Me and my friend were looking through the new dialogs, and we have a hypothesis on who this 'friend' may be.
At first I thought it was Gigi herself, but my friend said it was Connie, I was hesitant too agree but look at this:

So I think it's rather likely that this 'friend' is connie!

This dialog is so funny too me...there's so many ways you can interpret it at they're all hilarious imo
1. Astro is giving Boxten good dreams and he's just so anxious that he manages to twist them into nightmares
2. Astro doesn't understand what a good dream would be to Boxten and keeps accidentally making him experience The Horrors™️
3. Astro is intentionally giving him nightmares and lying through his teeth here(my personal favorite although unlikely)
Yk maybe I'm just not looking in the right places but I don't see much Looey fanart/fiction include his habit of laughing when he's nervous/uncomfortable.
I think it's an underappreciated part of his character, he's a certified giggler.
I think laughing is comforting to him. It's a familiar sound he can use to ground himself.
