In years past, since it’s only been the two of them, Edwin is the ghost of Christmas past, Charles is present, and then Edwin come back to be future because he doesn’t have to speak or show his face. This year Crystal’s powers help them take it to the next level

Now I’m just picturing Charles doing research on Edwardian hair styles so he get Edwin’s hair exactly how he likes it, and surprise if him with it on like the 10 year anniversary of the agency starting and these boys are so married.

i have had enough DBD sadness. canonically, they cannot see themselves in mirrors, which means charles and edwin are constantly fixing each other’s hair, clothes, wiping dirt of each other’s faces. there is no other reasonable explanation for them both being so well kept.

This has happened on multiple occasions, and he feels no need to bring it up to Edwin

charles and edwins disguises look so married and now I can't stop thinking about some random guy trying to connect with charles in his disguise over 'I hate my wife' jokes and charles goig on a wild tangent about how much he loves his wife and how she's his favorite person in the world and getting really protective because internally he's like: that's not his wife that's his best friend but if he WAS his wife he would love him so much

and then he would simply not get the implications of that and go about his day like "wife successfully defended, friendship successfully friended, job officially jobbed 😃👍🏻"
