am i the only one who thinks it's kinda funny that halloween is basically the one day a year where it's not only socially acceptable to cosplay as your favourite characters but encouraged and then it goes back to being something you get bullied for for the remaining 364 days of the year
I really want to make Lucy Gray’s outfit (specifically from the movie). I want it to be an outfit for practicality-that I could wear weekly or monthly or something, but I don’t know how to sew something to last like that. Does anyone have any tips? Her dress:

Gravity Falls marathon inspired me to do this. I've been thinking about doing a Mabel blog for a while. Heck, I've tried twice before on G+. What do you guys think? It'll be mostly text posts as like diary entries telling about her summer. Every day or so there will be a new adventure and there will be catching the followers up on the adventure.

Okay can we talk about how this is exactly what Storm should look like ? Wakanda is a fictional place of course, but it’s supposed to be in East Africa, near South Sudan and Uganda. The Nilotic people there have the most melanin and I’m upset that Hollywood continues to cast light skin women to play Storm.

Malevolent fandom, genuine question, how did Arthur tie Yorrick to his belt? I want to try to do a season 5 Arthur cosplay at Comic Con next year and want to include the medieval Alexa but I can't seem to wrap my head around how to get Yorrick attached to my belt. Did Arthur put a hole through the skeleton or just tie the top of the head?

I started watching the dream team smp. I've finished episode seven.
I have 82 hours, 30 minutes, and 36 seconds of it left. Roughly three days and ten and a half hours.
Now one of my favorite cosplayers is going to start doing dsmp cosplay.
Am I going to watch 82 and a half hours worth of mcyt to know what the hell is going on so I can continue to appreciate them and their work?

May the Fourth be with you! Having lots of fun being out in Ahsoka today for Star Wars Weekend.
So I completely forgot to post here!
I took my two Ahsoka cosplays to Star Wars Celebration London last week. It was an absolute blast up meet new friends and hang with old ones too.
I got into the Ahsoka panel and thanks to the Rebel Legion was also able to meet the costume designers for the Mandalorian and Ahsoka! It was super cool to talk to them about how the costumes were done and has probably inspired me to do a live action Ahsoka cosplay. Stay tuned on that one!
I finished my cloak for my Epilogue Ahsoka in time for Sunday of MCM London. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, I’ve just got to tweak a few things for the clasps. I also got to take my crochet lothcat, Ashla-Morai, made by @pomrania (commissioned by @justdwai) out to her first convention. She was a huge hit!

So somehow I completely forgot to mention this! I’m Rebel Legion approved now :D Not sure when I’m gonna do my first troop yet, but I’ll keep you posted!
So I wanted to share a project I did for a friend over Christmas. He recently has achieved lvl 99 in his 5th skill on Runescape and I felt the need to commemorate! Thus I decided to make him a Cooking Skill cape to honour the first skill he mastered.
Cape is made entirely out of flannel with some paint for the cooking pot part. There are plans for him and me to cosplay as Runescape characters somewhere down the line so stay tuned!

Aaaaand done! Here’s a turnaround of completed Star Wars Rebels Ahsoka Tano cospaly. I wore it to Ottawa Comic Con and these pics were taken at the end, so it’s a little bit battered, but I’m super happy with how it turned out.
I took a ton of WIP pics as I went along. Would anyone be interested in seeing those/a rough tutorial of what I did?
