if they were the same height as the rest of the cast around them
2) it treats being emotionally vulnerable as “child-like,” when MTMTE literally makes a point about the fact that Tailgate is one of the only people who can healthily process his feelings, since he doesn’t have war PTSD, and crying and having other big shows of emotion aren’t childlike, it’s healthy.
3) not to mention that Tailgate was a victim of emotional manipulation. Infantilizing him treats him like he was “gullible” for being tricked when Getaway was literally painstakingly planning a longterm relationship to groom him. Don’t infantilize victims, it’s treats it was their fault for being manipulated and not the abuser… you know, manipulating them.
Tailgate also is powerful/violent like Bumblebee, and this similarity gets downplayed. I haven’t been in as much of the MTMTE fandom (I’m still reading Lost Light, and I’m trying to avoid spoilers) but I have seen the Tailgate infantilization to an extent, and the B infantilization is literally the only way I ever see B being treated by the fandom.

Finally introducing my own Transformers AU. Starting with the franchise’s poster boy, Bumblebee.
One of the last naturally forged protoforms from the Allspark Wells, Bumblebee is a timid but kind young bot who strives to contribute anyway he can to bring an end to the war. He excels in his role as Team Prime's scout, along with some engineering skills he learned from his academy days. Although he prefers avoiding direct confrontation, he is not afraid to step into the fight with his wits and signature stingers… as long as he has back up. Despite his shyness, he doesn't mind engaging in conversations with his teammates and will even crack jokes to lighten the mood.
He was once way more outgoing and talkative during his constrained upbringing on Cybertron. That is until the war broke out and he barely survived the sudden total bombing of the city of Tyger Pax. He was found weeks afterwards when Optimus Prime stumbled upon a petrified, starving mini-bot trying to dig himself out of the ruble. The new Prime took upon himself to look after him, leaving the impression of a true mentor on the traumatized bot. Therefore, Bumblebee always stayed by the Optimus’ side, eventually becoming an Autobot and joining his team.
When Team Prime arrived (more like crash-landed) on Earth in search of Alpha Trion’s starship, Bumblebee was instantly drawn to the planet’s serenity and the rapidly changing pop culture of humans. He spends his free time either out on secluded nature walks, long drives through the city, or inside his quarters pirating games and new movies. Either way, he’s always listening to music. As the years went by, he became so immersed he decided after the war he would rather stay on Earth. He hasn’t told anyone yet and doesn’t know how, especially with Optimus.
He just hopes they can find Alpha Trion and get back to Cybertron before the Decpeticons find them.
guys what if I wrote a fanfic crossover with some sentient cars. what if KITT met Bumblebee or Herbie met Christine. It would be an absolute disaster but I kind of want to do it

Anyway! Guess who’s obsessed with Transformers now! Here’s a repaint and shading study of the Bumblebee poster! I plan on posting way more soon so that I can get all of the art I’ve been making shown off to you guys! Good to be back and hoping to have more frequency here soon!
I cannot hold it in any longer, so here are some of my favorite transformers headcanons:
1. transformers rescue bots blades is non-binary. Every time I watch the show and see blades I just think:" ah, that is a non-binary they/them robot if I've ever seen one"
2. Rescue bots chase as autism. I am not explaining this one.
3. all of the rescue bots have guilt about being asleep for most of the war and surviving while all the other rescue bots didn't.
4. MTMTE rodimus as AUDHD (autism and ADHD). he is also between non-binary to agender in my mind. (I am not explaining myself).
5. Seekers have no gender.
6. Bumblebee as autism.
7. Starscream as sociopath tendencies and is a psychopath.
So, for my yellow guardians au. Some more plot-
-it took cheetor and bee about 200,000 years to find bee the animal alt mode.
-wb and tell X found grimlock trough a faint energon signal from grim. (He still had a little bit, it was what made it possible for him to wake up trough the electric shock).
-bee followed the trio and left them clues to find the arc with cheetor. (They found the arc about 10 years before WB came to earth).
-bee does not have all of his memories, but he did remember some stuff trough the years with cheetor.
- one of the things bee remembered was "purple bad, red good." He as no idea why.

FINALLY got a name for my tf cybervers au. It's now called- The yellow guardians au
From now on whenever I will post about it I will use that name. NOW onto more stuff about it:
- bee and cheetor know that the decepticons and autobots are on earth. Cheetor saw windblade when she was hiding from the seekers.
- bee was the reason that tell X started helping and listening to WB (windblade).
- bee is a triple changer, his alt forms are the car mode he uses in the show and an honey badger (there is a big chance that I will change it, but for now he's a badger).
- tell X doesn't tell WB about bee or cheetor cause bee asked him to keep secret about them.

So, I finished cyberverse.
And I got more ideas for my lest cyberverse post. ( I'm making it my AU, it has no name yet but I will figure one out later)
SO, Cheetor found bumblebee's pod about two thousand years after humans first evolved ( the show didn't tell us when cheetor was created, so in this au he was created after humans evolved enough to be somewhat sentient). He took bee's pod to the Allspark and their the pod opened and bee woke up.
The Allspark spoke to bee and cheetor and so bee became a second keeper for the Allspark. (He still has no memories)
Bee and Cheetor became best friends (brothers) and protected the Allspark together.
Bee likes exploring the planet and he enjoys learning about the different beings in it. (still a scout at spark)
Cheetor helped bee choose anoter form for going around. (I still have no idea what animal it will be)

So, I am currently watching tf cyberverse (got to season 3) and I really like the "bee as no memories" thing that they did the first season.
And that made me think
What if bumblebee woke up just a few thousand years after the meteor that killed the dinosaurs and put grim on shut down.
What if he still didn't remember anything and wondered around earth looking for answers and something to do?
What if while walking around he heard the Allspark calling for him and started following it?
What if while following in it's direction he met cheetor (I don't know how to write his name)?
What if when cheetor found out that bee can hear the Allspark he brought him to it? What if the Allspark chose bee to not also protect it but also to be cheetors friend?
What if bee became a triple changer with a beast form so he could also move around without being spotted?
What if him and cheetor spent millions of years together, becoming eachothers family and learning about the world they are in together?
What will happen in the show? Will windblade atill find grim? Or teletran X? What about the seekers problem? It did only start because she stopped to talk with bee.
There are so many possibilities to how things could happen and it's really interesting to think about it.
No one asked for it (and probably no one ever will), but here is a list of the kinds of characters that I like (it is very weird):
1. Emotionally stunt/ compromised with a LOT of trauma.
2. Lives in a world with magic or other tipe of power system, and either can't or doesn't want to use that system, and just uses their hands and feet to fight. Like ONLY brute strength (and maybe a gun or a big a$$ sword with it).
3. Probably as ADHD or autism or other kind of mental disability that isn't confirmed but ALL of the signs are there and everyone knows they have it.
4. Anger issues.
5. Short and have anger issues.
6. Probably apart of the aro or ace or aroace community just not confirmed.
7. Women who can kill me.
8. Really smart but also very tired all the time. They just don't have the energy to actually try. (It's a good thing, they could take over the world if they tried).
9. No gender.
10. LGBTQ+
11. Animal.
12. Tired mentors.
13. Any kind of disability.
14. Clinically insane.
15. Dumbass.
16. Really likes violence and fighting.
And that is everything that a character can have to automatically make it my favourite.
