Fethry finds out that Gladstone loves shrimp! After finding out he loves shrimp, he finds Gladstone and talks to him about shrimp. Gladstone is listening and letting Fethry talk before telling him, that he loves eating shrimp, not actually shrimp. (Or Gladstone actually does love shrimp, not just eating them and has a deep conversation about shrimp with Fethry!)
I was thinking about this earlier.

A discreet knock on the door woke Donald up. He groaned softly and rubbed his eyes.
The clock on his phone said it was midnight. Who needs what at a time like this? Or was it just his imagination?
Another knock on the door refuted his thoughts.
— Yeah, I'm coming, I'm coming... — Donald grunted and carefully climbed down from his hammock, buttoning the top buttons on his nightgown.
He opened the door of his room and his eyes widened, gradually waking up from sleep.
— Uncle Scrooge? — It wasn't that it was unexpected to see an old duck here, it was more than surprising. The miser practically did not appear on the boat, only to invite the sailor to dinner or an adventure or to remind him that he had to pay rent.
— Hey... Good night, lad... — Scrooge greeted awkwardly, smiling sheepishly.
Donald just stared at his uncle for a while, until he crossed his arms and leaned against the door edge, suppressing a smile. It is even more possible to see Scrooge indecisive.
— What happened, uncle Scrooge? Do you need help with... — He twirled his hand in the air, choosing his words. — something?
Scrooge cleared his throat and Donald noticed for the first time that old duck was holding a pillow and a blanket in one hand.
— Tell me, lad... Aren't you cold by any chance? — He asked carefully, clearly wanting to hint at something. Unfortunately for him, Donald prefers direct words rather than hints.
— Nah, I'm fine. I was even able to fix the "insides" of the boat, so I even get hot sometimes. — He replied casually, stubbornly ignoring his uncle's hints.
Scrooge frowned slightly and smiled wryly.
— Oh, yeah? — Scrooge grinned awkwardly as he adjusted the collar of his nightgown, since it was really warm in the houseboat, that the old duck was also a little hot in his Victorian nightgown. — Then... Aren't you scared? It's so dark in here, you know?
The answer was a slight blush on Donald's cheeks and his movement to the side, showing a small night light on the table in the sailor's room.
Scrooge hesitated even more and he asked almost stammering.
— And you're not lonely? Yes, you are nearby, but not in the same room... — He fell silent when he saw photos of all the family members on the wall of the room.
Scrooge's beak was opening and closing, trying to think of something to say, and Donald interrupted him with his laughter.
— All right, all right! — The sailor took a breath to calm down and looked at his uncle with a cheerful smile with a hint of impudence. — Uncle Scrooge, even when I was a kid, I knew when you were lying so obviously. — He rolled his eyes and snorted, twirling his hand in the air. — Just tell what you want, I want to sleep.
Scrooge's face suddenly turned very red and the old duck looked away, trying not to look not only into the eyes, but at Donald in general.
He muttered something, but Don did not hear anything.
— What you say?
Muttering again.
— I don't hear, uncle Scrooge.
Muttering.
— Wha-
— CAN I SLEEP WITH YOU?! — Scrooge, tired of hinting at something, screamed sharply, startling his nephew, who jumped in fright and hit his head on the doorjamb.
Donald hissed painfully, rubbing his bruised head.
— You... Want to sleep with me? — What Donald experienced can be called a shock. Uncle Scrooge? Scrooge McDuck? Wants to sleep with him? Normally, it should be the other way around (to Donald's embarrassment).
Scrooge nodded hesitantly and coughed into his fist.
— I... I've been having nightmares lately.. — Scrooge felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him again, realizing that his words sounded like an excuse, when in fact it was true.
Donald stared at his uncle in shock for a few seconds before mentally slapping himself to recover. He grunted and stepped aside to let Scrooge pass.
— Well, I hope you'll be comfortable in the hammock and your back will be fine in the morning. — Scrooge rolled his eyes at another mention of his age, though a faint smile appeared on his beak.
— I'll be fine, don't worry about my back, thanks. — he grumbled, laying a pillow on the hammock and giving Donald a stern parental look.
Donald chuckled contentedly, amused by his uncle's grouchiness, but was interrupted by his own yawn from the next comment. The sailor snorted, realizing that the desire to sleep was stronger than the desire to make fun of Scrooge, and lay down in the hammock, settling himself comfortably.
Scrooge also snorted, but this time out of irritation, when Don lay down so calmly on his pillow, but decided not to arise for the sake of the safety of their sleep and just lay down on his nephew, covering them both with a blanket.
A minute later, the two ducks fell asleep, hugging each other. The warmth of each other and the gentle rocking of the hammock comforted them better than they expected.
Donald, rubbing their temples: I am not proud of what I am about to say, but someone get me a cigarrette.
Della: But Donald, we don't smoke.
Donald: Cut the crap, Della. I'm not an idiot. I know that one in five people smoke.
Donald: *points at Gladstone* One! *points at Fethry* Two! *points at Gyro* Three! *points at Fenton* Four! *points at Della* Five!
Donald: Now, I am going to close my eyes, and when I open them, there better be a cigarrette between these two fingers!
Gyro: *puts a cigarrette in Donald's hand*
Donald: Thank you. ...Light?
The Squad: *all simultaneously pull out lighters*
Inspiration has come to me sharply, therefore, here is the relationship of the Duck-McDuck family to "feminine" things and etc.
Della Duck
SHE HATES wearing skirts, dresses and makeup.
She admits that all these things are cute and all that, but the maximum that she will allow herself from the "feminine" is only long hair.
She may be interested in something, but she doesn't see herself in it.
As a child, she was often naughty and changed clothes with Donald, which is why she often got a kick in the ass, especially from the ancestors of the McDucks and grandma Duck, but in the end they resigned themselves.
She is offended that she is primarily seen as a girl, and not a pilot and/or an adventurer.
She likes to admire something feminine, but not in terms of "I want it too"
"Wow, this girl is so beautiful..." "Yeah, I wonder where she got this dress?" “what? Oh, well. Uh."
Donald Duck
As always, Donald is the complete opposite for Della and he LOVES "feminine" things.
As a child, he almost never quarreled with Della, and if she said she wanted to change clothes, then he just shrugged and changed. When McDuck's grandparents and grandmother Duck scolded Della for looking "not like a girl," he never understood why they couldn't change clothes. Grandparents McDuck and Grandma Duck stopped after he asked Hortense why they couldn't change clothes.
In the emo phase, he mastered makeup and learned how to work with hair and even had a wig!
When he got older, he realized that he was a femboy (you can also say crossdresser) and, fearing condemnation and ridicule from the family and especially Scrooge, began a double life with the name Dolores NiPato
Growing up, he began to give up his second life more often in favor of his family, arguing for himself like this: "I am already an adult man, I need to stop"
During the ten-year breakup, he wore a long skirt so that the triplet ducklings could reach out and attract his attention, but when they grew up, he stopped, fearing that he would set a bad example
Huey Duck
It's hard for me to say anything about him. Everyone remembers him as a trans girl, but I do not know my exact opinion about this, so I have two of them:
1. He is indifferent to women's things and does not mind wearing pink according to his mood. He can wear skirts and dresses, but mostly when he realizes that he is actually half-naked and in the mood. He wants to grow his hair out to see how it will look with sideburns. He can learn to wear makeup to help his brothers.
2. Transfem, but tomboy with long hair.
Dewey Duck
Like Donald, he loves women's things very much! But unlike him, the duckling is not afraid to show it, because Donald tried all the time to show him that he is normal, different, but normal
Sometimes he receives jokes from Huey and Louie in the style of "Oh, my lady, you are so beautiful today!", but often does not understand that this is a joke and is sincerely embarrassed and rejoices at the compliments, which makes his brothers feel a little awkward
Some days, she dresses up with Webby in the same clothes because it's cool and thinks it seals their union as brother and sister
He always tries to join the bachelorette party or ask Lena to teach him how to make up (for Lena it's exhausting, so she taught Huey how to make up so that he could teach Dewey)
When he was at school and wearing a skirt, he was bullied, but he could often stand up for himself and/or he was protected by Huey and Louie
When Donald was called to school because of Dewey's "inappropriate appearance", he made such a scandal that the principal was very afraid of him and the duckling sometimes compared Uncle Donald with his mother in his thoughts
He likes to show off his images and outfits in front of Della, even if they are stupid. Della loves them all. "YES! YES, BABY! THIS IS MY BOY! SHOW ME THE EMOTIONS!"
Louie Duck
He mostly doesn't care about clothes, he only wears something comfortable and/or expensive
Sometimes he may wear makeup, but he is mostly lazy
He loves different rings and bracelets, but he has almost no sense of style, so he had to be taught how to wear jewelry correctly
Will destroy your life if you say even one bad word about his femboy brother (and trans sister)

Just a girl🥰💕
Sincerely does not understand why pink is only for girls
She gets offended and angry when they call her "childish" because of her favorite color

Just an old man sticking to the old rules
In fact, he doesn't really care whether he wears women's clothes or men's clothes either. But fuck you with a cane if you say that kilt = skirt
Purely out of interest, he may ask about makeup or some feminine things for self-care
He can wear a skirt or a dress, he doesn't care. But he still feels embarrassed in these outfits because of his old considerations.
He doesn't even suspect that he caused Donald's injury💀

*Donald leaves for the navy in the first episode*

*everyone has tea with strawberry juice*
Dewey: Yummy!
Huey: Wow...

Donald: Happy birthday, boys. Bon appetit~
HDL: Thank you, Unca Donald!
HDL: *make the first piece*

Dewey: Did you add chocolate to the pancakes?!
Donald prodly: Yes, I am.

The children decided to arrange a "fashion show" to help Uncle Donald decide which things should be thrown out and which ones should be left. Donald is too embarrassed (yes, he has dresses)

totally fine since your not trying to be pushy, I've been taking a little break from the season 4(I have done work that I haven't shown you guys) since I've been feeling a little art blocked and decided to shift my focus to other things for a bit

well now that depends on how you perceive it and from who’s perspective
Since it's been ask often on what season 4 is gonna be like. But may I ask what's your favorite episode in each season? And also, will there be any continuation on any of the episodes like the court episode?
hmm I've always liked Astro-BOYD, whatever happened to Della duck, the shadow war, the living mummies of toth-ra and hero at large
as for continuations I'm unsure as of now but I would like to bring back some characters like djinn or amunet for future episodes
Now I'm looking forward for Trouble in St. Cannard even more. Can't wait for Negaduck getting beat up by the Duck Avenger if he ever lay hands on Donald's family.

as a matter of fact yes. Big City Boyd is obviously Boyd focused although Huey is present, The Roadtrip Rite of Passage is gosalyn focused, What About Adventure? stars a young Della and Donald, Stowaway on Moonlight Harbour is June and penumbra focused. The missing fabric of Minnie Mouse is may and daisy centric, Roots of the Rich is more Scrooge focused and There’s also a couple of Lena episodes too
Possible instance even in Ducktales 17 standard?
Negaduck and Duck Avenger in Trouble in St. Canard + Donald only gets truly angry if any of his family relatives most likely the boys get hurt + Donald can defeat strong foes by his own + Given there some deaths both onscreen and offscreen in Ducktales (Black Heron, the other vultures, the lion turning old and hiker died in the mountain) + Gosalyn's debut episode having the stake of the dimension that almost got itself destructive + Donald's near death-experience.
Kinda looking forward for Trouble in St. Cannard. I have a theory that Negaduck not only wants to take down Darkwing but those close to him Gosalyn, Launchpad, and Gizmoduck. Huey got involved which caused something serious that Duck Avenger has to get out from retirement.
That reminds me, is Trouble in St. Canard takes place after Let's Get Dangerous?

Is Duck Avenger be something like a hero who returns from retirement or a recently new one? Some fanfics or stories have either Donald coming out from retirement or they just became a new hero after Gizmoduck and Darkwing Duck. Speaking of, will they be some friendship between the superhero trio?
I’m more inclined of going with the retirement option, plus his debut episode has some pretty extreme circumstances( idk if it’s extreme by dt17 standards but yk)
the superheroes aren’t like a canon trio for this but they are forced to work together every now and then

Honestly, would be fun to see how others react to see Glomgold in your court episode? Like the villains all agree they shouldn't invite Glomgold given the last two times they team up, he is the reason they lost. Even someone like Mark wouldn't want to invite him. So imagine their surprise to see Glomgold arriving that made both sides of the court groan in annoyance especially how he wants to testify. Scrooge's side wouldn't want him in here either because eventhough he is the reason they won, there's a chance that he might do something worst.
