So this is very random and more or less a 'crack treated seriously' idea but I keep thinking of it every time I listen to the Captain America movie soundtracks.
AU where the serum gives Steve the ability to hear the 'soundtrack' around him. Of course he doesn't tell anyone because it'd make him look like he's crazy but he slowly catches on to what seems to be happening.
He picks up the USO dances really fast
He legendary at knowing when something bad is going to happen because he can hear the boss music
He's unconsciously good at timing his 'heroic' moves and moments since he can hear the pace pick up
He can vibe check someone instantly
Just imagine:
Steve on a mission with the Commandos: *Hydra music starts playing*
Steve: Ah, great we got company
Commandos: ???
Steve in the car with Natasha and Sam: *Winter Soldier track starts playing*
Steve: oh no
Everyone: How do you always get so pumped up for missions?
Steve: *bopping along to the action music*
*Pierce's character gets introduced with concerning undertones in the orchestra*
Steve: I don't like you
Steve in the elevator with the STRIKE team: *ominous music growing*
Steve: sigh
Fury: So Steve, it’s great that you brought this random guy with you and Natasha to my ultra-secret bunker that even Natasha didn’t know about, how do you know him again?
Steve: Sam and I met in a park last week and then I visited him at his job one time and then Natasha and I went to his house when we were fugitives and then we all broke into Fort Worth together
Steve: I also put Sam down as my next of kin in case I get horribly injured or anything. Just so you know

Steve: I’d also like for Sam to be an Avenger
The person who figured out the actor who played Pierce looked like Steve when he was younger and created the head canon that HYDRA hired him to be Bucky's handler for that reason has to answer for the pain they have caused
okay, so i'm the type of person who will buy anything that involves my special interest, and funds will allow, so when i saw captain america gummies, i bought captain america gummies.
AND THEN! i came to the realization that the blue raspberry shield gummies are totally just the stealth shield from CA:TWS and i'm a yapper so i obviously had to inform my family of this breaking discovery and i just don't think they were as excited as they should've been😔✋️ so now i yap into the void of tumblr bcs i gotta get this discovery off my chest. thank you for coming to my ted talk. (also completely unrelated, but damn sam wilson be hot)
