I dont usually post my art. I get a little off with it, but some art inspires me to continue to do art. That is what TBoC (The Bastard of Camelot wip) did. I love the characters and the complexities they bring to the story, starting or maybe contributing to my Mordreds family, here is her amazing aged up brother Gareth who she is very close with.

I wanted him to look kinda earnest and boyish, kinda like he wants approval from someone since Lot leaves a lot to be desired (pun intended).

Unshackled is an 18+ tale of betrayal, fantasy and horror. It explores the desperation and the length that the protagonist will go through to survive and escape from their own darkness and to seek justice.

You. The protagonist of the story. Since childhood you have been trained and taught to be loyal and guard the prince (now king) from any danger that arises. You were tasked to never question an order.

However, one day while ordered to guard a strange ancient artifact, you found out the order has become corrupted and power-hungry, seeking to control and dominate the world.

They have been performing dark rituals and sacrifices, harnessing the power of innocent lives to fuel their own power.

After confronting the leaders of the order and the king, they betray and frame you in front of the town’s people, who once called you a hero.

Imprisoned for a century, full of torment by visions and nightmares of the order’s dark deeds. You are plagued by guilt and despair, feeling responsible for all the lives that were lost and banished from existence.

Aurelian Caelum [RO] - The King [M]

Aurelian was trained from a young age to rule and had a strong desire to become the greatest ruler in Celestia. Despite his charismatic and confident look, he has a hidden personality that included selfishness and dishonesty. He could be demanding, jealous of other’s success, and may manipulate and deceive to achieve his goals.

Elara Pallas [RO] - The Councilor [F]

Lady Elara Pallas is an intelligent elf who comes from a family of scholars. She joined the order and became a councilor member, responsible for overseeing the order's operations and making crucial decisions. Elara was fascinated by the ancient warriors and their role in maintaining peace, and her hard work and dedication quickly made her a respected figure in the kingdom.

Kazuo Sakuragi [RO] - The Loyal [M]

Kazuo was a kind and helpful member of his village until a lycan attack killed his family and turned him into a lycan. After months of fear and anger, he was helped by the protagonist to adapt to his new life. Kazuo joined the warriors and became fiercely loyal to the protagonist. He vowed to find and kill the lycan that destroyed his life.

Aiden/Ava [RO] - The Mischief [F/M]

An orphan skilled in thievery and persuasion takes on various jobs, using their mastery of disguise and lockpicking. They have a code of honor, never stealing from the poor and helping children whenever they can.

Soul Collector [RO] - The Helper [F,M or NB]

"I am the possession that you cannot shake, the demon that dwells within. Your soul is mine, and I will never let go." Who are they? Why did they help you? Can you trust them?

The Lupine Knight of Kysia

Knowing what my characters look like (and being able to draw them) really helps me get a feel of who they are. I figured I should show you guys as well, so you can get a lil bit of a sense of who they are while things progress in the background. Design is subject to change of course, but probably not too much.

But yeah, cool purple wolf knight! I kinda considered giving them a fake tail, like one of those clip on ones. I thought it'd be cute.

"Keep an eye on them."

This was supposed to be another mission like any other. The conflict between Drenea and its twin kingdom, Kysia, is broiling once again. Spies amongst the Drenean court once again becomes a growing concern. Tasked to keep track on a suspected spy and follow them back to their hideout, you instead find yourself in the frigid region of Kasal.

The snow continues to pile high and the winds rage on. The sudden blizzard shows no signs of relenting. Thrown off course, you are forced to take refuge in an abandoned manor in the mountains. Worse yet is the company, a soldier that hails from your kingdom's greatest enemy nation. But it's either them or the howling storm and whatever starving beasts lie in the woods beyond the manor.

You just hope the manor will be enough to stave off the cold.

There is so much to say about the Lupine Knight, yet at the same time there is so little. They are one half to the greatest military duo in Kysia, some may say in all the continent. Working side by side with the second prince of the enemy nation. Citizens of Kysia sing their praise to the divines, and the elite of Drenea cannot deny the skill they possess. But outside of martial might, there exists nothing but rumors and speculation.

Scenario #5:

You pulled Chaewon into a deep embrace and let her cry. It was better to let her voice her feelings than to force her to think positively. The two of you remained there for a bit and eventually began your walk home again.

Before Chaewon stepped into her home, she turned around and called out to you.

"Y/n! Thank you." She jogged to you and gave you a quick peck on the cheek. Then I walked into her home, leaving you standing there, stunned. Did you just grow closer to your crush? All you could do is begin walking home in a daze, replaying your interaction with Chaewon.

Your thinking didn’t get to last more than a night, as it was the day of the battle of the bands! All tensions were high as you walked into the preparation room with your bandmates. Passing by several bands, you wondered if you could’ve been in any of them if you had chosen a different band audition.

"Hey now, don’t think about leaving us, okay?" Joked Chaewon. It’s like she could read your mind.

You planned on making another snarky remark as a response, but you had been suddenly bombarded with loud yelling. It was Kazhua and Yunjin.

"No, it’s your fault. Kazhua, I asked you 10 million times to pack extra string; can you not listen?"

"I swore I did! I didn’t think my strings would break anyway."

The two of them went back and forth until Sakura stepped in.

"Hey, now’s not the time to argue! Kazhua, ask around and see if anyone has an extra pack of strings. Yunjin, step outside and calm down. We go on for 10 minutes; we need to be focused."

Everyone nodded, and the room was awkwardly quiet. You could tell this whole ordeal stressed your bandmates out, but you were more concerned about how Chaewon was feeling. After all, she had voiced to you her concerns about losing this competition. You turned to look at her and could see her biting her nails with a stressed look on her face.

How can you calm everyone’s nerves?

Scenario #2:

You finished tuning your guitar when you heard someone shout, “Next!” Realizing you’re the only one left in the room, you hurriedly got your things packed and made your way to the audition room. The judges smiled at you and began to introduce themselves one by one. Only getting to pick up the names Yunjin and Sakura, a short, bob-length-haired girl caught your attention. Chaewon. In reality, you wanted to join a band to be drowned in bitches. But you couldn’t tell your parents that.

After sharpening up your guitar skills every day, you’ve finally felt confident enough to shred the stage. So, now you're looking at all the possible auditions to choose from.

You decided that now was a better time than ever to confess. I mean, you really did like Wonyoung, and what did you have to lose?

You explained that you lied to Yujin because you wanted Wonyoung to notice you.

Wonyoung could only manage to stare at you, then start to laugh.

Ouch, that really hurt your ego, but at least you got your answer.

Or did you? Wonyoung pulled you into a hug, still slightly giggling.

“You went through all that trouble for little old me? Y/N, that’s adorable. If we’re being honest, you kind of caught my eye too when you walked in. If we’re being even more honest, I might’ve tried bribing Gaeul to switch cabins with me too. Lucky for me, though, she said no!”

You stared at her, bewitched. Did Jang Wonyoung have a thing for you? The same Jang Wonyoung you spent all summer trying to make yours, liked you all along?

“How about we go back to the others and explain?” You nodded, smiling from ear to ear. You two held hands as you walked back to the camp site, ready to tell the others your true love story.

The summer had come and gone, and suddenly camp was all over. You bid your farewells to all your campers; you were even going to miss them.

All of the counselors started exchanging contact information, as you all wanted to stay in touch! After you decided to be honest with everyone, it brought you a lot closer!

Especially you and Wonyoung.

The two of you made up your minds to try long distance while you were away at university, and it was time for you two to go your separate ways. You went in for a hug, but Wonyoung gave you a nice kiss on the cheek! All your newfound friends cheered, and it led you to blush.

You all said your final goodbyes; it was a memorable summer! ❤

You appreciated this a lot.

Thus, you spent the rest of your summer days working hard! Once the camp had come to an end, the other counselors and you had gotten quite close. You all exchanged contact information and promised to stay in touch with each other! Wonyoung had been especially eager to.

This didn’t last long, though, as most camp friendships do.

You were still glad to experience the fun summer you did, though, and decided that you might make this your permanent summer gig!

You might’ve not gotten your lovely maiden's hand in marriage, but at least you got a new killer friendship!

That shattered your heart. Just cute? This was your whole life, which you had planned for them. How could she just think it was cute? You cried harder, hating life.

Summer camp had ended, and everyone had switched contact info! Wonyoung stated how she wanted to stay friends, but you rejected her. Now she could feel your pain.

She shrugged and walked away.

Scenario 5: Confession Time.

Everyone had a good time and told fun ghost stories!

Yujin even told the story about how the cabin she was supposed to stay in was haunted. Uh oh, that isn’t good. Everyone proceeded to tell her that she was making it up and that it wasn’t true. Yujin explained that you were the one who told her this, so if anyone was lying, it was you.

You felt embarrassed; you couldn’t just tell everyone why you lied. Instead, you ran away to your cabin in embarrassment. You hear a knock on your door, which you choose to ignore, but the person comes in anyway.

It’s…Wonyoung?

She knelt down in front of you and asked if you were okay. You had tears in your eyes from embarrassment at this point, and all you could muster up was a weak yes.

She told you that if anything was going on, you could tell her! She feels that you two have been able to bond this summer, and she can see that you’re a good person, so anything you have to say she’ll listen to.

Scenario 4: Night campfire.

You quickly leapt into save them! Everyone cheered around you while you heroically grabbed the drowning child, and put them back onto the canoe. 

The cheers quickly turned into horrified screams when you suddenly remembered: You can’t swim.

I guess the pure adrenaline of the situation made you forget this fact. You started to immediately drown, until you felt the warm presence wrap themselves around you and pull you up. 

It was your lovely lady!

She got you back onto the boat, and asked if you were okay! Wonyoung commended you for your act of bravery, gave you a hug when she saw you were shaking from the cold. You thought about drowning more often after this!

Flashing forward to the end of the night, it was time for everyone to get back into their cabins and sleep the night away. 

While you’re deep into your slumber, you get a shake from Wonyoung. She tells you that all the consolers are going to meet near the campsite to hang out!

This was a genius idea! You couldn’t swim, so this was the second-best thing.

Wonyoung ended up having to go in and save them. It was embarrassing.

To you, this was your attempt to save the child; to everyone else, this was potential first-degree murder. You were sentenced to a summer with no bitches.

She quickly saves the drowning child and ensures they’re okay. The games are canceled for that day, so not only do you look like an asshole for ignoring the drowning child, you can’t even win the game.

Scenario 4: Let the games begin!

“Jang Wonyoung is at your service.” She winked.

You felt yourself blushing, almost to the point where you wanted to propose. But you didn’t.

In casual conversation as the two of you unpacked, you also began to look over the itinerary for the next couple of weeks. It included fun activities that you were positive you would ace.

Capture the flag? Easy.

You lost.

Uno?

You got +24 on your first turn. You didn’t even know they made cards like that.

Arts and crafts?

You swallowed two boxes of string that day, and they still haven’t made it out of you.

Okay, well, camp might not have been going exactly as planned, but at least you were getting paid and hanging with your lady! The final activity of the day had been canoe racing, and all the campers had split up into their designated teams. This was your moment to show off; if you beat all the other 8-year-olds, then Wonyoung should surely be yours. I mean, who doesn’t love a winner?

The camp director screamed, “Go!” And off went all the competitors.

Suddenly, one of the children fell off the boat! Oh no!

You got down on one knee and called Wonyoung's name.

“Jang Wonyoung, would you make me the happiest person in existence and marry me?” You were chocking up at this point, tears swelling in your eyes. However, just before Wonyoung can answer, Liz comes barreling in. How rude of her to mess up your engagement!

“Wait! I have proof Wonyoung cheated!" You rolled your eyes, not believing a word.

“I have proof because she cheated with me.” You looked back at Wonyoung, and she couldn't even meet your gaze.

You were heartbroken.

You got up and ran away, never looking back.

Pulling Yujin aside, you explained about an urban legend going around the woods.

Once upon a time, in a camp just like this one, lived a girl named Yunjin. Yunjin lived in the same cabin as Yujin. She was everyone’s favorite counselor, up until the year she wasn’t! She killed everyone!

You were very uncreative.

Still, this had been enough to put off Yujin from staying there, because why would a stranger lie about something like that? She agreed to switch cabins with you!

Once you got unpacked, you decided now would be the best time to introduce yourself!

You decided that honesty is the best policy. Pulling Yujin aside, you explained that you were trying to make sparks fly this summer! She nodded, seeming to understand what you’re implying.

This is when you learned the hard way that honesty is not the best policy.

Yujin was freaked out that you were going to try to put the moves on someone you had never met. She told Wonyoung about your plan, who had been equally put off.

Thus, you spent the rest of your summer days as an outcast among your fellow counselors and students. You racked up some cash this summer but couldn’t buy yourself a new reputation.

Scenario #3: Cabin Roommates

Feeling more safe and secure in your parents car, you quickly packed your stuff in and got cozy. You were both nervous and excited about the new journey ahead of you. What type of adventures lay ahead?

You soon made it to your location, enjoying the smell of freshly cut grass, and the beam of the sun. You said goodbye to your parents and walked along the pavement to a group of girls all chatting with each other. One specific girl caught your eye; she had long, dark hair and seemed like a model. Maybe a model from something like Innisfree? That was a silly thought, though; why would a skincare model be at a camp?

The group of girls smiled at you, acknowledging your presence, but before you could introduce yourself, the camp director came in.

"Well, ladies, our camp critters all come rolling in tomorrow, so we’ll get you settled into cabins today!”

You got split into cabins in the following ways:

Oh no! How could you get close to your skincare model now? You had to figure out how to switch roommates with Yujin, but how?

➳ Take the train alone.

You were ready for your newfound freedom and decided you didn’t need your parents help anymore. I mean, you’ll already be staying away from them for 4 weeks; what’s an hour and a half train ride? You did, however, allow them to drop you off at the station.

Quickly getting your things onboard, you sat down and looked out the window. You could only imagine the new discoveries you’d make at this camp! You decided to nap a bit to store up some energy before getting ready to greet everyone to the best of your ability.

Is what you would’ve done if you got there.

Not only did you sleep past your stop, you were at the last stop the train had to offer. Getting your things off, you realized this wasn’t even the correct train. Boy, can your luck get any worse? You pulled out your phone and had to make an embarrassing call to your parents to pick you up.

While you waited the 4 hours it took for them to pick you up, you wondered how different life could’ve been if you had made the right decision.

➳ Bicycle.

You ran to your garage and stared at “Glitter Horse 5000” with determination. You named it when you were 5 and getting through your horse girl phase, and you added the 5000 just to sound cool. It was very cool.

Sure, your bicycle might still have training wheels on, but it has gotten you through hard times, like when you tried running away from home because you couldn’t have ice cream for breakfast. So, why shouldn’t you be able to pedal for two hours to your new job?

Well, you weren’t. You forgot to take into account that you’d have luggage with you during this trip and that you weren’t five years old anymore. You made it around the corner of your street before glitter horse 5000 made her last peddle. You stared in disbelief, tears rolling down your face. Is this really the last of the Glitter Horse 5000? Maybe if you had thought about your choices a bit more, this could’ve been avoided.

Somewhere out there, Wonyoung felt a glitter-filled tear roll down her cheek.

Scenario #2:

Just the name of it filled you with dread. Being stuck in a cabin with annoying, gross kids while the mosquitoes eat you up I guess it’ll have to do. You were determined to do anything to fund your summer bank account. So you sent your application and got to packing! You had a long four weeks ahead of you.

The summer camp was about an hour's drive away from your house; how do you want to get there?

A. Have your parents drive you.

B. Take the train alone.

C. Bicycle.
