As I pretend my bff is right when she says we can't even at the bare minimum be mean girls since 'none of us are blonde' a youthful me describes to my dad the terrible tumble zombie Alice took not only down down the rabbit hole but down down a muddy cliff and that's the reason her hair is brown
As I pretend not to care when my bff calls my guy 'weird' a youthful me demands that if I must date a man he cannot be conventional in any manor
As I pretend to be unharmed by the unexplained absence of my bff at my clubs squid dissection a youthful me is ostracized and abandoned by her only friend
As I pretend the barber cut my hair wrong when my bff tells me 'it's really short' a youthful me wanted purple and blue died hair cut in a shaggy mullet
As I pretend I don't hate my new skin so much that I claw at it raw and bloody a youthful me swore it 'would only be once and I'd never do it again'
Hi. Idk how long ago I said I was maybe gonna post here and proceeded to just not but I'm finally actually doing it.
Here's a thing. The proportions may be inconsistent and such but who cares that's not the point of this. It's a costume sketch which means I can maybe hate it a little less than I hate almost everything I put more time into.
On a less self deprecating note, I already have a couple of the pieces done.
Specifically the headpiece and the mask(though the mask is just a prototype):
Everything else hasn't even been started. I need to purchase fabrics and make/alter patterns and do a bunch of sewing and get leather pieces commissioned and all of that but it's a first step.
Idk if I'll do my further updates about this on Tumblr but yeah. I did a thing.
Thought I might share because I did a cosplay of The Phone guy last year for Halloween. I think it turned out pretty cool ig ^^

Summerween costume !
Rania is a huge fan of the Hex Girls even though they are from cartoons. She knows the songs by heart and she loves the whole "eco goth" vibe. She also loves music in general : she sings, she can go from alto to soprano thanks to her large vocal range and she even plays clarinet but she hasn't touched one for years now. Her favorite genre is probably jazz and she has a soft spot for klezmer when it comes to instrumental music.
So for Summerween, and since Mabel was insisting for her to join the whole celebration, she decided to dress as Thorn from the band (she had a big crush on her when she was younger). Dipper suggested a Fortune Teller as a joke and Mabel thought she would've done a very good witch but she wasn't comfortable with that last idea.
Of course, she didn't expect a big legendary Summerween Trickster to try to eat the kids !

I had a comment asking about my costumes! So I thought I would make a post about it! (There's A LOT of Little Shop of Horrors, hehe) 🌼
So prewarning, I'm just a little obsessed with Audrey, and how her wardrobe choices reflect her character development- leading me to recreate some of her costumes! 😍
So this started with some simple adjustments of preexisting dresses to make her leopard print and little black dress looks.
Though for a more complex project- I also made her wedding dress and apron completely from scratch!
But Audrey's not the only character! I've also made Orins dentits uniform!
But I promise my works not ONLY little shop 😅 I've also made other things like masks, puppets, and historical fashion!!!
