After having finished it over 3 years ago, I'm finally releasing my short film, Fen!

I made this short as my graduation project back at my old art school, the USFQ, but I kept it private to be able to submit it to festivals. But now that its festival run is over, I can finally release it to the public!
I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who participated in the production of this movie, be it by helping with the music, the voices, the logo, or just with their love and support. This movie is yours, too!

Hehe, after my toonboom harmony compositing course, this is looking so much cooler >:3!!
They told me that Samus' gunship looks a bit wonky but honestly I'm too lazy to fix it xD
Man, I really liked Earthbound back when I first played it... I couldn't stop thinking about the game, absolutely devoured it! I also did this Ness fanart where I tried to work with colored pencils more or less ^^
This must've been right during the pandemic, so 2021 I'm pretty sure, but I can't remember very well...
When Pokémon Legends Arceus launched, I ended up devouring that game, it was soo gooddd... And one of the characters that struck to me the most was her, Arezu!! So after completing the Pokedex in like a week, I decided to draw her too!
I also made a small adjustment to the original drawing, cuz it didn't look exactly like this before but I wanted it to look like this xD
I finished itt :3 it's been so long since I last drew my sona!! I've changed a lot, and honestly that reflects on how I draw myself now, too ^^
Here's one project that I haven't been able to continue, but godd I really want to!
Back in 2022 I started to write Electric Blue, a comic and a passion project that I wanted to keep workin on. But sadly, due to me moving out abd going back to art school, I had to pause it indefinitely.
Still, I cherish this project sooo much! I really want to get back to it as soon as I have some time
So, I'm getting more inconsistent with my posting ^^' but let's ignore that, I never forgor a post!
This one comes with a bit of ✨Lore✨ tho:
On May 24th, 2022, Ecuador celebrated the 200th anniversary of the Pichincha Battle, the final conflict that sealed Ecuador's (or well, the "Gran Colombia" at the time) independence from colonial Spain.
To celebrate it, the government decided to hire a spanish muralist (Okuda) who painted a giant Pikachu in the middle of the city, sparking outrage around the whole country. I, for one... Absolutely love it xD I mean, look at him! ❤️❤️
I unironically believe this is an amazing representation of our culture! But anyways, that's not the subject here!
Because atm it seemed relevant and funny, I chose to redraw an iconic art piece representing the Pichincha Battle with Pokémon! Here's the original art that I parodied:
I have tried to find the name of the author, but I barely could find a picture with more than 4 pixels in it (this one's kinda dark too).
Anyways, if you got this far, I hope you enjoyed the infodump! The story is really interesting and making it Pokémon themed was way too fun for me not to do it xD
Hehe, I finally finished this one by adding the flame in the end >:3 godd I'm so happy I was able to draw some Bowsette again!

I remember really wanting to do a Bowsette pic on the Mario Strikers style back when they announced Battle League... I thought I'd end up playing that game waay more than I actually did, but I still got this pretty sick art imo :D!
This was a Samus I drew back when Dread was announced in June 2021... Wow, time flies! And god, I still love this suit design and the game so, so much!

I love drawing Bowsettes when I feel overwhelmed, she's been my comfort character for a while now, and I took this one to practice colors and lighting ^^
It's still a WIP cuz I got lazy and didn't draw the flame on her hand (I'll do that later xD) BUT it's in a stage where I feel comfy sharing it ^^

This has got to be one of my favorite things I've drawn ever! It's starting to get old and I can see the mistakes, but I'm still proud of and impressed with this piece even after years of making it!
