y'know what makes gen's crying moment in the ending even more meaningful

is that gen went from being a sceptic

to this

time machines are not even achievable in our present time, but gen's faith in senku and science is unshakeable. "full of unthinkable things" indeed yet he believes in senku regardless

and what gets me more, is that the ultimate faith in humanity and its sciences is the core of byakuya's personality too

and gen's faith in senku and his expression parallels this conversation between byakuya and lillian

LIKE LOOK AT THEM

so here is dr stone's final and most important message– that science means perseverance, because humanity will never give up.

senku isn't great because he's a genius. he's great because he doesn't give in to his failures. he keeps going, because he believes in science. (and gen is the one who narrates this message in the end. oh gen asagiri u will always be loved!)

Master Ginro showed me this web-site and pressured me into making an account - I believe that is what all of this is called - so I complied.

As such, I believe introductions are in order. I am Matsukaze, a sword fighter from treasure island. I serve under master Ginro, and therefore the Kingdom of Science. I am pleased to make your acquaintance.

I fear I am not at all familiar with technology like this, and as such, I humbly request patience until I figure it out.

//ooc: Hello guys, @casper-ry here! This is a roleplay blog of the character Matsukaze from the anime Dr. Stone.

I saw some really cool dr stone rp blogs on tumblr, and decided to make my own. And Matsukaze is one of my favourite characters after all. This is my first rp blog though, so please be kind!

I haven't finished the manga yet, so please no spoilers past the anime (I'm getting there)

English is also not my first language, so I'll try my best to match Matsukaze's style of speaking, but it may be a bit off. I'm trying my best tho.

Hey there guys! So i know in my first DCST au post I mentioned letting out more lore on the story BUT at the current moment I cannot thanks to school 😭 so instead I shall be leaving some peaks on some other characters for the au, I also will be opening up fanart if you want too help bring this au to light with me, as of current I am working on drawing them on paper so I can confirm art designs over gacha designs, and if your ever so interested in sending designs or what not, DM me! :3 I would appreciate your guys ideas in making this AU fully flourish! Hi there, so as you know it an older post I showed my DCST au the Survivalist AU, I'll explain a little of my idea here because I am not informed on this stuff yet- (I'm working on it ;p) but hers som little lore!

The Survivalist Games

Diary Entry #1

Any normal person would know, never to risk your life in such dangerous situations but today, that wouldn't apply to our current situation

This was no normal game, no, it included all 7.8 billion people on earth, and whoever didn't survive at the risk of danger, was gone for good, I'm not sure how it happened, but, all I remember is that, I must Survive

It happened all to quickly, Class had just ended before a weird green smoke surrounded the whole planet, not long after I woke up some......voices coming from open pipes around told us what we were brought here for, to fight to the death, see who would be the smartest, cleverest, or strongest amongst all, I only happened to hear that whoever won, could go back to a normal life, but how was that possible when the whole planet was on this huge island in the middle of nowhere? Did the government get reduced to nothing as well? I'm not sure but all I have to do, is survive till I'm the last standing, I can't trust no one....

That is the start of the lore, to give a simple summary, some weird smoke clouded the earth, some people who refer to themselves as gamemasters kidnapped them all, shoved them on an island, and told them to fight to the death, this storyline will have a similar story to OG DCST but not entirely, it's going off a mix of the hunger games(have not read yet but will!) So, I'm only going off the top of my head, this little au was inspired some others au's I saw so credits to them(I can't remember names I'm sorry 😭) for giving me this amazing idea! I just thought that we could twist up the DCST au's a little bit! Oh and, here's a sneak peak to 2 other characters in the story

Evil Mecha Senku, He's a game master, and yes there will be lore about how here's and all that so don't worry!
