Figured I'd redesign Dimentia for season 2 of my Freeverse (More to come soon), so I gave her a more original design than the one I had months ago! Hope you like it!

So, in an attempt to think of how to incorporate Dimentia (Genderbent Dimentio) into Season 2 of the story I'm writing, I recently had a thought, “If you change aspects of a character (Backstory, gender, etc), are they still the same character? Or are they an OC?” If that's the case, is that a good or bad thing? Would changing aspects of a character undermine and extinguish the exact charm that character has on specific fandoms? I WANT to include my favorite fandoms, but I also want people to actually enjoy the characters from that fandom. Any character or writing tips is VERY appreciated, thanks!
