Behemoth - one of my characters and one of the fallen angels. Maybe I'll show her demonic and human forms later, if I draw them
A first for Autism Month, an original idea! Hans!
He got a neat hat. I love his hat.
Be like Hans.
Get a hat.
Were originally going to draw a blob but that would have become extremely insulting and only I would found it funny
I guess I think about the afterlife a lot. And it just hit me that why do we assume it’s just a skeleton in a robe? Does it have to look human just to make sure we can perceive it?
One off those things that looked better on paper then in Photoshop
She woke up in the middle of the night. Heart was beating fast and violently.
It was just a dream… Everything was okay… She looked around at her room, lit up by the moonlight. A broken branch barely hanging on to the tree was knocking onto the glass of her open window, that must have been the sound that woke her up.
She got up from her bed to close it, wondering why she can’t remember opening it before she went to bed… or what could have broken the branch… has there been a storm? But the window got closed and the noise was cancelled so she went back to her bed, the comfort of her oversized pillow and fluffy quilt.
The open window had let in some cold air so it was a priority to get her feet off the freezing wooden floor. Who knew summer nights could get this cold?
Once again buried in her bed, she closed her eyes to get some sleep but in her direct sight was the mirror on her desk, right on the other side of the room. It had almost looked for a second like something had moved past in the reflection. A hand maybe. Going up.
Was her mind playing her a prank or was it simply her own shadow she had seen? No. She was already in bed, her shadow couldn’t have moved. A fly maybe? Just passing by?
Turning around to turn her back to the mirror and to face the wall instead, she stopped halfway. Freezed from fear. Every muscle tensing, catching her breath and ceasing her to keep moving. She didn’t dare to look away.
Its body was grey, matching that off the roof with a hint of white-ish pink, like that of a corpse. The body was slender, the legs shaped in a way impossible for legs to move, like inverted knees leading to oversized worn out feet. The nails on the hands and feet were all broken. The body was slender, the spine was clear and dominant, leading to a neck that was off a worm. As it was fat and waving and never quite led to a head. It was simply leading to an end where a skull was hinted at through the stretching of the skin. With two eye-pockets, deep enough for pitch darkness with two eyes in the end, like glass trying to reflect off light from the bottom of a lake. And it lacked a mouth, or at least an opening in the skin as the skull had clearly an open jaw with teeth.
But it wasn’t how it looked that stopped her. It was the eerie sound it made. The mix of a being reaching for air combined with the loud sound of an alarm.
It was getting louder and louder, less natural for each second…
The sun rose and her mother had prepared breakfast and was heading up to her room to wake her up, assuming by the empty bed that she must have woken up early and already headed out.
A creature I designed back in August, a being of pure floral and green, burned and regrowing. Approximately 3 metres high and kind in nature and non-violente as it lacks any claws or teeth.
What I’m the proudest of here is that I can’t recall any real inspiration. I watched a Psych2go-video where they introduced their new mascot, a marshmallow with a plant on its head representing growth and that was that. The idea sparked from the mention of growth but can’t really say the two creatures have anything in common more than that.
And the original sketch has the lower part being reminiscent of the meat-monster from Stranger Things S3 but not really ready to call that an inspiration either other than a scrapped idea for the material, being now supposed to be completely made of vines.
And yeah, it has light coming out of it like Groot back in Guardians 1 but not really a character I had in mind either when drawing this.
And that’s my favourite type of sketch, where I can just pick up a pen and let the hand do the work for me, this being a minority that I had an actual theme in mind for once.
Day 30 of creatuanary
A bird, also known as Hercinia. Feathery being that inhabits the Hercynian forest, Germany. It’s said to have feathers that shine as bright as fire at nightime.
I hate color. It’s rough, course and irritating.
Day 29 of creatuanary
Keresh, legendary deer creature from jewish mythology. Have I mentioned that I have a problem with colors before?
Day 22 of creatuanary it´s the Leshen.
A weirdo that lives in the woods inspired by a mesolithic deer skull headress from Star Carr, Yorkshire
Let´s upload all the creatuanry stuff so far before january is over.
Day 1 Karkinos, also know as the crab that decided to do crab things when Hercules was doing Hercules stuff.
Heavely inspired by an ancient greece genious artist
swordtember 3 • cursed relic
Hyperfixations are such a blessing and a curse. It’ll give you so much motivation to do stuff, but then you to take a nap and can’t stop thinking about how much you love a specific bug
More creature sketches, but this time a “Bird-like Axolotl” monster hybrid
Silly monster creature loosely based on my backpack.
Finally setteled on one re-design for the Venus spy i was roleplaying as since 2019-18? on jeja.pl meme site. And my friend asked me to again draw the dream his brother had about them in maid dress and brain-controlling snail on head .
I used to draw them every month heh :p Down part was supossed to be more alieny since the start, but i never designed it before. Overall new design is more Venus worldbuilding and story heavy then for silly drawings, but personality stays the same, the drama-loving dumbass who seriously shouldn't work at the research station with soft spot for human humor.
some discarded concept sketches, the first thing i knew was to remove eyes since they are useless for species living only in caves. I decided to go with ability to walk in all directions as the main goal insted mashing earth creatures together..
<image link image> skeleton ghost shrimps were a cool inspiration.
Spider with fringe covering its eyes. That's it, that's the design.
Random lore bits from universe that exists in my head since like 4 years but i never wirte it down enywhere lets gooo.
Bees domesticated spiders long time ago, since they usefull at dealing with pests in hives, but only some of the spiders. Most species are dangerous predators making deadly traps. To diffirinciate beetwen them, fluffy companions are refered to as arnids (shortern arachnids) and wild remain spiders. Yeah that works like dogs mostly.
Unobvious difrence is spider food is sell as a large capsules to mimic slurping from exosceleton, and they have usually cobnests as their rest area. Also they are many breeds, and working spiders. One of most difficult one is spy-ders who are send to collect pheromone traces after someone (form of eavesdropping).
This one role is being a fluffy boi ^^
Water rusałka design sketches.
Rusałka is creature from slavic folklore, with many regional variations, in general it's evil nature spirit resembling beautiful woman. Honestly idk how to clasify this because there is many sirene (bird ones) and mermaid traits ahhhhh anyway.
Basic 'ology:
Larval stage is freshwater creature, it has both gills and lungs, but can't leave water because of delicate leg structure. Preys on fish, often causing trouble to fishermans. Dangerous to anyone who fell into their domain.
After morphing they remain close to water, luring and attacking imprudent humans in tall reeds and grass, if it's tempting althoug heartless voice and upper body don't distract prey from insect part, great strenght and fast fly is more then enough to fill hunger. "Headband" is actually biological set of eyes and antennas.
Animal inspiration is a species of damselfly, Polish nomenclature name is related to ballad about nymph and betrayal so that's reason behind species. I choosed damselfly bc larvas have nicer tails.
[my fav part^]
(,,nice face" is here because I didn't have nerves to draw it)
Hi, here's a weird 3D model of this creature I did, and also it's an alien.
a fun drawing I did
The Wolf man.
