Was working on this for Father’s Day, but LOOK WHO’S LATE, I know, you’re all shocked xD Trying out a new coloring technique in an attempt to satisfy my need for saturated colors and make art faster. Thoughts?
A little Parent Trap AU that lives rent free in my head where the bros are separated at birth. Roy adopts Al and Riza adopts Ed, and when the kiddos meet one day, they figure out that they are long lost brothers and work to get their parents together, some less enthusiastically than others. You see, Ed’s first dad walked out on Riza (*cough* Hoho *coughcough*), so now the boy is a bit suspicious of any potential suitors she might bring around. Thankfully Alphonse wins him over and convinces him that Roy is a Good Guy :D
This would be the end right before the ✨ wedding scene ✨ after Ed finally allows Roy to marry his mom c: Roy is helping the kid learn to tie a tie, and Ed is about to admit that if his mom has to get married, that Mustang is not the absolute worst option.
Close, but not the worst.

Day 3: Angst or happiness
it was easier for Ed to fall asleep with Roy than anyone else. they’d stay up for hours discussing anything from alchemy to food. anything to put Ed at ease. but, sometimes when Ed and Roy went to sleep Ed would see someone else sleeping next to him. welcome back to mud grave hell, everyone! you all knew i was gonna pick angst.

i have both covered. AU in which Edward Elric is costing the military entirely too much money in the wake of his getting lost or mixed up in trouble anywhere. it is the decision of the military to outfit Ed and his superior, Roy Mustang, with these handy shirts! it saves the military thousands. Roy is done within the first 22 minutes, tho. Ed also gets a nifty pony tail because i like pony tails.
