Little dogs
I'm back on my bs with this color scheme
Don't worry about it.
So i recently lost a pet (like- last night)
and I got really sentimental and emotional and I started thinking about other pets i'd lost
so i designed this - a tattoo im going to get when im older
each print represents an animal ive lost
the filled in paw prints are cats
the hollow paw prints are dogs
there are chicken prints and a seagull print
as well as hermit crab claws
and a deer print
all this to say: memorialize your pets in some way. it doesn't have to be a tattoo, but just something to remember them by. making this helped me grieve. I recommend it.

My sister commissioned me to draw her two pups, Doak and Buddy. They’re sweet boys, and very good dogs.

I have seen exactly ZERO people mention how you can pet the dog members???
Is this not a thing people notice, or are they too heartless to care?
This one was just rotting away in my files when I drew it two days ago. I don’t like a lot of things about this piece, because I wanted it to be good and actually serious, but it just didn’t come out the way I wanted. So, there’s Samantha and her packs of dogs, coyotes, and wolves surrounding Jeremy. I thought it would be neat if all forms of canines listened to her and became aggressive when she was.
My stupid fatass dog goes to check his food bowl after every walk and then gets mad he doesn't have a meal waiting for him like I didn't just feed him an hour ago. brother unfortunately you don't get a treat after every time you go out and touch grass I had to learn that the hard way too...
i was about to start yapping abt structure but honestly yeah this is pretty true
"how do you tell the difference between a whippet and an italian greyhound" simple. look at it head on. if it looks like a dog it's a whippet. if it's making a face like you've just threatened it with a firearm, it's an iggy
Okay okay so this is actually interesting
On cats (and dogs too), as they get more white in their coat pattern, it kinda starts to creep up their body originating from their chest/underside. It’s not exact by any means, but whiting always starts from below :)
This happens for any other coat color as well, since patterns like merle and tabby generally affect only black (or black diluted to red). The final layer of “paint” on a cat or dog is white and masks all of the coloring below it.
(Based on a very meager knowledge of coat pattern/color genetics so please correct me if i’m wrong)
